It has been 2 long years waiting for his return. He kept us entertained during the pandemic with weekly concerts from his living room and now he and Matt are back. Opening acts, Nathan Gray, and Laura Jane Grace made it a perfect evening. Have been a Frank Turner fan for years, is always a great time. Room was small, staff was great, food and beer on the high side.
As expected and anticipated, Frank turner did not disappopint. Great songs, energy, and great singalongs. Openers were a great selection also. Venue always sounds good too
The show was great. Hampton is always a fun venue, and the bands all out on solid performances. Nathan Gray was a good opener (my first time seeing him) who I would see live again. Laura Jane Grace and Frank Turner always kill it, and this night was no different; they both put on great sets.
Fantastic show! Frank Turner makes everyone in the crowd feel like they are part of something bigger, a community. The venue was perfect for the show. Great music, great people, great venue, great experience.
Next to Brooklyn Bowl this is probably my favorite venue for live music. Whether you’re inside with the crowd or outside chilling with the many scattered fireplace pits, the sound is A+. Great venue. Have seen Frank Turner here twice and he never fails to deliver.
Amazing performance as always by Frank Turner. He is back doing what he does with excitement and fun. The venue was the perfect size for an intimate show that rocked.
The venue was easy to get to, had plenty of parking that was well lit and seemed safe. Plenty of floor space for general admission, plus a few tables. (The tables were pretty wobbly and prone to movement when people started crowding and dancing.) GREAT SHOW. Enjoyed Nathan Gray as opening act - downloaded some music by him. Frank Turner (and Matt Nasir on mandolin!) were excellent as always. Played a few songs I’ve never heard live before, despite attending at least a dozen shows :). Excellent first post-vaccine show!
I really love this venue. It’s open and not too crazy. Frank Turner did another amazing show, this time acoustic, and if you’re a fan you really need to see him live. You won’t be disappointed
Great venue - clean. Friendly staff. Loved the firepits outside. Ample parking. Great show!
Great high energy show. It was a blast, Frank Turner always shows up
I've seen Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls many times and will go to see them every time I can! This show was slightly different than normal. It was acoustic and more of a story telling evening and it was fabulous. By the time the evening comes to an end, I am always sad but NEVER disappointed! If you have never seen Frank live, you must! You won't be disappointed either!
Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls are one of the hardest working and most talent acts is music today. He/they never disappoint. On a side note, this venue has some of the best acoustics I have heard.
Huge FTHC fan, and this was a great show. Like an old-school MTV Unplugged set with lots of storytelling and some songs from the archives I've never heard live before.
Frank Turner put on a great show. The opening act was good too. The seating arrangement was horrible. The seating isn't tiered so I was constantly shifting so that I would avoid looking at the back of people's heads. For people with disabilities, it would be very difficult for them to access. There are no handicap restrooms. Great show, lousy venue.
Concept concert was a little unexpected, but still a treat! Was expecting a typical high energy Frank Turner rock show, but was pleasantly surprised by an acoustic story tellers show instead. Great tales about the inspirations for the new album tracks and showcasing his vocal and guitar work too. Second half of the show brought out the band for more acoustic versions of older songs. Still ended with the crowd dancing and singing along. Fun night!
So happy this tour came to Minneapolis. We are so lucky! This show was fantastic!!! Including opener Kayleigh Goldsworthy, she is a gem!💎 It was sooo weird that we were sat for most of the sets but what an amazing way to experience the new Frank Turner No Man's Land tunes and Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls music all over again. Frank dusted off a few oldies and shared stories. If you're hesitating, and I don't know why you would, stop it and go get your tickets! It was worth every penny for this exquisite, intimate experience. Omigosh, "I Am Disappeared" was so powerful that I felt all those feels and choked up. Why are you still reading this? Stop and go get those tickets! Thank you so much Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls - Nigel, Tarrant, Ben, Matt et all. My hubby & I will never forget this show. ♥ - RSW
First, Frank Turner is an amazing musician. With that said- he rocks...so my husband and I were kicking ourselves for not getting any ear plugs to save our eardrums whatever hearing we have left at 45. We didn’t need them- the sound was perfection- it was perfect to hear Frank’s poetry in music and storytelling perfection. I’ve seen Frank Turner and the sleeping souls 4 times now, and this definitely was the best venue . Awesome show!
Once again Frank did not disappoint. His talent is not only music its entertainment. His stories amd words keep you interested and it truly feels like he wants to be there. I would also like to compliment him on an act of kindness, that night. I was in the line outside and then again at the Merch table behind a teenage girl and her family who had just gained an interest in his music because of No man's Land. She drew a picture of him and brought a copy for him to keep and a copy for him to sign. Later on I noticed it was back on the Merch table and was signed. On behalf of all fans I thank him and appreciate the kindness. Frank truly great to experience. The Venue like most charges too much for drinks. $5 for the cup and $10 for the 12 ounces of beer inside. The cup price is ridiculous. you were able to refill the cup, but it just seems so expensive. $1 for the reusable cup seems more than fair.
An absolutely amazing show. Great acoustics and easy access to the theatre from anywhere in NYC. Balcony seating was good - not great - because rows aren’t staggered, so views were tough with someone’s head in front of me!
