    Amazing

by Sarah on 4/25/23Rainmaker Expo Center - Mashantucket

Made plans w my girl Shay to have a day out and I'm a tequila girl so naturally I wanted to go. Shay and I love tacos to so it was just a great day. We had a blast riding the bull and just seeing all the new drinks and different types of tequila they had. Can't wait to do this again ☺️

Fun! Baum t a place to sit would have made it awesome.

by DJ on 4/25/23Rainmaker Expo Center - Mashantucket

We really had so much fun. The event was set up well, DJ was great, food was good. We tried a bunch of different tequilas. But for the tons of people, there was only 2 picnic tables that seated 6 people each. There was room for plenty more! It was quite frustrating when your hands are full and you want to eat and drink but cannot sit down except in the middle of the floor. It really made it uncomfortable.

    This was great!

by Tequila mami on 4/25/23Rainmaker Expo Center - Mashantucket

I have attended previous events similar to this one here at Foxwoods and I always have a great time! The food was great!! The option to purchase more after using vouchers would have been great! More decor would have been great as well! More photo stations, staff dressed up, this event could have been a real life fiesta!! Dj was great! Overall I had a wonderful time!

by DM on 4/25/23Rainmaker Expo Center - Mashantucket

That was one of the best events in Connecticut in a long time that I have attended! The food was ok but the set up was great!

    Not too bad

by MgnDnawho on 4/25/23Rainmaker Expo Center - Mashantucket

There was plenty of tequilla to sample, the food was excellent. The wait to get to the food was very long though. We waiting for about 30 mins to get food. there should have been more food stations available.

    Interesting

by B on 4/25/23Rainmaker Expo Center - Mashantucket

We attended last years festival and it was amazing!! This year was different.. different hall - less tequila. I did like how they gave you 3 free tacos. No free gifts from the different vendors and a plastic shot glass.

    It was ok.

by Toshiba on 4/25/23Rainmaker Expo Center - Mashantucket

The food line was ridiculous, no vegetarian or vegan options. Highly disappointed in that.

    Ummm...tacos?

by TeeteringonTequila on 5/11/22The Premier Ballroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

This was my first time attending this event. I was excited to say the least! We apparently needed a waiver signed to get into the event (something that could've easily been done online PRIOR to going in). They were not ready with the forms. They had to wait for them to arrive. Then entering this HUGE, HOT ballroom...GREAT atmosphere (other than it being super hot). The food aka TACOS are NOT included with the price of admission. Shouldn't really be named TACOS & Tequila if you have to pay for tacos separately? There were only 4 lines for ALL of the people to get food. I would say we waited 45 mins in line. They were delicious! Some better than others and the food staff did AMAZING! It was definitely NOT their fault this was set up wrong. It was a lousy set up. Either have more stations that offer food, OR have some of the tequila vendors along the line so you can sample while you wait. OR include the food in the price! Most of the wait was for the cards to go through for the food sales. Luckily we were with a group, so we often left the line to get more drinks and come back to our friends. Made it a little more bearable. I feel the $50 to get in was fair for the amount of tequila I had, and the food was good! Next time, we're eating before we head in!

Had so much fun but pacing myself next time I forgot it was 7pm and tequila quickly reminded me of how much I had. But it was fun !

    Terrible

by J. L. on 5/1/22The Premier Ballroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

We were extremely disappointed in this "Taco" and Tequila festival. The lines for the Tequila were so long, waiting 10+ minutes to have one sample. The line for the absolutely terrible food was about 100 feet long at one point! The food was awful. If you planned on eating and then drinking, forget it. We had one sample looked at all the lines, decided we would be drunk in a half hour without real foor, and left. They had 2 taco choices and 4 other choices that were not tacos, nothing for you if you didn't eat beef or pork (NO fish tacos at a taco festival???) and cost 5+ extra $ than you paid for your $50 ticket. Seriously Foxwoods? We ran into many other people/couples at other restaurants that day that went somewhere to eat real food and were just as disappointed in the festival. Never again. We felt ripped off.

by Syl on 4/30/22The Premier Ballroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

This event was amazing and I had such a great time!! I hope they do it again and the set up was perfect. Each vendor had their own space and everything ran well. Would definitely go back if the event is done again. Thank you for a awesome experience!!

    No Tacos Included

by Lo on 4/29/22The Premier Ballroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

Despite the name, tacos were not included in the ticket price! This unfortunately led to crazy lines at each food station. Had to wait for the last hour of event to get in a semi-decent sized line. Mariachi band was awesome but shoved in a corner next to a fooseball table and was competing with the cha-cha-slide that the DJ was blasting.

    Foxwoods Taco & Tequila

by Bjelly on 4/28/22The Premier Ballroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

If possible would give this event 10 stars since there were so many options to try and they were all delicious! All of the brand ambassadors at each table were welcoming, knowledgeable, & fun to each attendee. The only downfall was more than two concessions were needed with the number of people attending. Also the DJ was great and she did a wonderful job of keeping everyone happy while waiting in line for food. But sadly it drowned out the Mariachi Band in the corner which was amazing and perfect for the event too. Overall was one for the books and look forward to coming back to Foxwoods again for the next one!

Tacos and Tequila. But you have to pay for the tacos

by L. G. on 4/26/22The Premier Ballroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

Foxwoods is a mess…. You pay $65 for a ticket to tacos and tequila in a room set at 90 degrees F with a couple dozen low end tequilas and long line to get a drip or two of each and then wait in an even longer line to pay $5 more for a taco… how can you charge for tickets and then charge again? Hard pass

    Terrible - Waste of Money

by Betty on 4/26/22The Premier Ballroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

Was not what I expected. Basically, it was a tequila tasting suited best for a crowd of college kids at spring break. There was no place to sit and you had to wait in very long line for food. And I think you were charged for a taco plate. Can't be certain because we left. I thought the tacos were supposed to be included in the cost. You were given a shot glass to go around a large ballroom to sample tequila straight or mixed drinks. A mixed drink in a shot glass is basically one sip. And then you had to go and wait in line for another one. There was a mariachi band on the floor in the corner of the event space, but I'm not sure why because they couldn't be heard over the DJ who was blasting popular music on a stage with a large dance floor in front of it.

    Expected more.

by Mon on 4/26/22The Premier Ballroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

For an event called “tacos and tequila” the tacos were lacking. To only have 2 concession stands that were mobbed with a line was disappointing. The photo booth was closed before 6pm which was very odd. Idk I expected more for the experience.

    Disorganized Entry,

by Em on 4/26/22The Premier Ballroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

Overall, this event was a good time; however, the organization of entering the event needs significant improvement. There are limited to no signs for where to access and enter the event in the casino- if you were not familiar with Foxwoods already, you are left to your own devices finding the ballroom. When in line, people were told by an employee they needed to access a different line in a different area of the casino to get a wristband; however, when you leave the initial line to go do so, you find out that is not the case and need to return to the orginal line. Additionally, there were no signs regarding the restrictions on what could be taken with you into the event (IE: size of purses). There was one employee at the beginning of the line monitoring this- while some people did get stopped and told to get out of line and put bags elsewhere, multiple people were able to just sneak in while the one employee was talking with other attendees. Once in the event, things were more organized. Lines were formed for the different stations and everything went smoothly; however, the irritation of a disorganized entry process needs to be improved.

    Poorly executed

by CH on 4/26/22The Premier Ballroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

Extremely poorly executed event. "Tacos and Tequila" - tacos required obscenely long waits and overpriced. Taco tastings should have been included in ticket price, as expected based on event title. Terrible
