About

Genesis is one of the world's biggest selling and most successful bands of all time. They have sold an estimated 100 million albums and have played to sold-out stadiums and arenas all over the world for decades.

The evolution of Genesis is unique, their sound developed and progressed throughout their career and with multiple line-up alterations in the early years, the classic line-up of Tony Banks, Phil Collins, and Mike Rutherford took shape in 1976.

'And Then There Were Three' (1978) was the first album the band released as a three-piece and spawned the single 'Follow You Follow Me' which was their first UK top ten and US top 30 single and proved to be the start of huge commercial global success. The albums 'Duke' (1980), 'Abacab' (1981), 'Genesis' (1983), 'Invisible Touch' (1986) and 'We Can't Dance' (1991) followed for the trio, alongside almost constant global stadium tours cementing the band as one of the most successful of all time.

Tony, Phil and Mike reunited again as a band in 2007 after almost 10 years for the Turn It On Again Tour which went on to be one of the biggest grossing tours on the year playing sold-out stadiums around the world.

2021 will see Genesis tour for the first time in 14 years, in North America, the UK, and Ireland.

  • Priceless to see a truly great band do a victory lap.

by MM on 11/21/21Capital One Arena - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

They have brought so much pleasure to so many people over the decades. It was as much a chance to thank them and pay respects as It was a chance to enjoy their wonderful music.

Epic show. Nick Collins is amazing on the drums. Like father, like son. Rutherford and Banks appear as if they can go 5 more years. Phil was fun and had great tone.

  • Too bad

by TeddyS on 11/21/21Capital One Arena - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5

The VIPprogram was a rip off. The concert playbook was a collection of random, obscure tracks from previous alblums. It was not a very enjoyable experience. I left 1/2 thru it.

  • Genesis-The Last Domino Chicago1

by Pat on 11/21/21United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

After waiting nearly my whole lifetime, I finally got to see Genesis live. The United Center was a great venue with good sight lines and easy to access. The concert itself was amazing! The sound was perfect and the stage show/lighting was fun. Even with Phil’s health issues, he did a great job on vocals.

  • So Glad to Experience The Last Tour for Genesis

by Buff on 11/21/21Capital One Arena - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

The lightning & sound are excellent. I could have listened to them longer. But with Phil’s health, it just isn’t the same as in the past. Still this is one of the best Progressive Rock bands you will ever see.

  • Great Experience

by Joe G on 11/21/21Capital One Arena - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Great ticket purchase experience and access via technology, including transferring to group members. One suggestion: For those of us (older and old fashion/traditional) who value keeping memories of concerts, an option of non event accessing printing ticket option would be greatly appreciated. For example, I would have loved to print (and frame) my ticket to my recent Genesis concert.

  • Genesis Concert

by Tim on 11/21/21Capital One Arena - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

This show was awesome. I wasn't sure how'd it'd be with Phil Collins' medical issues, but he sounded great. His 20 year old son on drums was a chip of the old block. The video graphics on the backdrop were spectacular as well. If you get a chance to see them, I highly recommend it. Plus, this concert at Capitol One Arena, was on my birthday and was the best birthday ever. And I've now had 60 of them.

  • Bucket List achievement unlocked.

by Lance on 11/21/21Capital One Arena - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Well, I never thought I’d have the chance to see them. Amazing set list and great show. So Collins was confined to a chair? It was still a once in a lifetime opportunity. I see big thinks ahead for his son. Didn’t miss a beat and held his own. Great show.

  • Excellent show. Enjoyed tremendously.

Get rid of mobile anx e tickets. They suck for those who collect ticket stubs.

3 stars for the music only! 0 stars - The most rude fans ever! 0 stars - Outrageous prices. 1 star - Venue employees have a lot of room for improvement. 0 stars - No ketchup at all at concession stands. Last time I attend a concert at Capital One Arena!

  • Awesome show

Genesis was amazing, they're music selection was great, lighting and background was mesmerizing

  • Fabulous

by Jeb on 11/21/21Capital One Arena - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Genesis concert fabulous!!! Only one problem—security needs to be more proactive in removing unruly fans. Several people not seated in our area overtook the space, spilled drinks and overall very obnoxious and invasive. Should not have had to deal with that behavior at $1,000.00 per ticket. Thank you

  • One of the finest show I ever saw from Genesis

by JWSykes on 11/21/21Capital One Arena - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I was worried a bit about Phil Collins's health issue and the condition of his performance on stage. But, he proved me wrong! Phil can't stand and sit in the chair for the whole concert, but that is OK. But, his voice stilled the same as always. The lights show and visualizations were fantastic. The tickets price was high but worth every dims. I highly recommend to anyone to go and watch Genesis's concert. Might it be their last tour?

  • ❤️ Genesis

Our second time seeing Genesis and never disappointed. The sound was great and very entertaining. The venue was easy to get to.

  • Lasting impressions with the Last Domino Tour

by Dolphinkja on 11/21/21Capital One Arena - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing Genesis again was amazing. I last saw Phil a few years back in Dallas and thought touring would be over for him so I never imagined I would have a chance to see Genesis again. The music was tight. The song list they choose was very good. I am not a radio person, I love complete albums. I love to experience the songs never heard on the radios. While I understand I am in the 1% on this and most love listening to the "familiar" songs, it is a band like Genesis, that I wish would do back to back shows at venues with night 1 playing the known stuff and night 2 playing a setlist of not so known for us real progies! I do miss Chester, but welcome Nicholas as he was superb! Tony, Mike & Daryl were extremely tight! And although Phil missed a few (and choose to leave a few to the back up singes), he still sounded Genesis! Overall an amazing, emotional, enjoyable, worth every moment and $$, (Flew in from FL for the show), spent to again have the chance to see them one more time! Thank you Genesis for a fantastic night and for so many years of great music!! On a side note, Come on Capital Center.....the only wine choice was "Barefoot"????? Seriously? I would pass on that even if on death row and my last night had a choice of that or horse piss! Step it up!!!!!!

  • Great concert, great seats, great VIP service, parking issue

by KC on 11/21/21Capital One Arena - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Great Concert, great VIP service - but parking voucher was not accepted by AARP lot attendants - which caused me to pay $20.00. This voucher was given to me by VIP service staff specially for parking refund at this lot (AARP) Would like to know how I could get refund.
