FORTUNATE YOUTH IN CONCERT:
Fortunate Youth are a blast to watch in concert as they deliver animated live performances that showcase their blend of classic dub and surf reggae. All six members demonstrate stunning artistry with strong melodies, boisterous guitar solos, island-inspired percussion, and nifty vintage organ sounds. Especially captivating is frontman Dan Kelly, whose unique voice is raspy, soulful, and passionate as he belts lyrics that advocate a sunny state of mind. With feel-good favorites like "Sweet Love", "Positive", and "Peace, Love and Unity" propelling their sets to epic heights, Fortunate Youth always treat ticket buyers to a blissful concert experiences they won't soon foret.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
In 2009 six members from two different Los Angeles-based reggae bands -- Rudeboy Roots and Irie State of Mind -- teamed up to form the supergroup Fortunate Youth. They made their recording debut with the 2010 EP Up-Lifted before releasing their first full-length album, 2011's Irie State Of Mind. In 2012 they toured heavily alongside acts including The Expendables, Tribal Seeds, Dirty Heads, and The Wailers, earning a reputation as a must-see live band. A year later they released their critically acclaimed sophomore album It's A Jam, a rootsy collection of reggae tracks with that rose to No. 1 on Billboard's Reggae Charts and iTunes' Reggae Charts. With a new album in the works and a rapidly growing fanbase, Fortunate Youth continue to deliver joyous and unmissable live performances.

Place is awesome and the music, FORTUNATE YOUTH! !!!! Uwon't be disappointed
Fuego! Great show! Lots of love in that room both from the crowd and clearly from the stage!
From the first opening act until the last song from Fortunate Youth, this show was one of the best I've ever seen!!!!! Fortunate Youth is simply amazing!!!!
This is the first Fortunate Youth show I've been to but it certainly won't be the last. The Culture Room is an awesome venue that doesn't offer any bad views of the stage. The stage was cramped for the number of musicians and their various instruments but it worked. Excellent collaboration for the last 2 songs of the Youth set, not to be missed. 5 acts performing in one night for $15 can't be beat! The Culture Room security just needs to lighten up some.
One of the best expierences of my life, love those guys and the rock live!
Fy is amazeballs! They rock it every time. I was very fortunate to hang out with them before the show. So down to earth and mellow can't wait for them to come back.
If you want to enjoy a good vibe, island feel, and bands that sound exactly the same as they do on spotify, live go see these groups. Miami needs to get on board with this reggae vibe.
