    Fred Penner is the best!

by Zad on 12/20/23Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

I watched Fred Penner on TV as a child, listened to his cassettes in the car with my family and sang along. When I had children I sang them the songs and we listen to his music in the car too. It was sucha delight to see him live and the way he interacts with the crowd and kids is always so fun! We will go see him every time he comes. Even my pre teen was loving it! Thanks for all your family fun and happy memories Fred Penner!

We enjoyed the reactions of our grandchildren.

by Chuck on 12/20/23Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Our grandchildren sat up straight when Fred told them to. They paid attention during the show and sang along with some of the songs. We all enjoyed the music and especially the bells ringing.

    Best Christmas concert ever

by Waldo on 12/15/21Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Seeing Fred Penner with our grand daughters was a delight. It was so special to see his children as well with him and grand children made it even better. He is one of the best children’s entertainers and adult especially at Christmas time of all time. He involves the audience, talks to the children and you just feel his spirit and enthusiasm for entertaining. Wonderful event!

    Pleasantly Surprised!

by NicoleR on 12/15/21Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

I attended the concert with my niece but I was surprised to also be thoroughly entertained! Fred Penner is a gifted vocalist and amazing guitar player which was very entertaining but the unexpectedly great part was his "back up" singers. The family and friend were incredibly talented and the harmonies were tight. The whole group of Fred, family, and band members are so cohesive and the music included old favorites and standard Christmas songs so there was definitely something for everyone. He is back in June and I see another concert in my future!

    Worth seeing!

by JC on 3/2/20Algonquin Commons Theatre - Ottawa

Fred Penner has a gentle manner that the audience young and old appreciates. He connects easily with his audience. His songs draw from a rich history of music. He sang old favourites from the 1920's and 1930's as well as his well know tunes like the "Cat Came Back". The children were very comfortable with his stories and song.

    Amazing!!

by David on 12/18/18Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Went to the concert with my wife and nearly 4 year old daughter. It was her first ever concert and she was totally into the music and his performance the entire time! Was wonderful to see as I grew up listening to his music and watching him on Fred Penney’s Place. I hope he comes back again
