Freestyle Extravaganza Tickets

Event was super exciting & artist line up amazing but...production was lacking. Show didn't move along quickly/ lagged. The DJ was a huge part of this event in between acts and should have been featured with name & spotlight to create more show energy for attendees. DJ sound during acts sound was off, hard to hear songs, artists had trouble following/hearing--why this is an issue at Radio City I don't know?!! Venue needs better greeters to direct crowd to bathrooms/ exits.

Naughty By Nature was a surprise guest. Lisa Lisa closed the show. The house was packed and the vibe was like going back in time but better because this time you have a better appreciation for the era. Soul Sonic Force was magic. Cece Peniston had total control over the audience. Amazing night!

Seeing and hearing artists from your childhood is an amazing experience. I grew up listening to freestyle with my moms (90s baby). My only gripe that there was soo much distortion, too much bass and not enough vocal, definitely sound was off balanced. Seats were comfortable and clean, decent drink options. The pretzels were horrible, hard and dry. Great experience overall! Loved the hip hop tribute!

Great line up. Nostalgia at its best. Fun girls night out. The sound system was off at times - the base was too loud/much. But otherwise a great concert.

I had an amazing time at the Freestyle Extravaganza. For the most part the performers did well and gave a great show. There was however 3 performers that did not show which was disappointing. Overall it was a good show.

Artist were all amazing, but you couldn’t hear the music/song beats too well while they performed. Voices were great but sound system wasn’t. Other than that it was great.

Some parts seemed less than professional George Lamond was one of the people that we came to see and he did not perform. I don’t understand why he didn’t perform or why they didn’t tell us he was going to not be there. They added Naughty By Nature which was not originally on the roster and they did not have tone Loc which was. I was looking forward to seeing tone Loc as well. So there were really good artists that came out. I thought the lineup was wrong they should’ve had the least popular artist in the beginning, I showed up a little late and missed nice and smooth, I was literally only like 15 minutes late so that was weird. I feel like some other artists should have gone before Nice & Smooth as they were one of the headliners. The thing I don’t like about radio city music hall is there a really bad with the cameras. It’s like if you’re sitting at in the back and I was in the orchestra section but I was like in the middle back and I couldn’t see the artists and I look for the camera to look at the artist and it’s about the same size as the artist. The whole point of the cameras to get close-ups to see the artist, to see the dancers and we didn’t get that with the cameras. This is my second concert I went to see Diana Ross and they didn’t even focus the camera on her but that was her choice. They just played other images on those which I think is foolish as well. We’re here to see the artist and if we don’t have tickets in the front row the cameras and the giant screens are supposed to help us see the artist and radio city music hall fails at that every single time. So hopefully they take the time and look at this review and tell her camera people to zoom in on the artist because that’s who we came to see. Otherwise near the end it seemed a little bit more professional and put together. In the beginning it felt like a really old school hip-hop concert from the 80s in the 90s that was just shoveled all over the place on organized. And then I guess as the more professional artists came out their sets were a little bit better and well thought out and reflected the price of the ticket. It was a good event for me, I make the best out of anything but my friend was very disappointed because she really wanted to see George Lamond she thought it was very on organized it didn’t seem like a professional concert to her and she feels like she wasted her money, it was called freestyle extravaganza and there was more hip-hop artists then there were freestyle artists, maybe it should’ve been called 90s extravaganza.

it was an epic show, the artists were classy and the sound and stage were perfect. I pay for good seats and promote these events to my friends so we go 30 deep.

I loved the show , only thing that I would change is the after event, not all the artists were there and it felt like no one wanted to be bothered with their fans, only to hang out with each other, kinda disappointing. It seemed as though some of the performers were being rushed through their acts

The concert was awesome. It brought memories from the late 80’sand 90’s. Can’t wait to the next concert.

Great live performances and TKA & Judy Torres &Cover girls & George L Dynomite ! Gotta see them again in Alantic City for sure !!

I’ve loved Freestyle since DAY 1! I had the privilege of meeting TKA back in the day & they are still amazing. Judy Torres, I CANNOT EVEN DESCRIBE, ugh shes just fantastic. The whole show, the comedian, the tributes to “Weeepppaaaa”, Biz, DMX literally brought me to tears. I saw the ‘MC’ & I just wanted to hug him & thank him. I wasn’t supposed to be there because I ‘died’ exactly one week before, so to be there was the most incredible gift.

Unbelievable concert....all the acts were awesome. Really got the crowd into it. Will defintely go again.

Really good Show. It was nice to catch up with friends fornthis event. I'll be back next year.

after a long hiatus due to covid the all starts of freestyle gave an unforgettable show!!!

The Event was Great! The Tower looked clean and nice. The only thing is that the Elevator was broken and people were stuck in the elevator. There was no other way to go upstairs as we were told by employees there are no stairs!! i would think that would be a dangerous situation when there is a fire!

I went in 2019 and it was great! This year was meh. The Cover Girls were fantastic and TKA were good! I was so excited to see Lisa Lisa, but ended up disappointed. Talk about phoning in a performance. The venue was also a bit disappointing. People were just able to roam around freely and change their location- were security was I did not see one. Two girls were drunk near a set of stairs and were attempting to dance in heels and almost feel over the railing and down the stairs. I also just wanted a water, but had to walk out of the venue to the casino bar and wait for two bartenders to fulfill orders just get a water. I had such a great experience in 2019. But was very disappointed in this year’s event.

It was a great show more than what I expected it was fun and I love the music and artist we would do it again thank you for the great performance
