Fun Concert Schedule and Tour

fun.'s chart-topping indie pop anthem "We Are Young" was everywhere in 2012, earning the band overnight success and one of music's highest honors: Best New Artist at the 2013 Grammy Awards. The song took home the Grammy for Song of the Year, and, along with anthemic hits like "Carry On" and "Some Nights," propelled the band's 2012 sophomore album Some Nights to the No. 1 position on both the Rock and Alternative Albums charts. Lead singer Nate Ruess formed fun. in 2008 following the breakup of his band The Format, teaming up with Jack Antonoff and Andrew Dost to write and record the band's demos. The trio's first single "At Least I'm Not as Sad As I Used to Be" came out in April 2009, quickly followed by the release of their debut album Aim and Ignite, which received praise for its progressive and theatrical pop sound. After opening for Paramore on their 2010 tour, fun. headlined their own U.K. concert tour before returning to the studio to record their sophomore album. The result, 2012's Some Nights, peaked at No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200, garnering critical praise and spawning platinum-selling smash singles "We Are Young" and the album's title track. On tour in 2013 with Tegan and Sara, the band treated ticket buyers to energetic live concerts of both old and new material, building anticipation for the release of their third studio album in 2014.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

“Anyone on the fence about seeing these guys should jump off now. They are worth every penny and then some. Absolutely amazing to see that they can sound as good in person as they do in the studio. I will see them again as soon as they decide to return.”

“This was one of the best concerts I've been to, my teenage daughters and I really enjoyed it.”

“Fun was amazing !! Nate has a million dollar smile that lights up the theather and a voice that's a gift from god ! Great night! great band! Worth the ticket price!!”

    A ridiculously good time!!!

by Adubbs on 11/29/10Webster Hall - New York

I was already pumped to see Fun live because it's one of my favorite bands, but I wasn't prepared for what a ridiculously amazing unforgettable time I was going to have! They are so talented, with several of them playing more than one instrument, and of course the lead vocalist just rockin' out all night long. Their energy was sky-high and it rubbed off because the crowd was going nuts!! I danced so hard I'll be feeling it for weeks, but I won't mind because it will remind me of what a great time I had at this concert :-) Can't wait until the next time they come to NYC!!!

    more than just Fun.

by FOSMAN on 11/29/10Webster Hall - New York

I saw them a few weeks earlier in Brooklyn and this show was twice as electric, which is saying a lot because I had a great time the first time. They opened with Be Calm and absolutely blew it out of the park.

    FUN. is absolutely superb!

by shydoctor on 11/1/10The Music Box - Hollywood

I definitely recommend anyone who loves music to go and see these guys perform live. Fun. is gonna be a great great band for years to come. Their music was clear, rambling but enticing. The songs in the CD were awesome, but you gotta see them play it live. It was powerful. Listening to their CD, I couldn't have imagined their performance to be an epic rock ensemble. Every lyric was honest. The tune grabbed attention. The band's energy was relentless. That gig was like meeting a hot girl who talks the right way and you just stare and feel amazed that you're in that moment and she mentally begs you to give some recognition of her and you begin to hint your enthusiasm and she elevates herself to a higher level and you're filled with joy that you don't ever want to end. I can't wait till they offer us their next album. And their next tour. One of the best shows I've ever been to.

    fun.!

by UCLAndrew on 10/30/10The Music Box - Hollywood

An amazing concert overall. fun. was amazing and couldn't have asked better from them. Jarrod Gorbel wasn't the best opening act, it was slow and kinda boring, but Steel Train came out and got everyone riled up. They did a good job. fun. was better than anything i could've aver expected, it was amazing!

This was an absolutely amazing show. I didn't see the first opener, but Steel Train and fun. both put on great shows. Fun. especially had an electric stage presence and the audience was really receptive.
