About

Foo Fighters have been the standard bearer of mainstream rock for three decades, starting with their origins as a solo project for Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl in 1994 to the band’s first-ballot induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021 and beyond. Across 11 studio albums, 10 have charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200, including two No. 1 debuts for 2011’s Wasting Light and 2017’s Concrete and Gold. Seven of their records have been RIAA-certified platinum. The band also boasts one of the richest rock catalogs, topping the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart 13 times and making major impacts on the Hot 100 chart with singles like "Learn to Fly," "Times Like These," "Best of You" and "The Pretender." Foo Fighters have also established themselves as a global force with over 43 million albums sold worldwide and almost 5.9 million tickets sold as of 2022, according to Pollstar. Led by Dave Grohl, Foo Fighters are composed of Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee and Josh Freese, who joined the band in 2023 as the replacement drummer for Taylor Hawkins, who died in March 2022.

    blown away

by happy124 on 5/20/11Verizon Arena (formerly Alltel Arena) - North Little Rock

The absolute best concert I have ever attended. The Foo fighters blew the roof off the place. They played an astounding 30 plus songs. They played their hits, lots of stuff off of the new CD, and even 3 or 4 covers. They were all about putting on a great show. Word to the wise, they are loud! The loudest concert I have ever attended. They have left me with a great concert experience. I can't wait to see them in the future. Don't miss motorhead or Biffy clyro both did outstanding, so show up to see them.

    FOO FIGHTERS!!!!!!!!!!

by harrymurdock on 5/20/11Verizon Arena (formerly Alltel Arena) - North Little Rock

The Foo Fighters once again delivered the goods on stage. The music was very technical and sounded fantastic. Dave Grohl's stage presence is second to none. I would recommend a Foo Fighters show to anyone that owns a rock n' roll CD.

Foo Fighters - The Best Concert Ever

by DalCowFan44 on 5/20/11Verizon Arena (formerly Alltel Arena) - North Little Rock

I've been to a lot of concerts and I can without a doubt say that this was the best concert I've ever seen. From purchasing the tickets, to ease of moving around the arena, and finally the showmanship of the Foo Fighters. I took my 17 year old daughter with me and we both were highly satisfied with the performance. I would recommend all rock fans try and catch one of their live performances.

    foo fighters

by spunkmasterflex on 5/20/11The Palace - It's all Detroit!

All I can say is...COBO HALL DETROIT MICHIGAN! First off,I was on the mid-side of the stage in the 4th row. I had a pretty fair view,I never noticed the stage came out 40 feet like a runway untill Dave was screaming in my face 20 feet away. The set list pretty much sounded like my I Pod,AMAZING. After 40 mins of pure bliss I thought it was over...BAM! The set kept rolling and the FOO played strong for well over a hour. I was looking at my tour t-shirt last night thinking about the good times STILL to come. At 10:00AM this morning I got my 6th row seats before all the sklps did and I'm looking forward to SEPTEMBER...! Thank god for the FOO and keeping rock alive! If it wasn't for them,I would be dragged to watch crappy bands like Godsmack,Fly Leaf,A day to remember ect... BE SURE TO SEE THE SHOW!

Foo Fighters, worth the five hour drive!

by Anonymous on 5/20/11Verizon Arena (formerly Alltel Arena) - North Little Rock

Solid three hour show, AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. They played almost every song off the new album plus most of their major hits, and did a few cover songs. Completely quality show. If I could do this again every night for the next two weeks, I would. The Verizon Arena in Little Rock was a great venue as well. Security was super nice, they brought us water at the two hour mark haha.

    Foo Fighters ROCKED!

by troush on 5/20/11Verizon Arena (formerly Alltel Arena) - North Little Rock

This was the best Foo Fighters show I have seen yet! They played a mix of there classics and stuff from their new release (Wasting Light) for nearly 3 hours! They put on a highly intense and energetic show and Dave Grohl once again proves that he is a terrific front man.

    Foo Fighters kick ass!!!

by CBruce on 5/20/11Verizon Arena (formerly Alltel Arena) - North Little Rock

Over 25 song setlist spanning their 16 years. The interaction with the crowd was great. They opened the show with "Bridges Burning" off of "Wasting Light" and took us on a musical journey that included a 3 song acoustic set by Dave Grohl and then they ended the show with "Everlong". I had my wife and 2 kids(16 and 10) with me and all were very impressed. We will definitely make plans to see them again ASAP.

Foo Fighters with Motorhead was a great show.

by LittleRockFan72 on 5/20/11Verizon Arena (formerly Alltel Arena) - North Little Rock

Foo Fighters were terrific. Dave Grohl, besides being a good guitar player and singer, and a great songwriter, was a real master at entertaining a crowd. You didn't have to worry they wouldn't play your favorite song; they played around 3 hours, so all the songs got played!

Foo Fighters, Little Rock, AR 5/18/2011 BEST EVER!

by Kireau on 5/20/11Verizon Arena (formerly Alltel Arena) - North Little Rock

I really have to admire their work ethic! they just keep playing and playing long after your body is sore from jumping up and down in place over and over for hours! I was in heaven. The encore went on forever, about 10 songs with a few covers- Alice Cooper Schools Out and another of Queen. several acoustics including Skin and Bones. I travelled from Houston to see them as they only have six USA dates before Europe. I cant wait for August when they come home for more USA shows, hopefully Houston, cuz i will be there!
