About

Genesis is one of the world's biggest selling and most successful bands of all time. They have sold an estimated 100 million albums and have played to sold-out stadiums and arenas all over the world for decades.

The evolution of Genesis is unique, their sound developed and progressed throughout their career and with multiple line-up alterations in the early years, the classic line-up of Tony Banks, Phil Collins, and Mike Rutherford took shape in 1976.

'And Then There Were Three' (1978) was the first album the band released as a three-piece and spawned the single 'Follow You Follow Me' which was their first UK top ten and US top 30 single and proved to be the start of huge commercial global success. The albums 'Duke' (1980), 'Abacab' (1981), 'Genesis' (1983), 'Invisible Touch' (1986) and 'We Can't Dance' (1991) followed for the trio, alongside almost constant global stadium tours cementing the band as one of the most successful of all time.

Tony, Phil and Mike reunited again as a band in 2007 after almost 10 years for the Turn It On Again Tour which went on to be one of the biggest grossing tours on the year playing sold-out stadiums around the world.

2021 will see Genesis tour for the first time in 14 years, in North America, the UK, and Ireland.

Loved the show. The new arena is very nice. The food was very good in the Dime club. “Section 116” Paid way to much for the tickets. The seats were very good but to expensive. Love Phil Collins and was wonderful to see Mike and Tony. Nic Collins is fabulous on the drums. Again tickets were to expensive.

Awesome parking, seats were great, glad they had the video screens! Their videos were good. Phil still has it with the crowd. Nic did an awesome job on drums. I was sad he didn’t add in In the Air Tonight! It’s hard to see him struggle walking with his cane to the front of the stage. I’m glad I got to see his last show with Genesis in Chicago. Thank you for great music all these years. We will miss you! ❤️

  • Fantastic concert

by Jaja Simo on 12/13/21UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long IslandRating: 5 out of 5

It was an amazing evening, I can’t remember any concert that I have been thru that made me think about it days later. Loved each minute of it, Genesis were fantastic!!

  • Absolute fabulous!

by Shelly on 12/13/21UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long IslandRating: 5 out of 5

The UBS arena was great! The staff were the nicest staff ever, so helpful. The show was great. Drinks were expensive as heck but that’s everywhere and I didn’t like that the venue didn’t have a cash option for drinks or food you can only pay with credit card!

  • Fun evening BUT!!

    by D. A. on 12/13/21UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long IslandRating: 3 out of 5

Parking at the UBS Arena is a nightmare, it needs to be explained before you get there!!! The shuttle bus organization is a disaster and can add at least 45 minutes to your arrival. Genesis are great but, like me, past their prime :)

Was an outstanding concert! The arena was extremely nice and very easy to get in and out of with Uber!

  • Genesis

by SS on 12/13/21UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long IslandRating: 5 out of 5

Concert was awesome. Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford were spot on. Phil Collins voice , while not the same, was more than adequate to bring back great memories from many years ago. Nic Collins was absolutely awesome on drums and it was fabulous to see Phil watch his young son perform his drum duties

  • Great band! Great show! Arrive early

Great Genesis show,as expected. Brand new UBS Arena is very nice, but give yourself PLENTY of time to get there,as parking is far from the arena.Shuttle buses are good, staff was friendly and helpful.

Floor seats are not good there! Too far from stage and everyone stands! Traffic flow at the venue is badddddddd!!

  • The Last of Phil

by Harry on 12/13/21Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 2 out of 5

I was the biggest Genesis/Phil Collins fan. I gave this review 2 stars because the band was great, but unfortunately Phil was not. He struggled. Although we won't know how much because the sound guys screwed up & made him sound like Mickey Mouse the entire night. There were 2 male back up singers to help Phil out. You could see him struggling to sing. I do give the man credit being up there, cane & all, sitting down while singing. Sorry, but yes, this should be the last Domino !!!

  • Review of my 26th Genesis/Phil Collins experience

by RC on 12/13/21UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long IslandRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely awesome, as always! Shared this experience with a group of 10 close friends. The only negative was that this event was scheduled to be my final Genesis encounter of 2021 and that wasn't sitting well, so if booked Thursday, December 16th at the TD Garden Arena in Boston. Another road trip! See you soon!

  • Did not love the show

by Jolly on 12/13/21UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long IslandRating: 3 out of 5

While the instrumental and light show were spot on, Phil Collin’s vocals were past their prime. Given the extremely high ticket cost, I expected much more. Lesson to all, “you tube” our older performers before buying tics to see if they still “have it”

  • Great show but the Parking!

by Simi on 12/13/21UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long IslandRating: 4 out of 5

$50 for the pleasure of parking and THEN having to take a bus to the event is an abomination!! What a disgrace to charge people that much money!! Disgusting!

  • Terrible ,disappointing show,

by Flip on 12/13/21UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long IslandRating: 1 out of 5

Parking was atrocious , to expensive , long walk to the venue , no shuttles like promised , the concert was terrible , we left early Phil’s song choice was lacking , definitely not worth the price of the ticket

  • Great Concert by an all time great band!

by Viking on 12/13/21UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long IslandRating: 4 out of 5

We know we are all getting older. But the performance was outstanding. I saw Genesis 40 years ago and they sounded as well as wver

  • Bittersweet Adieu

by DJSteveC on 12/13/21UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long IslandRating: 5 out of 5

It was wonderful to see Genesis again. The setlist included songs from much of their over 50 year career. As usual, the light show was dazzling with video to match. Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks were joined by long time touring guitarist Daryl Stuermer and, Phil's son, 20 yr. old Nic Collins taking his dad's place on drums. The band was tight and outstanding, in particular Nic who handled both the Prog era classics and 80's hits in spectacular fashion. Phil Collins sat front and center, his wit, charisma and charm have been undiminished by time. He was engaging, funny and retrospective. Phil's voice isn't what it once was, but it was still great hearing him again for, what is most likely, the last time he'll be on tour.

  • Genesis and Phil Collins were amazing!! I loved every minute

by Marianne on 12/13/21UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long IslandRating: 5 out of 5

UBS arena is beautiful, fully staffed, no waiting in line, and bathrooms were plentiful. The acoustics were terrific!

  • Lip Sync the entire time

by Horrible Concert on 12/13/21Nationwide Arena - ColumbusRating: 1 out of 5

FIrst off Phil should not be playing anymore. Sad that people around him push him to continue to play for a paycheck. The concert was very painful to watch and you feel bad for Phil and the audience. He lip synced a lot of the songs and spent the entire time spinning in his chair.
