    Very good show

by houseofbluesviewer on 3/13/13House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

I had a great time at this concert. I really enjoyed Stars in Stereo and Flyleaf and even Drowning Pool, all bands were professional and a good show. I was bummed to learned that Flyleaf changed their lead singer and they ended their show rather abruptly which I didn't care for, but overall a good time. Four out of five stars.

I thought I could tolerate Drowning Pool in order to hear a much better band, Flyleaf. But Drowning Pool put on a disgusting display of ignorance with their lack of talent both lyrically and musically. I've been to several metal and hardcore shows and I have never in my life seen such pathetic douche bags onstage. Flyleaf managed to save it, but drowning pool put such bad taste in my mouth I was unable to enjoy the rest of the show. I'm not sure why these two bands are traveling together since they are clearly spreading two totally different messages.

First concert of what shall be many

by Andrey2790 on 3/12/13House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

The opening band, Stars in Stereo, was amazing and brought a lot of energy with them. I really they played more. But after them Drowning Pool continued on with a lot of interaction. Flyleaf was great and played songs from their past which I very much enjoyed. Kristen May did a great job of interacting with the people and wasn't afraid to walk with the fans while singing.

    Flyleaf was AMAZING

by chrissymarieSLP on 3/12/13House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

What an awesome show! Drowning Pool was so-so, but Flyleaf really brought it! Their new singer, Kristen May, is an excellent edition to the band.

    Drowning Pool was awesome

by Oso413 on 3/12/13House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

Stars in Stereo the opening act was awesome, recommend that the rock nation check this guys out. Next up was Drowning Pool, they rocked the house and put on an exciting and energy felt performance. Flyleaf closed the show and were amazing. Recommend this show to everyone.

    Flyleaf was Amazing

by NatyKedzy on 3/12/13House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

This concert only involved two bands: Flyleaf and Drowning Pool. These bands were amazing, to say the least, but spending over $70 for two bands was not worth it.

    Solid rock show!

by heavyandmelodic on 3/12/13House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

My only gripe is that Flyleaf's set was too short at just an hour. Drowning Pool went on before them (I dunno why cause Drowning Pool's been around longer and is pretty level with Flyleaf in terms of sales I'd think) and played 1 hour and 10 minutes. But overall, it was a good rock show. Both bands brought good energy. It's not the same with the new singers but they held their own for the most part. Good mix of old and new songs were played and was also good to see Flyleaf for the first time. They definitely don't just stand around on-stage hahaha! All in all, a good time was had!

    I loved Flyleaf!

by Anonymous on 3/9/13Irving Plaza powered by Klipsch - New York

The venue was small, so it had really good views of the stage. Also, the coat check was convenient. Flyleaf rocked! Their new lead vocalist, Kristen May, fit right in. Powerful and emotional (and I love how much she danced). The music was strong.

    Flyleaf was great

by REDy2rock on 3/9/13The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

I loved Lacey, the former singer for Flyleaf, so I wasn't sure what to expect from the new singer, Kristen May. I was definitely impressed. She sounded amazing!

Flyleaf and Drowning Pool were amazing!!

by theUltimateKNOME on 3/6/13The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

It was one of the best nights of my life. All three bands put on such an amazing show. And Mike Luce from Drowning Pool even came to hang out with us after the show. Plus he gave me a drumstick. It was so much fun. I know I'll never forget this day.

    by Phatt1000 on 3/6/13Chameleon Club - Lancaster

The opening bands were very good. Drowning pool was spectacular and I would absolutely go and see them again! Flyleaf was also very good but not as good as drowning pool.

    Saturday, March 2nd 2013

by RavenKnight on 3/5/13The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

I was the first. One to get to The Fillmore in Silver Spring. It was great! I was in the center of the front row. The first band to come out was stars in stereo. The guitarist was making faces at my camera as the show continued. Then drowning pool came out and jasen was throwing water at me and pointing at me. I then recorded CJ Pierce and he asked me if I could catch his guitar pick. I said yes but this guy smacked it out of my hand. CJ got mad and told the security guard to give it to me specifically!! So I got the pick! Then Flyleaf. Came out and Kristen held my hand and sang to me!!!!! When It was over I went to the stars on stereo signing and the guitarist said he remembered me from when I was in the front row and he was making faces at me!! I was shocked! I got pictures with them and then said my goodbyes. I went to the drowning pool signing and got 2 pics with jasen and a pic with mike the drummer. It was amazing and I can't wait to see them again!!

Great experience for my first time at The Filmore

by FedesGirl on 3/4/13The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

All the staff was friendly and helpful. The coat check was very convenient. The bar was fast. I wished the drinks were a little more affordable though. Maybe some drink specials? Overall, great sound from the bands and fun night out. I honestly wished Drowning Pool was the headliner instead of Flyleaf. Flyleaf was great, but Drowning Pool was better.

Drowning Pool/Flyleaf were all about the fans!

by daspyke on 3/4/13The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

We got there early and since I'm only 11 and my sister and her friend are kind of short, some really big guys that were in front of us let us go in front of them, so we were right up front. They let our dad join us too. Really nice people at the show! It was first show at a small venue (I've been to a lot of big concerts) and I thought the experience was incredible. Both bands interacted with the audience, slapping hands, punching fists. They even handed us picks (both bands). I got to crowd surf twice. Way cool! Their singers were both amazing and they played awesome sets. After the show, members of both bands were available for photos and autographs. Really showed how much they appreciated their fans. They also gave us copies of their setlists!

    Flyleaf and Drowning Pool

by FeelsLikeSunday on 3/4/13The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

The opening band was good. I was surprised when Drowning Pool played before Flyleaf. There's a lot of controversey over the lead singers to both bands. But I thought both bands as a whole did an awesome job. I would go see both bands again, and I feel like I got value for the money I spent. It was also a very cool moment when the drummer for Drowning Pool came down to meet the crowd after the set. Just a down to earth cool guy, who just so happens to be in a kick-ass rock band.
