About

FRANK. The Man. The Music. on Tour

FRANK The Man The Music... starring Bob Anderson, is a perfectly executed theatrical production honoring Frank Sinatra...the greatest saloon singer that ever lived and his enormous contributions to The Great American Songbook.

Anderson's 'tribute' to Sinatra is a musical masterpiece...a phenomenal work of musical theatre, dedicated to mastering Sinatra's voice, look and persona. He is the only artist performing today with the complete technical skills to take on a theatrical production of this order. Like Sinatra, his jazz-oriented sense of time is flawless and his diction and intonation are perfect. Nancy Sinatra discovered Bob Anderson at the age of 23 and introduced him to the show business world. He became Nancy's opening act at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas. Nancy brought Anderson with her to the Merv Griffin show for his first appearance on national television. It was Griffin who discovered Anderson's ability to imitate other singers and introduced him to the world as "The Singing Impressionist." Anderson soon became a regular on every talk and late-night variety show to include; David Letterman, Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas, Showtime, HBO, The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, and all the rest, resulting in 196 national and international television appearances. Anderson is the only guest in the history of The Tonight Show with two appearances in the same week. Anderson has worked in more Lounges and main rooms than just about anyone in Las Vegas entertainment history. Anderson is a 3-time "Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year"... award winning artist. He is also a member of "The Casino Legends Hall of Fame" and "The Las Vegas Entertainment Hall of Fame." In 2015, VH1 voted Bob Anderson the #1 celebrity impersonator in the world, an honor that was also given to him by People Magazine.

Nightly, he endures a 2-hour makeup application by Academy Award winning makeup artist, Kazu Tsuji, and Emmy Award winning make-up artist Ron Wild, whose works... border on surreal. From Jennifer Lopez to Tony Bennett and Tom Jones...Bob is the only singer, actor, impressionist who is unanimously endorsed by his peers.

    Excellent Evening

by Gail on 7/4/19Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion - Boston

This music is not around anymore. The performance was excellent as was the venue. We had a person in a walker and the folks were extremely accommodating. Parking was a dream as it was right next to the Rockland Trust venue and just a short walk. Pavilion is an excellent place to see a show. Comfortable seating, accessible bathrooms and great acoustics. It was truly a wonderful event.

    Great experience

by C. L. on 7/3/19Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion - Boston

First the event was not crowded as other events, very fast to enter and go through the gates. People who attended to the event were very nice and polite. The only that I would suggest to the organization is probably put some stand to entertain the people before the event starts, as for example in the sport events. Even is a possibility to advertising other event as jazz music or take pictures with a Bob Anderson cardboard. Bob Anderson is a great artist, if you close your eyes, you think that you are really listening Frank, his show is amazing, and his voice it is awesome. Also I think that the secret is that his musicians has been long time with him, the complement is perfect.

My parents absolutely loved it! They said the show was excellent. The band was wonderful. Bob Anderson was great. They said he had all the mannerisms of the man himself. And all the music. And the talent!

    This was amazing

by Boston Mike on 7/2/19Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion - Boston

I have seen a few Frank Sinatra tribute artist over the years in smaller venues with only a backup band but Bob Anderson and the full 32 piece orchestra which backed him up nailed it. It was amazing how perfect this show was between the venue and the nice warm night combined with a performer who made sure you didn't go home disappointed. I would recommend this show for anyone who loves the big band / swing era music as well as Frank fans.

Show was good, but way too much story telling and not enough music. Medley at end was best part of the show

    Great Show!!!

by jwildman on 7/2/19Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion - Boston

If you are a Sinatra Fan or not, this is a great show filled with music that will never grow old. A professional 32 piece orchestra made up of a few of his regular band and the rest were "locals" who play with the Boston Pops and Boston Symphony, so you know the music is perfect. Bob Anderson stays in character the whole show and reminisces as Frank would do as he sings the best of the best. OK-the tent is a nice venue right on the water but the refreshments were outrageous. $12 or $13 for a large beer? That is ridiculous. The wine and the food were also ridiculous.
