About

Genesis is one of the world's biggest selling and most successful bands of all time. They have sold an estimated 100 million albums and have played to sold-out stadiums and arenas all over the world for decades.

The evolution of Genesis is unique, their sound developed and progressed throughout their career and with multiple line-up alterations in the early years, the classic line-up of Tony Banks, Phil Collins, and Mike Rutherford took shape in 1976.

'And Then There Were Three' (1978) was the first album the band released as a three-piece and spawned the single 'Follow You Follow Me' which was their first UK top ten and US top 30 single and proved to be the start of huge commercial global success. The albums 'Duke' (1980), 'Abacab' (1981), 'Genesis' (1983), 'Invisible Touch' (1986) and 'We Can't Dance' (1991) followed for the trio, alongside almost constant global stadium tours cementing the band as one of the most successful of all time.

Tony, Phil and Mike reunited again as a band in 2007 after almost 10 years for the Turn It On Again Tour which went on to be one of the biggest grossing tours on the year playing sold-out stadiums around the world.

2021 will see Genesis tour for the first time in 14 years, in North America, the UK, and Ireland.

  • $55 parking at UBS Arena

by Jen and Gary H on 12/26/21UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long IslandRating: 4 out of 5

First concert at the new UBS Arena - $55 for general parking is outrageous. This should not be allowed. Going forward I will not attend any more events at this venue - there are plenty other options in the NY/NJ area

Thoroughly enjoyed the show; traveled from three states away because I didn't want to miss seeing them on their likely final tour. Production and performance were outstanding; venue was very nice with good sightlines and acoustics, and staff was friendly.

  • Dream come true

by Liz on 12/21/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I have wanted to see Phil Collins and Genesis in concert for a long time. Life was just never cooperative. I am so glad the option to see Genesis at TD Gardens became available. Ticketmaster made my dream a reality with ease. Purchase of tickets and attendance went so smoothly especially in these uncertain times of COVID.

  • AMAZING!!! EXPECTATIONS EXCEEDED!!!

    by Nick2112 on 12/21/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

That was byfar one of the most amazing concerts I have ever been to! And for someone like who had to travel so many miles on top of the money I spent, I sure got my money's worth! And even though Phil Collins had to sit due to his health, he still had his voice. And his son Nic did a HELL OF A JOB filling in for his father on the drums. So yes. Very well worth it!!! 😎🙂😉👌👍🤘❤🎤🎸🎹🥁🎵🎶🎼💿

  • Goodbye to one of the Greatest Band

    by The_Winkler on 12/21/21PPG Paints Arena - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

I've been a fan of Genesis since the late 70's when I saw a movie of them in theatres called Genesis in Concert. The film was taken from their A Trick of the Tail tour. You can see it on Youtube, it's everywhere now. The songs and performances in that movie got me hooked on the band and they have never let me down since. They are all much older now and while not in their prime form, still put on one heck of a great show. The production and light show was amazing as I have come to expect from a Genesis concert. The music selection was top notch with a good selection of hits and deep tracks. The sound and musicianship were excellent. Even Phil Collins seemed to get better as the show went on, he gave it his all. We saw them 3 times (Buffalo, Cleveland & Pittsburgh) on this tour and this was the final show for us. I think it was the best of the 3 as they sounded their best this night. We had great tickets in the front row. We were right in front of Mike Rutherford and Daryl Stuermer. I was actually able to get these seats the day of the show through TicketMaster. I was shocked these seats were available. This really was a great show and to see them up close I couldn't have asked for anything more, except to maybe meet the band.

We had a great time. Venue was perfect and we couldn’t have asked any more from the performance! Phil Collins gave it his all, loved seeing his son take over the drums. They all did an awesome job, would see them again! Thank you for a memorable evening!

Love all the changes at TD Garden in Boston. Was glad to see Genesis live for the first time. The band sounded fantastic! Nick Collins on drums was an animal!! The absolute highlight of the show. Thanks for the music guys!

We were fortunate to have awesome seats. 6 rows up from the floor and 2 sections away from the stage. The lighting and the sound was very well aligned and all staff members were very helpful and nick. Thank you for a great experience for a Great Performing group.

  • Phenomenal show

Genesis Last Domino 2021 Boston was a show not to be missed! The sound and especially lights & graphics were exceptional. The gentlemen of Genesis were outstanding! My heart goes out to Phil, as I'm sure he gave above and beyond to perform with his limitations. I am so appreciative that he did for us very loving fans. I was very impressed by his son, Nic. He was awesome too. The TD Garden staff was also great. Funny, kind & helpful. All around an EXCELLENT night. Thank you to Genesis & TD Garden.

  • Awesome Genesis

by Mumphey on 12/20/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The complete Experience was nothing short of breathtaking.... The boys.. or should I say middle aged Gentlemen put on a show of musical excellence and Phils son made a superb replacement for his dad. Although Phils health is not at his best he still sounds unbelievable vocally and to think i first saw the band in June 78 Miss this show and you miss Magic 🎩

  • Great concert!!

  • What a show!

by Connorbunk on 12/20/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 1 out of 5

Genesis did not disappoint! Their music is fresh as ever and they played songs that I forgot they had. Domino was the best song by far! Phil did a great job considering, and his son was phenomenal!!

  • Genesis Is Still Amazing

    by Charlie D. on 12/20/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Phil Collins shined despite his mobility issues, and his son is amazing on the drums. This may be their last North American concert, a sad thought. The band was as entertaining as ever, the light show complimenting the music. Ages for attendees ranged from about 5 years old (with parents) into the seventies. Phil, Mike, and Tony went way back to early times with songs like Cinema Show up to Domino written for this tour.

  • Genesis concert

by Bacon on 12/20/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

hmmmm... I was disappointed in the "stretching" of solos and ongoing instrumental music being played in order to fill the time... our seats were so far back and it was too hot and uncomfortable with masks on to enjoy ourselves. We left early, probably by 9:30-10:00 because we just got tired of not hearing some of the songs we were hoping to hear. Disappointed.

  • Great Show!

    by S Brent on 12/20/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

As fans of Genesis, this was not a show to miss as it was likely their last one together! This was a great venue to see this band and they did not disappoint.
