Was there on the first day, only got to see 20 minutes.
So disappointed about cancelled practice on 11/16, fp1 & fp2.. after paying high ticket price and no refund is sad…
The vegas F1 weekend was an awesome experience. I've watch F1 on TV for many years but to see them zoom by at over 200 MPH was on another level.
Hands down the best sporting event I’ve been to! With the hiccups on Thursday they recovered amazingly to prove the media and haters wrong!
We paid way too much for this experience, (F1 Las Vegas) This was the First and the last time we went here.. Thursday was a very very disappointing day with no compensation or whatever , Friday and Saturday were ok.
Skybox tix...luxury and world class food...no bleacher seats..great view of front straight and pits.will be booking for next year
Practice run 1 and 2 was a mess. Then getting kicked out after paying so much...all bad. I was hoping for it to be extended of be open for practice run 2 but unfortunately not. I paid a lot to be there and attend the 1st night and as many have heard, people were kicked out. This left a really weird and bad taste for it being my first ever gran prix. You can't redeem or try to make it better for me or other people. What else could be done? Who knows?
F1 did a great job, from the competition to the safety aspect. My whole family came including my 8 yr old girl and my 17 yr old son....Vegas F1 came through and did not let any of us down!
I had great seats for the entire weekend, unfortunately the first practice session was a complete disaster but overall the even was a blast!
Had an awesome time at the race. FP1 was a bummer but not a complete buzzkill as the rest of the weekend was spectacular
F1 did a great job setting up the different seating sections, creating an app for information, hiring lots of friendly and knowledgeable service workers, signage, building sturdy seating, etc. Despite not getting to see more than 8 minutes of FP1 and nothing of FP2 overall good experience. Areas for improvement: the included food was appetizers, was hoping for higher quality, but still good; drinks were very expensive if not drinking included water and pop. Merchandise was double, hats and tee shirts around $80 each. We sat in the main grandstands so we got to see everything. I would think up to $1500 was a reasonable price for grandstand experience. We paid a little more a year ago when all the hype created FOMO. If you sat somewhere else along the track with no pit views and paid more than $500 I would see it as a waste after seeing what you get and see. Overall good experience, but I hope prices in future match what you get. Grandstands opposite pit lane is my recommendation for place to be to get most racing action for your dollars.
It was so special to have my first Formula 1 race be the inagural Las Vegas Grand Prix. F1 obviously put a ton of thought, effort, and money into making this a success. Better logistics for walking and rideshare along with more reasonable pricing would be my only suggestions moving forward. Like attending most sporting events in-person, I can't wait to watch the race on TV to see everything we missed. Viva Las Vegas!
The Formula 1 experience exceed my expectations. Not only was the event fabulous, it was well organized and executed perfectly. Ticketmaster experience was smooth and seemless. Access through the F1 app was great.
Great event one of the best! Great seats, only recommendation would be show more replays on the sphere and start earlier.
Overall the event was good. Thursday was disappointing that we could not watch more than 9 minutes of action. But Qualifying and the race were fun and exciting. The food was decent, but in talking to people from other seating zones, I felt they could have rotated the food choices from zone to zone on the different days.
If tickets were half the price, this would be a higher review. The promoters saw an opportunity to line their pocketbooks without providing the best experience, and they took it. I can't see that this race will be sustainable in its current form, but I guess time will tell. The venues were fine. Seats were relatively comfortable. Food was fine. Access was challenging, but not completely unexpected. The decision to kick fans out of FP2 without any compensation is unfortunate. Some of our seats had VERY obstructed views, and this was not at all apparent when buying tickets. I am an avid F1 fan, not a Netflix F1 fan. I've been following F1 for decades. This is by far the closest F1 race to where I live, so I would love to say that I'm going every year. But they need to offer more reasonably priced tickets, or they really need to step up the fan experience. Neither grandstand that we had tickets in was full, and this was the inaugural race with an amazing amount of hype. But the product for even a loyal F1 fan was not close to what it should have been for the price. I'll only go next year if I can get an equivalent experience for half the price or less. I want this race to be successful, but I can't support what they provided to the fans.
It was worth the money for sure. Being there in person to watch it Live is a lifetime of memory. Would go again.
Loved everything except for Thursday, didn't get to see an extended practice 2 session which was to make up for the 9 min practice 1 that got canceled early due to track issues. Seems silly for how expensive everything was. Food was ok but nothing to write home about, and there was plenty. Red bull and vodka would set you back $20 + tip. Some entertainment wasn't all that but they kept stuff happening so that was awesome! Our seats were good so can't complain there. Not sure if I would do it again based on this year, was special due to inaugural year! Went with my son and that made it all the more special!
Poorly planned, poorly laid out, not fan or viewer friendly at all.
This inaugural event was a fantastic place to be and to be part of it was amazing. It got off to a rocky start with the first practice session being cancelled after 9 mins because they did not prepare the track correctly. Second Practice was delayed and then at the last minute closed to Spectators and run behind closed doors. this for me was a sore point as we had paid for a 3 day ticket and we missed out on 1 of those days. F1 compensated people who had purchased 1 day tickets with $200 voucher for Merchandise. which was good to see but have really failed to communicate any process for people who purchased 3 day tickets. this has left a sour taste in my mouth and left a black mark on an otherwise excellent event. The Food served by Wolfgang puck was fancy but being cold it lost it's appeal. with the temperature being cold, we needed a warm meal to warm us up. we didn't get that at the Food stalls. After the first experience we decided to eat a good meal before we went into the venue. Free soft drinks and water were welcome but Red bull was not free. The allocated seat I had was broken and leaning to the side for the duration of the three days. i reported to the staff but they didn't manage to fix it for any of the days. an expensive seat at $2500 The entertainment was excellent also with some really great bands. The DJ's were not to my liking as just too trance for my taste. more akin to a very late night dance den. Just not a great experience. Most people i spoke too thought the same. I really enjoyed the race and for me it really made up for a lot of the shortcomings of the event in other ways. would recommend but be prepared for a less than par standard for most things apart from the race on raceday.
