About

Genesis is one of the world's biggest selling and most successful bands of all time. They have sold an estimated 100 million albums and have played to sold-out stadiums and arenas all over the world for decades.

The evolution of Genesis is unique, their sound developed and progressed throughout their career and with multiple line-up alterations in the early years, the classic line-up of Tony Banks, Phil Collins, and Mike Rutherford took shape in 1976.

'And Then There Were Three' (1978) was the first album the band released as a three-piece and spawned the single 'Follow You Follow Me' which was their first UK top ten and US top 30 single and proved to be the start of huge commercial global success. The albums 'Duke' (1980), 'Abacab' (1981), 'Genesis' (1983), 'Invisible Touch' (1986) and 'We Can't Dance' (1991) followed for the trio, alongside almost constant global stadium tours cementing the band as one of the most successful of all time.

Tony, Phil and Mike reunited again as a band in 2007 after almost 10 years for the Turn It On Again Tour which went on to be one of the biggest grossing tours on the year playing sold-out stadiums around the world.

2021 will see Genesis tour for the first time in 14 years, in North America, the UK, and Ireland.

    Can't wait!

    by D. J. on 5/11/21

Seriously though, the price of these tickets! Paid $650 just for a good seat, I'm in Denver CO, no local shows, flying to Buffalo NY to see them though. Expensive show all and all but appreciate this opportunity once again. Listening to this music, the whole catalog is just like reading a book, being taken away to another place, another time. Looking forward to hearing Nick Collins on the drums too!

    Seen every tour since 1978

    by RayRayNNj on 5/6/21

I consider myself a super fan. Started my journey seeing Genesis play Madison Square Garden way back in 1978 (I will be 64 when I see them come this December). I recall a certain special guest who came out to play an encore and his name was Peter Gabriel. Ah I was such a newbie back then to not have known who Peter even was (and somewhere in my archives I have a cassette tape recording of that night). But that concert, the “Mirrors Tour” was something indeed. Still gives me goose bumps thinking about it over 41 years later. I have seen every tour since and I wasn’t about to stop now! Sure the price is steep for decent seats but seeing this show as we slowly escape the age of Covid-19 is going to be awesome. I did see Phil play the Garden his last tour and though physically frail, his singing voice has still got the magic. And Nic on drums - gotta say holy moly he’s GOOD! In my mind the icing on the cake at any Genesis concert is the LIGHT SHOW - Definitely in a class of its own.

    It's Been Awhile!

    by D. J. on 5/5/21

Having seen Genesis in the 70's and 80's, I have NEVER seen a bad show from them! I hope the 80's becomes the medley era and they focus on the early material. Since COVID, I've been watching all old videos on YT and developed an even deeper appreciation of their music and lyrics. Thank you, Phil, Tony and Mike for returning to lead your children home! The very best band of all time!

    Absolutely The BEST SHOW!!!

    by SeanMusic on 5/2/21

I’ve seen many Genesis shows since 1974 with Peter Gabriel! I was also able to catch the 2007 tour in Philly; thinking that that one would definitely be my last chance ever. Silly me! Thank God they’re coming back again!

    A fan since 1981

    by S. H. on 5/1/21

I was turned on to Genesis at a young age (10) in 1981 listening to my sister’s new Abacab cassette. A year or so later, I heard Three Sides Live and fell in love with the “In the Cage Medley”. Learning that Peter Gabriel once was lead singer, I devoured every older album I could find and started my concert experiences in 1987 in Cleveland for the Invisible Touch Tour. I have seen them on every tour since and never disappointed. I am taking my son to see them next for sure!

They don’t make ‘em like Genesis anymore!!!

    by J. Barricelli on 4/29/21

I have been a die-hard fan of Genesis since I was a little girl listening to their vinyls on my mom’s record player. We saw Phil Collins at the US Open in Queens in 2016 — he only played two songs, but it was the highlight of our lives. His show at The Forum in LA in October 2018 was absolutely incredible, and we’ve been anxiously awaiting news about the reunion ever since. Seeing them at MSG will be otherworldly, but I’m ready to do whatever it takes to be a part of the magic that is this tour!!!!

    Genesis Fan!!

    by Tim on 3/4/20

My wife and I have never seen Genesis live in concert. We're huge Phil Collins fans! When I think of the 80s I think of Phil and Genesis! Please come to Minneapolis, Minnesota. If so, avoid U.S. Bank Stadium. Concerts at that venue are terrible due to echoing sounds from the glass and structure inside. Highly recommend Target Field in the summer.
