About

Since 1976, George Thorogood & The Destroyers have sold over 15 million albums, played more than 8,000 ferocious live shows, and built a catalog of classic hits that includes "Get A Haircut", "I Drink Alone", "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer", "Move It On Over" and the definitive badass anthem "Bad To The Bone". Now "one of the most iconic bands in rock & roll history" (Rapid City Journal) celebrates it all with their Good To Be Bad Tour: 45 Years Of Rock.

It's on tour that George & band flip the switch nightly, delivering what The Toledo Blade calls a "gut-bustin', guitar-wailin', face-meltin', take-no-prisoners, good old-fashioned lunch bucket rock-and-roll show". The Sacramento Bee says, "The Destroyers remain as they have been for years – Jeff Simon on percussion, Bill Blough on bass, Jim Suhler on guitar, and Buddy Leach on saxophone. They are without doubt one of the best touring bands in blues-rock history." Or as Rolling Stone once raved, "George Thorogood & The Destroyers play rock & roll hot enough to melt the polar icecaps and flood the world's major population centers."

What a show! I appreciated how friendly the EVENT STAFF was. Parking was very easy, and traffic was minimal. It was a great venue and I am looking forward to seeing more shows in the future.

    George still Rocks

by Joe Mac on 10/23/23The Wind Creek Event Center - Bethlehem

I just love seeing these old time rockers still performing. George played all the old great songs, no new songs, He had a lot of energy, vocals were good, guitar was sharp and most of all he had fun and entertained the audience.

    Great show, seating horrible.

by George fan on 10/23/23The Wind Creek Event Center - Bethlehem

George was great, really awesome. But the seating at the event center is horrible. Plastic lawn chairs place right next to other, absolutely no room. Do not attend events at wind creek casino. Packed in like sardines.

    Great show!

by Kim on 10/23/23The Wind Creek Event Center - Bethlehem

Wind Creek Event Center is a fantastic venue.Very well organized, concise signage, plenty professional of security at the entrance. Nice bars and concessions. The room itself is lovely, everything is very clean The sound and lighting were on point. The band was great, George sounded so good, he really sounded like he was in his 20’s. He plays that guitar like a monster. You could tell he gave it his all and it took a toll. He lost his wife a few years ago and just recently postponed this tour fora serious health issue of his own See him while you can.

Thorogood and the Destroyers brought a ton of energy! I don’t usually like seeing the same band twice, but I’d see them 100 more times! Such a great show.

    Another great George Concert

by Tobster on 8/12/19The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa Mesa

George Thorogood is still one of the best live performances out there. Saw George for the first time in the mid seventies at tags Royce Hall at UCLA. He played nonstop for 2 hours and just brought the house down. Still doing it at 69 years old baby!!!!! Nobody out works George!

George & the Destroyers were excellent. They didn't miss a beat. They energized the crowd with their popular hits and the crowd went wild. I was on my feet the whole time cheering them on. George sure does know how to entertain a crowd. George put forth every ounce of sweat he could to make us feel 17 again! Go George! Rock-n-Roll!!!!!!!!!!
