"I ain't really happy," sings Gary Allan on "Get Off on the Pain," the down-home masterstroke that begins and provides the name for his new MCA Nashville collection, "until the sky starts driving rain." Unhesitatingly frank, mercilessly guitar-crazed, it's the rocked-out country confession of a smart guy drawn to what the rest of the world calls wrong roads and long shots, or complains of as aching bones and stubbornness, or — as Allan sings in a spectacular stretch of drawn-out soulful vowels — underestimates as dark horses. And as the California-born superstar releases his eighth studio album, it's about the most Gary Allan piece anyone could imagine.

He is an awesome entertainer and I'm so glad he didn't cancel the show after all of his stuff got smashed. Thanks!
I've been to several Gary Allans concerts & all are always incredible.
Gary Allan had everyone standing from the first song he played to the last. He even threw in a new one off his new album he's working on which is sure to be a top 10 hit.
The Show at the Hall County Fair in Grand Island was totally freaking awesome! Gary was soooo awesome and i LOVED his show!! Defininately will be back to see him!!! LOVED HIM!!
WOW, Amazing to say the least. Very awesome concert!!!!!!. I have seen Gary before in concert and last night was the very best!! Gary sang all his old songs and what an entertainer he was last night, truly entertained the audience and truly sang his heart out.
I would love to see Gary Allan come back to Roberts Stadium, Evansville IN. I love his songs and his shows. I would love to see him with his own show in Evansville, IN. He was the opening act for Kenny Chesney on July 10, 2008. I have seen his shows in far away venue. Would love for him to come back to Evansville, IN for his own show. He is a truly amazing artist and guy. I love his voice and his albums his shows have a lots of enegry and I have a blast at his shows. Would love to see him again in Evansville, IN . Also he was the opening act for Dierks Bentley on August 11, 2007 at the same place.
This show was great i really loved the energy of the concert and Gary Allan has such a wonderful voice there is no one else like him. I just loved the show.
He was amazing!! I loved the setting for the show, Penns Peak is so intimate you can could see Gary from any place in the building. He performed mostly newer songs but also lots of his greatest hits. This may have been one of my favorite concerts ever.
I love Gary Allan & I love Penn's Peak. We go there often. I took my daughter, it was her 1st country concert & she really enjoyed it! My fiance and I go there everytime he plays there. Can't wait till he's there again!!
Gary Allan at the Tulalip amphitheatre was one of best concerts I've been to. Gary Allan sounds great live and the small outdoor amphitheatre was cozy.
excellant concert in fact was so good working on catching him again on his tour
excellent how hope he remains often to showcase live. My only suggestion is to tone down the sound abit the first one was heard to understand
He is so HOTTT!! Gary gave an amazing performance.
First time at Stadium Live and had no idea what to expect, I was very impressed. The food was great, the waitress upgraded our tickets to the floor. We were less than 5 feet away from the stage. So close I caught a guitar pick! Gary Allan as ALWAYS put his heart and soul into the performance. Had liked his music but when I first saw him in concert, I was hooked. The band is excellent and everybody had a great time on stage. I had brought a friend that wasn't a country music fan - he had a fabulous time and really liked the band/songs. Now if only they could play in the area all the time!!!
Way too loud; people in front rows decided to stand the whole time which made it hard for people who didn't plan on standing. Venue folks could have prevented this. So disappointing - Gary Allan is such a talent and his performance was stellar.
Gary Allan is an incredible enertainer, the Tulalip Amphitheater venue is Awesome! However the Sound could have been much better.
Was an awesome show........Beautiful night out........Atmosphere was good.........Crowd was mellow..........Didn't play alot of oldies...too bad.....wanted to hear Man To Man........but hey..........You can tell "life" has taken a toll on him.........His tragic past reflects on him..........leaner & meaner looking......................His music was great & I wouldn't miss another of his concerts.............Have seen him afew times now & do love this guy!!!!
Gary Allan @ Showcase Live on 05/31 was amazing! Although I have seen him 3 times before this show, he never fails to bring it. He played for nearly 2 hours without a break, except for before the encore. He looked and sounded amazing. Good balance of old and new songs, and his upcoming release "Today" is fantastic! Great venue for a show, and I would recommend getting the floor seats, and make sure you arrive early so you can stake your claim.
This concert was absolutly amazing. There honestly wasn't a bad seat in the house. We paid $40.00 per ticket for the cheapest tickets thinking they would be ok but when we actually got there, I couldn't believe how close we were. I could see the whites of his eyes. I've never paid so little and sat so close. And the best part of it all is that Gary really sings and performs with his whole heart which is a real treat to his fans who are lucky enough just to be able to experience such a great part of Gary.
