I bought these tickets for my mom's 76th birthday as he was her and my dad's favorite singer. I "might" have been the youngest person in the crowd but I loved the concert just as much as the oldest person in the crowd. He is a good speaker and singer. VERY enjoyable!
Both Gene Watson and the Bellamy Brother were awesome. They really put on great shows and sounded fantastic. The band that played with the Bellamy Brothers was outstanding!
Gene Watson is an awesome performer!!! We had great seats and his show was the best. The Bellamy Brothers was wonderful too. A little disappointed the show was so short. But we will be back. š
He was Awesome!!! I am 53 and I loved his show. He told a little about the song and when it was number 1. I would highly recommend seeing him.

Gene Watson is an amazing singer and give everything he can to his music and his fans. He is the best of the best. Great Performance! Iām looking forward to the next one.
This was one of the most entertaining shows I have ever attended. Mr. Watson's voice is amazing! He sang many of his classic hits as well as a couple of songs from his "My Hero's Have Always Been Country" CD. He is funny and entertaining! There was never a dull moment from the time he took the stage until the end of the show. His band was just the best. True classic country music. I would definitely go back to see him perform again and again. After the show he took time to sign autographs, take pictures with fans and visit with those who stayed and stood in line. Highly recommend for any music fan!
Saw Gene Watson Saturday night, April 20th at Margaritaville Casino in Bossier City, LA. It was a great show. BUT the VIP section above the balcony were very disrespectful. I know that Gene and the band had to hear them.
Funny, great singer, personable with fans. Signs autographs after show. Love him!!!
We had the best seats in the house it was amazing. For 75 years old Gene puts on an amazing and wonderful show. We had the best time will do it again

This was the second time we have gone to see Gene Watson at Ameristar. Last year was a bigger crowd but the weather could have been a hindrance to some. I am a fan of the country music for the last half of the twentieth century. So many great stars and all with originality which made them stand apart. If you heard a star you could recognize the person readily. So much talent and respect for the genre of country music as it was meant to be. Sadly most of those stars have passed and the ones that are left are not included in the mainstream visibility. Anyway, I place Gene in the people who were true to their roots and the country music tradition. I enjoy all the people from the hay day of country music, which was in a period from roughly 1950 through 2000. The new generation of people impersonating true country music just don't have the sincerity and understanding of the music that was born in America's heart. Life is so different don't have the emotional situations that were portrayed in real country music. They should change the name to American Folk and quit calling it country. So my rating for the old timers is high.
Iāve seen many of the āolderā country acts that left me disappointed, but NOT Gene Watson! From beginning to end, he did a great job.
The Gene Watson concert was a great experience. He has a fantastic band to back him, His voice is as strong as ever,He always takes time after the show to sign autographs and take pictures and visit with the fans,
I took my parents as a gift & really had no expectations. Boy, we were all WOWED by Gene Watson & his bands performance!! Great ballads, funny & entertaining! He put together a really great show. His voice is excellent-can still hit the notes & his musicians are all top of the line. Great performance-hope to see him again
The show was outstanding including the opening act of Larry Mudgram. I never heard Larry before and he was a good singer and very entertaining. What can I say about Gene Watson, he was fantastic! He still has the voice and was extremely entertaining.
Terrific show. Intimate venue. Price reasonable.! What more can I say.would go again
An absolute amazing evening!! I have been a long time fan of Gene and bought my tickets and made reservations the day I saw his show advertised. He is a down home personality with a wicked sense of humor and a voice of an angel. I wished I had tickets for the show on Saturday too. I drove 600 miles one way to see him and will do it again the next time he sings that close to where I live. He was AWESOME ā¤ļø
Gene Watson puts on an absolutely amazing performance. His voice is better than ever! It is no wonder that his fellow musicians call him the singers singer. If you enjoy real country music, he is a must see! One of the very best ever
