    Fantastic Show

by TK on 3/19/24Aztec Theatre - San Antonio

Geoff Tate is still on point in all aspects of performance. His showmanship and talent are spot on. When he played the sax, the crowd couldn't get enough. I will get tickets every time he comes to the heavy metal capital of Texas.

    Geoff sounded pretty good!

by Musicmonger on 3/19/24House of Blues Houston - Houston

Geoff's voice sounded better than the last couple times I had heard- My friends and I questioned how much vocal support was on the backing track used through out the show. At first, I was not impressed with his hired "young guns"of a band. I appreciated them a bit more as the set neared end especially the drummer (who was in control of the backing tracks). They were all good- but did not suit an image I have in mind for an old 80's rocker's band.. definitely a poor choice of hats! Vandenberg on the other hand was great! It was the first time I had seen him other than once or twice with Whitesnake. I was surprised to hear so much Whitesnake material in his set.. especially so many that he had nothing to do with his writing. Long live the music of Mel Galley! (RIP)

    Very Impressed

by New Fan on 3/18/24House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

My daughter is taking a history of rock class at UT Austin, and I picked this concert because it fit our schedule for her spring break home. We are both not hard rock or metal fans, but growing up in the 80s I have heard some of the popular songs. First off, both bands are incredibly talented vocally and musically. I was so very impressed. I do wish the sound for Geoff Tate’s band was more balanced. The drums and the bass drowned out the guitars and was overall too loud which made the sound of some of the songs sound repetitive. Geoff Tate is an amazing singer and really knows how to entertain and engage his audience. He really owned the stage. I was also shocked that he is an excellent saxophonist. Light show was also great. The opening act Adrian Vandenberg had the perfect volume and balance between the instrumentals so that I can hear each one. I love his guitar solos. Again, the band was so talented vocally and musically. I can really sense the love and passion of both bands for their music which made the concert extra special, and I am glad we attended this concert for my daughter’s assignment.

    Simply the best

by Kelly on 3/18/24House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

My wife and I have been attending concerts starring Geoff Tate since the 1980's. The dude is simply the best live singer ever. Even with a little age he hasn't missed a beat. Geoff sounds as good today as he did way back. Not many can pull this off. What is amazing is singing at such a high pitch hasn't destroyed his voice. As long as he keeps touring we will keep attending. See ya soon Geoff.

It was a short but well balanced setlist full of greatest hits and some more. Geoff has a great voice and his musicians were really good ones. Totally Recommended!

    Powerful performance

by D.R. on 3/18/24House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

Geoff Tate performing his original music, as well as the songs he wrote and sang with Queensrÿche, with a new lineup of immensely talented international musicians was an incredible experience. Three guitarists were rounded out with a bassist and drummer. Geoff even played tenor saxophone on some songs. During the encore featuring several songs, a fourth guitarist joined the stage.

    Still of the Empire!!

by JaymzP on 3/17/24House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

No one is playing the ('80's) Whitesnake catalog more authenticly than Vandenburg right now and based on David Coverdale's extended inactivity, there's little reason to assume that's going to change. Singer Mats Levin consistently nails the vocals and Adrian quickly reminds you why his tenure in Whitesnake was among the longest of any of the band's many members. Geoff Tate was essentially flawless; spot on vocals, masterful stagecraft. His band is comprised of seemingly recent "School of Rock"graduates, but they apparently made the Dean's list; delivering Queensryche's best known warhorses precisely. A bases loaded grand slam show from start to finish.

    Amazing sound!

by Becky on 3/17/24House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

My husband and I really enjoy seeing our favorite musicians in smaller venues like House of Blues. It's a more intimate show, and the sound is so good you feel the music in your soul. Great show, great venue, great sound, and two of the best lead vocalists out there! What more could you ask for?

    Another solid display of showmanship

by BK on 3/17/24House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

Have seen Tate (less Queensryche) at 4 different venues, the last being HOB Dallas. He’s a great entertainer, storyteller, and showman. Not to mention, he still has the “pipes”. I was not thrilled with the song selection this time. I’m all about an occasional “deep cut”, but there were at least 4 songs I didn’t recognize. He has such a diverse list to choose from, I could have selected many winners to replace those 4. The audience was clearly aligned as they chose those moments to leave their seats. Aside from that, the show was great. Sound, lights, etc were tight. There were 3 lead guitarist until the encore, when an additional one was added. That seems like overkill, but all were very talented and shared the spotlight well. The addition of a Pink Floyd cover was the highlight of the show for me. Tastefully done!!!! I will certainly see Tate again when he comes through town. He never disappoints. Having Vandenberg open was a great addition; they were equally entertaining.

    Another amazing performance

by J. Sloan on 3/17/24House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

Geoff Tate, the original voice of Queensrÿche, put on another excellent show. I have been a fan of Queensrÿche ever since I was a teenager and have seen them several times over the years (including once with their current singer) and have seen Geoff three times with his current band. For a man of his age (he is 65), his voice still holds up, especially considering the range required for his back catalogue. In short, if you have never seen Geoff Tate in a live setting, I highly recommend it. His current band is top notch and he still brings it.

    Outstanding band; outstanding venue

by Punisher on 3/17/24House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

Geoff Tate was everything I expected. He's every bit the vocalist he's always been—one of the best in any genre. He's surrounded himself with an amazing group of international musicians to create a total package of kickass. From the opening song, Empire, to the amazing cover of Pink Floyd's Welcome to the Machine, to the incredible closing with Queen of the Reich, they were crushing it and well worth the price of admission. The House of Blues was an excellent venue as well. The Foundation Room was the perfect place to hang out, grab a bite and a beer, and wait for the show.

    Greatest rock singer ever

by DallasDeb on 3/17/24House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

I have been going to see Geoff Tate for decades -- in Queensryche and as a solo artist. He never disappoints. His voice is always spot on and gives me chills when he hits the high notes. Can't see him enough!

Tate blows the roof off of the Ballroom

by Robb on 3/12/24Mercury Ballroom - Louisville

Vocals and show exceeded expectations! One of the best heavy metal shows I’ve seen in 35 years. Band was exceptional backing up one of the true Metal Frontmen of Rock History. Played all his hits and never let up for the whole show.

    Great show.

by Doobie on 3/11/24Bijou Theatre - Knoxville

Very happy with both bands. 1st time seeing both of them, and would definitely go see again. Vandenberg really surprised me, as they sounded great. Geoff is such a great entertainer/singer who didn't miss a lick. Both bands were spot on and couldn't of been better. Sound guys did an amazing job. Top Notch show.

    Incredible

by SuperBat on 3/11/24Bijou Theatre - Knoxville

I think Geoff Tate is one of the best singers and frontmen to ever walk the earth. As far as 2024 goes, he still has his voice 100 percent and I think he’s the one of the best to ever walk on stage. His current band is tremendous and they are some of the best musicians out there. All his guitarists are top notch especially two of them and his bass guitarists is awesome and the drummer is great. His opening act with Vandenberg was very good too but Geoff Tate band was excellent. This is my second time seeing Geoff Tate as a solo artist and I will go a third and 4th time. I seen him once with Queensryche too

    The Voice

    by L8r4u on 3/10/24Mercury Ballroom - Louisville

Geoff Tate has the strongest most melodic voice I never get tired of hearing. His stage presence is commanding and compassionate. The bond with his bandmates is a very obvious one of respect and admiration for the talent they all bring to help carry on the sound that is Geoff Tate. The Pink Floyd cover was completely mesmerizing with four guitars providing deep harmonious hypnotic attraction. Mastery of the axe is obvious. A quick show that leaves you wanting more with time well spent.
