Excellent show for all ages!! GW was very personable, great Farewell Party Band…first time to see him and would def go again!! Great memories from younger days!!
Gene Watson is great and should be in Country Hall of Fame. Seen him many times and after 60years still singing great.
I totally loved the clowning around that he and the band did. He gave it his all no doubt. The older lady I brought totally loved it.. Ole Gene is a little Sexy...!!! Great Show
I’m a huge Gene Watson fan and I was singing along to everyone of the songs he sung. There was several songs that he didn’t do that I love as well. One Sided Conversation, Change Her Mind and One and One and One are just a few. I try to make everyone of his shows that I possibly can. Gene Watson is my favorite country singer and has been for a long time!! I sing karaoke and a lot of what I sing is Gene Watson.
Gene Watson and the Fairwell band gave us a great show.
Gene is the greatest singer and true country. I have seen him many time and as always he does a fantastic performance.
Fabulous! Gene Watson is the ultimate when it comes to traditional country music. He makes you think he is singing only to you. When he hits those high notes, as perfectly as if he were 50 years younger, chills go up my spine! I pray he stays well and able to share his music for many more years!
Gene Watson is such a wonderful performer. He kept us laughing in between his beautiful songs. Looking forward to seeing him in concert again.
Our group had a night out at the Ameristar to see Gene Watson in concert. Two of our “girls” had never heard of him, too young I guess, four weren’t sure about the country music, and one is a fan from back in the day. When we left the excellent show there were six new fans! It was every entertaining and Mr Watson is still a fantastic singer . We would see him again.
Try to see Gene every time he comes to town. He's true country and never disappoints.
No seat was a bad seat. Gene always puts on a good show. Only bad thing I can say is the road to the casino is terrible. They need to do something to the road.
Concert started on time and continued at a good pace. Played most of his hits and a few new ones, which were good. Band was great. Only complaint was that it was too short. Would have loved to hear more.
He sang for a hour &half. He was really good and my friend is a long time fan so she really enjoyed the concert
Congratulations on becoming the Newest Member of the Grand Ole Opry Gene! 🎶 Gene Watson put on a great show @belterracasino Still has an AMAZING voice & sang all our Favorites! Will definitely go again
Gene Watson gave 90 minutes of a wonderful performance. Seats were is to get to, i walk with a cane so that was a plus.
Gene Watson may be older, but he can still belt out his best songs. He cuts up with his band, loves the people who come to see him, and even stayed for autographs and pictures. His almost 2 hour show was terrific!
He was amazing and our seats were great. The only problem we had was when our tickets were scanned and one would not read. The woman scanning finally got it to read but we had to wait while she scanned others tickets before she got back to us. Do not think I will do my tickets on my phone again for that reason.
Wonderful review. Great show. Fabulous Showman. Puts on a wonderful show, then had a meet and greet and took pictures with everyone. Didn't leave until he met his last fan. This is unheard of in todays society.
Gene Watson never disappoints; he is a true showman. The Effingham Performance Center is a wonderful venue with a great sound system.
Enjoyed every moment, this is why he is a legend....now we need to get him into the Country Hall of Fame!! My only complaint and it's not a big one, I had difficulty seeing the entertainer from my seat, I was in Row S seat 35 & 36....had to lean around people in front of me to see....and venue needed more than one exit to leave the theater into lobby....this was my first time going to the EPC, drove 1.5 hours....will be watching for upcoming entertainers, would love to come back....
