wonderful as usual! Always enjoy the Gaithers no matter when or where we see them.
The concert was great but I seemed very similar to the last time Gaither's put on a Christmas concert at the Colesium. I wish Bill would schedule concerts in Fort Wayne more than just once every 2-3 years and not always around Christmas.
Wonderful Christian music filled with traditional favorites sung with heart! The Gaither concerts never disappoint!
A sparkling evening. Great groups, fabulous singers...totally pleasurable event.
This was an amazing show. All the performers did an excellent job, I enjoyed every single minute of it, Mark Lowry, excellent as always. The Issacs, even the grandson singing a song. The crowd was just exciting. I cant wait to attend another show of theirs, this is the 3rd one I have had the privilege of attending and will go to any within driving distance
This was my 18th Gaither Concert, and admittedly the Christmas ones aren't my favorite, but it's always worth it to go if you're a fan of Gaither music and the Gaither Vocal Band. I thought the song selection was poor, and then they had to fit in the Christmas stuff, so that displaced some other good songs. Mark Lowry was hilarious - great to have him back, although he didn't sing much. He's better in a group anyway. Never should have left the GVB.
This was a great balance variety for all ages! It was great that they focused on traditional songs during the first half and then place a family style setting for Christmas during the last half of the program!
We enjoyed the concert very much. We have been to many Gaither concerts and this was top notch.
It was so much more than anticipated, and a lot longer than that thought it was gonna be , which was a nice surprise.
Simply fantastic! We look forward to their next concert.
The concert was excellent and the venue was very convenient for parking and getting in and out of the facility
Great concert can not wait until next years concert
We have seen them perform 5 times now between Illinois twice, Michigan once, and Indiana twice. Every show is a wonderful experience at Christmas time. It hasn't been an annual event up until now, but I think it will be from now on.
This was a great show. I would highly recommend this show to anyone.
I have so many DVD's and you always had many of the Gaither singers sit out front and you would all sing as a group and then you would sing individually. All you did was bring out one at a time and there were not that many there. My biggest disappointment is David Phelps didn't get a solo in the 1st half of the concert. We left after the first half, so I don't know what you did or who sang or what. It was announced that just Christmas music was going to be sung during the 2nd half and we hear Christmas music playing from the time we get up until bed time. I wanted to hear from many of the Gather performers. So many were not there and for the amount of money that was paid, it was disappointing.
My husband and I loved the concert. It kept moving right along with non stop music. They had just enough comedy . All of the singers were great.
Bill Gaither is a legend, not for his voice but for his leadership, his spirit and serving God with everything he does. The Gaither Vocal Band shows wonderful harmonies with words that honor the lord. Add to that the Issacs, the Martins, Mark Lowery, and other wonderful singers, and 3 hours never went so fast.
Southern Gospel is my favorite music. St. Louis does not have any Southern Gospel except for a 2 hour period from 6 - 8 a.m. on a Sunday morning from a small radio station from a local university. Since the Gaither Homecoming comes to the St. Louis Region once every three years, I make sure that nothing interferes with me attending. I crave it so much that anything you do will be pleasing to me. I LOVED IT!
While there wasn't much that was very Christmasy about the Gaither Homecoming concert at the Schottenstein Arena in Columbus, it was a fast-paced presentation that seemed to hold the attention of the fundamentalist Christian audience. I appreciated some of the music, having taken my mother who is a Gaither fan, but some of the musical renditions became quite redundant and they lost my interest after awhile. My mother agreed. The length of the show was good for the cost of the tickets, well over 3 hours. We were disappointed that David Phelps didn't perform.
