This was my second time seeing this band. It’s an awesome show with great vocals and great musicianship. Highly recommend seeing these guys if you are able

We saw Fortune on Friday, April 15th at Blue Ocean. They put on an incredible show and we enjoyed every minute. It was a great mix of cover songs and they sounded amazing. Can’t wait to see them again.

From start to finish, Fortune is an incredibly talented and energetic band. It's hard to believe that their Stone Pony Performance on July 10 was their first ever. Every song has an amazing hook, and the vocals (both the lead vocals by JD Fortune, and the backing vocals by Alison-Jane, Tasha, and Melissa) were flawless. The musicianship of all 5 men in the band was readily apparent, and the entire experience left the audience happily spent. I would recommend this show to anyone who likes a high-energy, gritty, bluesy rock experience.

JD Fortune and his band brought the house down hard! They played an eclectic mix of rock and R&B. Fortune's vocal range was broad, and his stage presence magnetic. JD's movements on stage were reminiscent of Elvis and Jagger. Fortune has selected an ensemble of musicians and back up singers that are tight and excellent in their own regard, without overwhelming Fortune's voice. Check them out when they come to a venue near you.

What a fantastic show from beginning to end. It is hard to believe that this was only FORTUNE's first show, because the band sounded like they had been playing together for a long time. JD Fortune is an awesome singer and performer. You can feel the passion and emotion that he puts into every note. I can't wait to see them perform again and to buy their CD when it comes out.

Great show. JD Fortune is the quintessential performer -- terrific vocals, great stage presence -- and his new band does everything right to back him up. A mix of mostly new songs, and a few beloved Doors and Johnny Cash covers thrown in. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND seeing FORTUNE if they tour near you!
