Funk Master was horrible. He only play only 3-4 songs, had a whole bunch of people come up to the stage. Offer them money to see who dance the best whop dance and then he ended his set, to make the matter worst JOE did not show up and he was the Headliner of the show. He will be on blast on social media. We will never support him again. HORRIBLE experience
I paid to see Joe not a DJ. if Joe was removed then he should have been placed with an artists who is on his level of stardom. Not a DJ.
Ticket master have no respect at all I buy 2 Ticket to see joe and he canceled and I didn't new anything about joe canceled i didn't like that at all didn't want to see anyone i didn't but a Ticket to see so i left and now I get the last of my money that is not fair to me at all
Joe the main head liner didn't show and thry never replaced him. Maybe if the had Funk Flex the whole concert that would of helped. Carl Thomas was great as B level singer as Montell. When the concert was over 60% of audience were in shock that there was No Joe.

I have seen Funk Master Flex dj at other events and HE never disappoints. His energy and flavor of music always gets the crowd jumping.
I was very upset to find out a few days before the show that JOE (the headliner) was no longer performing. I feel like there should’ve been more information as to why and more communication about refunds. Although Funk Master Flex was ok he in no way should’ve ever been a REPLACEMENT for Joe. For starters, he’s not even a singer. Also his set was only 20 minutes , how do you replace the headliner and your set is so short. Ultimately I felt that the promoters played us and I will never attend an event thrown by them again. S/O to the singers who came and performed , they did a good job , but since I purchased those tickets in hopes to see Joe it just wasn’t enough.
I enjoy all the acts wish there was a live band the DJ Set was too short. And i really bought tickets to see Joe in concert.
I was informed the day of the event that the main headliner Joe was not going to attend. I was extremely disappointed and mislead. This was definitely a bate and watch advertisement.
The venue was nice but I’m very upset that the main performer dropped out last minute. It was very upsetting
I felt bamboozled!!!!! I specifically went to see Joe! The original line up was Joe, Carl Thomas, Montell Jordan, and Funk Master Flex. Then they said Flex was replacing Joe. Flex was always part of the show! One he’s a DJ NOT an R&B singer so how can “HE” replace Joe?! Thank God for Montell Jordan he SAVED the show!!
I am an old school fan so the music was great. I wish it could have been an all night event. Starting from 8-4am with a lot more old school acts.
The show was awesome, I enjoyed every act that came out. The crowd was very lively as well.
Venue, sound is not made for HipHop music or sound engineer was whack. You couldn't hear the performers on the mic. Doors opened an hour late, performers took too long to switch sets and there was no one keeping the crowd engaged between performances. Das EFX was horrible and Talib didn't start performing until 4am and the whole venue was empty. Not fair to him and the little people left with low energy because of the long chopped up performance night. They needed an official Host, Sound person, and Stage management. It was good to see Special Ed, BBD, Boot Camp Click, Keith Murray, Parish Smith on stage.
Flex is my favorite DJ but I think due the length of the concert, the turnout was low. O.T. Genasis, Busta, & Flex came thru but did nothing which was unexpected. Things happen...still had a great time and the DJ was good
Me and my wife attended the after party which was a complete dud! The music was decent and the drinks were good. I won't ever attend another Hot 97 event, the event was supposed to be hosted by Funk Master Flex, it started at 11pm, he showed up at 2am and was gone by 2:10am, Busta Rhymes never made an appearance as he was billed to. I had a great time out with the wife but the event was a Dud!!!
I bought four tickets to this concert. As soon as we show up to the show the entire place was empty. We showed up a hour after the doors opened. As we waited for people to show up and for the performance to start the place remained empty. Nobody performed and nobody showed up. I wasted 230$ on tickets for no reason. I wish I can be reimbursed because this makes me not want to ever buy tickets from you guys again .

The show was great!!! It was a great line up with a great group of preformers. The energy was perfect.
