About

Galantis is the dance music project of Christian Karlsson (aka Bloodshy). RIAA gold-certified debut album Pharmacy reached No. 1 on the Billboard Dance album chart on the strength of platinum-certified single "Peanut Butter Jelly" and 3x platinum certified smash "Runaway (U & I)" - the latter of which earned a GRAMMY nomination for "Best Dance Recording" - while 2017's sophomore album The Aviary (featuring 2x platinum-certified single "No Money") saw a top 10 debut in 23 countries. The third Galantis album, 2020's Church, featured the chart-topping gold-certified single "Faith" with country music icon Dolly Parton featuring Mr. Probz, which saw a #1 debut on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Chart before quickly reaching #1 on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay Chart where it remained for 5 weeks. Meanwhile, gold-certified collaborative single "Heartbreak Anthem" with David Guetta & Little Mix proved a global sensation, spending 10 weeks on the Billboard Global 200 chart and 13 consecutive weeks in the top 10 on the UK Official Chart. Latest album, Rx, is Karlsson's most deeply personal creation to date - featuring pop banger "Lighter" with Guetta and 5 Seconds of Summer which landed No.1 on the US Dance Radio chart. Galantis has received over 7.3 billion cumulative worldwide streams and over 1.9 billion video views to date.

Karlsson has been at the helm of Galantis since 2009 before officially debuting the project at 2014's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. His career has spanned across the musical genres of punk-rock, hip-hop and pop - including work as one half of acclaimed production duo Bloodshy & Avant and one third of indie pop band Miike Snow. Karlsson's songwriting/production credits have included the likes of Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry and extensive work with Britney Spears (including "Toxic" which earned a GRAMMY for "Best Dance Recording" and her widely acclaimed 2007 album Blackout). As Galantis, he has crafted remixes for the likes of Coldplay, Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith & more. Declared "pop's mastermind producer" by UPROXX, "eternally effervescent" by Billboard and "one of the most influential and untamed voices in modern music" by GRAMMY.com, the Swedish-born artist continues to evolve and push the boundaries of songwriting within the world of dance music and beyond.

  • GALANTIS AT ARTHUR ASHE WAS AMAZING

by EH on 9/10/24Louis Armstrong Stadium - FlushingRating: 5 out of 5

Galantis brought all the hits and all the magic! The venue was amazing and the crowd’s energy was electric. There should DEFINITELY be more shows at Arthur Ashe stadium, but specially during the off tennis season!

So much fun!! Galantis is amazing, as always! The US Open was such a fun, novel venue - definitely plan on going back for more events, if and when offered. Definitely plan on seeing Galantis again too!!

I had such a good time, was fun and high energy but got to sit/ stand in my seat and enjoy without being crushed. Great music, great vibes.

  • Electrifying experience

by Nick on 9/10/24Louis Armstrong Stadium - FlushingRating: 5 out of 5

Galantis busted out some old school bangers and played electrifying remixes of his own discography. Had a great time!

  • Paid to see the opener

by Ra on 8/27/24Echostage - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5

Galantis was great, when they finally came on at 1am. If I wanted to spend most of the night watching the headliner I would have bought their tickets.

  • Below average

Took way too long for them to start performing and definitely not worth the money

  • Don't go if you're a big Galantis fan

by Joe on 5/20/24Big Night Live - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

I didn't come for top 50 remixes from 20 years ago, I didn't come for Tokyo Drift or Eminem, I came for Galantis. They played a few of their songs and they were butchered, very short, bad remixes, just beating drums. Very disappointed.

  • Extremely Late

  • Fun, vibes were all over the place

by Liz on 11/27/23The Salt Shed - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

I’m a long time fan of Galantis but this was my first time seeing them. I was surprised how few of their songs were played normally, nearly all the the drops were not the versions I knew. I don’t mind some remixes, but when more than 75% of what’s played is unfamiliar versions it’s a little harder to enjoy. They also didn’t play full versions of most songs. Most of them only had one drop before moving on to the next one. The Avicii tribute and crossovers were really cool though. Loved that. Still a fun concert, and if you’re just wanting to dance this is a still a great one to see.

  • Absolutely amazing!!

Never been to a better dance concert in my life! I wish I could go back over and over again!

  • Great time!

by Rack on 11/25/23The Salt Shed - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Had a lot of fun seeing Galantis at Salt Shed. The visuals were great and so was the sound quality. Set was overall a lot of fun.

  • Played a dj set at their own show

by Talha on 11/25/23Rating: 2 out of 5

Barely got to experience Galantis songs — random ones were played for the most part and they weren’t good either. I first saw them in 2020 and they did a great job back then. Not sure what happened this year. Big let down.

  • Amazing!!!

by Ash on 11/25/23The Salt Shed - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

First of all, this was my first time at the salt shed and it was AMAZING. Probably one of the top venues I’ve been to in Chicago. Indoor and outdoor area, clean and big bathrooms in an easily accessible area, affordable drink prices and free parking right outside!!!!!! A very intimate venue as well!!!! Only complaint was the line for the bar could have moved quicker but even for that I only had to wait like 15 minutes. Galantis had an amazing set and I literally had the time of my life. I keep rewatching the videos and living it all over again. It was AMAZING. Thank you salt shed & thank you galantis !!!! I will be back!!!!

  • Great Show. Venue Needs Some Changes

by Mark on 11/25/23The Salt Shed - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

First time going to The Salt Shed. Galantis was great. The light and sound production was good. The parking is a disaster. $40 parking for valet or on site. I paid $45 since I used a card and didn’t know they don’t have accessible street parking within a reasonable distance. Coat check was also inefficient. Took almost 20 minutes. I paid for a GA floor ticket, but no one checks your ticket to get into the floor, so it got so crowded we couldn’t even go down there and had to go in the seated section. If I pay more for a specific ticket, I should be able to access the section without being cramped like a sardine. I ended up paying an extra $20 for nothing. The premium seating section didn’t have this issue.

  • Not what I expected

by KMD on 11/25/23The Salt Shed - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

It was a fun show, but it wasn’t what I expected. I wanted to hear Galantis music not a mix of a bunch of throwback songs. I also wanted to see the girl with the mask. I still enjoy the artist’s music, but I don’t think I’ll ever go to a concert again.
