The music was great! All the artists were fabulous. Fast paced with not a lot of down time in between artists. They kept the freestyle party going! I wish the venue (Foxwoods) had a less strict purse policy though. Had to walk across the atrium area to check a crossbody bag that would have been acceptable at most theaters.
The performers were awesome, the agenda was perfect and the vibe was just amazing. Well worth it!
The experience wasn’t what I expected, we are still going through a pandemic and no one had a mask on. Some folks were drinking and being rude while others were trying to enjoy the concert. You definitely had to stand in order to see the stage or big screen, people were moving into my personal space, I had to tell them to move over constantly. The performers weren’t those I thought they would be (mainly no namers) room for improvement most definitely.
Concert was great ! Had lots of fun dancing and singing.
Reliving the freestyle era is always fun. The great George Lamond ("Bad of the Heart," "Without You"), the fabulous Judy Torres ("Love You, Will You Love Me," "No Reason to Cry"), the fun TKA ("Louder Than Love," "Tears May Fall, "Maria"), the seductive Noel ("Silent Morning") and so many more. Back to back hits. It's a guaranteed good time, and you WILL move your body -- whether you're standing or seated.
I loved the energy! I had great seats and the price was decent. I was in Orh6 Row E seat 601
It was a nice venue but you can't even dance. Every other concert I've been too people are allowed to dance. The guards were constantly reprimanding you. Who doesn't get the urge to dance. Hard not too noone goes just for the music.
The show was just over 4 hrs and felt nothing like it. It was non stop fun awesome acts great music. Best yet.
The show was super dope and super awesome Lisette Melendez was gorgeous and sexy as hell rob base killed their performance judy Torres was phenomenal at her stage performance , tka lit up the stage on fire overall seating was great pricing was good and i would definitely recommend any future freestyle show to any freestyle fanatic out there trust and believe it was An amazing experience my first going
I enjoyed the show, it gave great memories of my high school years. I just think some artist such as Bobby brown and maybe nice and smooth did not mesh well with the audience. They should be booked for r&b and hip hop shows were the audience would really appreciate seeing them perform. Some of the performers made too many comments regarding Latinos as if they were the only race who paid good money to see them perform. Overall as a black / Latina I enjoyed the show.

Show was amazing EXCEPT for bobby brown..he was horrible!!!! Don't ever bring him back. It seemed the whole venue was not happy with his performance
I loved the show. It was amazing and I can't wait till next year to see it again. I will just get better seats.
The concert was so amazing that it kept everyone on their feet. All the freestyle artists were fantastic. My favorite part of the evening was listening to the audience sing every word of every song as I sang along. What a wonderful experience!
amazing old school and freestyle event! i wish there were more of these types of events and better advertised. awesome venue to have it in. can't wait to attend another.
