    Frozen matinee

by L on 2/4/20St. James Theatre - New York

Nice theater, but if you can't handle stairs - anything upstairs is not for you!!! We were in the very back row of the upper balcony. ... Although seeing the stage at a weird pitch, we were easily able to see the entire show. The show was easy to follow, the singing and dancing was delightful. There were some great video effects as well! Lots of fun. Liked it a lot!

    Excellent!

by Rona on 2/4/20St. James Theatre - New York

What can I say? This was an easy and seamless experience. We took the bus from Baltimore, walked a mile to the theatre, had lunch beforehand at Junior's, then enjoyed the show. I suppose because it was Super Bowl weekend, I got reasonable tickets - I think it was about $72 for my 8-year-old daughter and I. Not something you can do every day, but not terrible for a show - certainly better than the $300-$400 they sometimes cost when they come through here. The theatre was beautiful, the ushers kind, the play excellent. And the mobile tickets worked perfectly. Nothing bad to say! It was a lovely gift for my daughter. (One thing - you might have a sign asking people to remove screaming children, or put that in the announcements. It took a little while for one of them to leave, but understandable.)

    Unimaginable

by Sophia on 2/4/20St. James Theatre - New York

It was such an amazing and great show. I loved that they added some subtle adult humor for the adults to understand. The cast was amazing and really knew how draw the audience in. The seating was very narrow. For a tall person my knees were hitting the back of the seat and it was extremely uncomfortable. Otherwise, great show and great souvenir shop.

The show was amazing and we are still talking about it. The sets, costumes, costume changes, differences from the movie, the humor, the vocal talent - everything was fabulous.

    The show was great!

by Rachel on 2/2/20St. James Theatre - New York

The show was amazing, the cast was great, beautiful music and insanely good vocals! However...unfortunately we got a couple behind us talking all the phrases that were in the movie before the cast got to say them plus they sang along the whole time, loud and wrong! Next to them there was a father with his daughter who were russians so the father had to translate for her the whole time and she also had some kind of stuffed animal with her that was playing lullabies. Thinking about it this way it was definitely my worst broadway experience! It was very annoying! After the first act we did change our seats, us and another couple next to us, which I really appreciate from the staff who helped us get new seats! Partly because of our bad seating situations and mostly because the musical was just so good I would love to see it again!

    Unimpressive

by Beth on 1/30/20St. James Theatre - New York

I took my children to see their 1st Broadway show, Frozen. My 5 yr old was in awe. My 7 yr old, meh. I, myself, was not very impressed. I've seen many shows, including another Disney show, The Lion King. And quite honestly, Frozen just didn't have the excitement and pizazz that i expected. There was no "magic" or scene that left me with my jaw hanging open. It wasnt bad. But it was ok.

    Great fun!

by Ryan on 1/29/20St. James Theatre - New York

Bought an obstructed view seat (second row from stage, far left) and wasn't quite sure what to expect. This show was amazing! Entertaining and witty, and the leads were phenomenal singers. My seat VERY rarely could not see the entirety of what was happening on stage. Would recommend to anyone -- young and old!

by j. on 1/27/20St. James Theatre - New York

Being that I have seen many shows I would not say this was in my top 5. The vocals/sound was not in my taste all there. But I enjoyed all the effects.

Exceptional singing, dancing, special effects and beautiful scenery and costumes. The puppetry of Olaf and Sven was adorable. The young sisters were amazing little performers. Loved every minute of the performance.
