The band was way too loud and drowned out most of his voice whether talking or singing. I'll still keep paying to hear him whenever I get a chance.

I would definitely go see him again if he's anywhere near me, and would recommend his concert to everyone!!

Most State Fair Country shows really blow it wide open and Gary just didn't do that, I know how he is, but I hoped for a touch more. I know there was a stage crash so I DO appreciate them still making the show and I AM glad that everyone was ok. Chuck Wicks also seemed a little flat, I thought he was a lot more exciting opening for some other acts on different occasions as well. I don't know, maybe it was the heat.

Gary Allan is A-MA-ZING! He's an awesome entertainer with an excellent voice! His band had recently had all their equipment and stage damaged in Canada, but the show was still great!

He is a terrific singer, guitar player. It is an energitic show that drew a standing crowd for most of the show. I would see him again today if I could. The Iowa State Fair once again had a winning concert with Gary Allan and Chuck Wicks. I wish I had the time to attend more State Fair events!
