Florida Orchestra Tickets

We are truly blessed to have Michael Francis and the Florida Orchestra here in the Tampa Bay area. Ours is a world class team of professionals flawlessly performing magnificent and timeless music and on Saturday they touched the audience’s souls with The Messiah. Michael Francis connects with the audience and community as he brings such richness to these performances. From his pre concert discussions about the evening’s music to the audience participation as we all take part in the Hallelujah chorus. What an absolutely joyous and wonderful evening! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The Florida Orchestra NEVER disappoints. As a former member of the Master Chorale, singing behind these incredible musicians is an unforgettable experience. Messiah was absolutely wonderful.

I would not have paid as much as I did to watch the movie on a big screen I thought there would be live animation and a screen with a movie My fault, however that was not anywhere in the description Otherwise the Orchestra was great!

I really didn't know what to expect. However when the orchestra started playing the soundtrack to the movie it was like being right in the middle of the movie. The night was magical.

Awful. Do not recommend. The movie played louder than the orchestra and the conductor stood in the way of the screen subtitles. In addition, nobody stopped the row behind me from making a ridiculous amount of noise the entire show.

My family and I had not been to the Florida Orchestra and my daughter just joined her schools band, so I thought this would be a wonderful experience. I didn’t really know what to expect. We bought tickets to The Grinch Stole Christmas and I just thought the orchestra would play a few songs from the movie. Little did I know we would be watching the entire movie while the orchestra plays the instrumental parts of the movie. It couldn’t have been more perfect! My kids really enjoyed the show and the orchestra played so beautifully! We will definitely be coming back for another show!

This was not a play . It was a big screen showing of the Grinch with live music smh . We could have seen this on Netflix WITH SURROUND SOUNDS. So many people walk out . Why would you do this to us ?I personally seen a little girl next to me cry . To pay 100 dollars or 75 for this was insane . By intermission almost all of the people went home angry . I was as well as this was a special date night.

This was truly an amazing show. The composer, orchestra, rapper, & vocalist were all phenomenal. I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Classical and contemporary music….what a wonderful mixture!!!!

The Florida Orchestra paired with the cirque elements was so much fun! Everyone let the inner child surface! I tell my friends not only was it fun…I got some culture without eating yogurt! 😂🤣😂🤣

The concert was advertised ss Holst Planets but the whole first half was an avant-garde percussion group with our skilled orchestra musicians playing background to xylophone players. Almost walked out.

I had the best time. The orchestra was amazing. The whole thing was great.

Absolutely loved bridging the "classical" with the contemporary. Everybody in the audience absolutely loved it and its a great way to get younger folks out to keep the appreciation for orchestras of this caliber alive!

Who would have thought that a mash up of Beethoven's Eroica and Coldplay music would create a magical evening? The only misstep was including the song Princess of China kne of Coldplay's weakest songs. It did not fit. The finale was fabulous ...Vive la Vida

Moving. Powerful, exciting, poignant. The combination of Coldplay with Beethoven was superbly done. Thank you musicians and conductor!

From the moment Tony Desare started singing with the Florida Orchestra at the Mahaffey Theater in St Petersburg Fl we were “blown away” by his stellar and incredibly talented performance and was in awe how much he sounded just like Frank Sinatra! The Florida Orchestra gave an equally outstanding 5 star performance (as always) Concert was so good i cannot stop bragging about it to people!!

The performance of the orchestra was perfect and beyond belief!

My husband and I absolutely loved how talented all of the people in the Florida Orchestra are and their amazing costumes! The conductor was incredible at explaining what music was being portrayed and from which movie of both the Harry Potter and Star Wars series. Lastly, we loved that the conductor got two volunteers in the crowd to perform the special effects! We definitely will watch more Florida Orchestra performances!

Wasn’t sure how they were going to combine the 2, but it was exquisite!! Would definitely recommend to anyone familiar (and even if you are not) to let yourself be transported to the sounds of these two famous titles. Loved every minute. Thank you for such an enjoyable and memorable evening.

They performed Racmaninoff's 3rd Piano Concerto -- known as "the Mount Everest" of piano concertos. It was fabulous - beyond all expectation -- a once in a lifetime superb experience. Such excellence and percision, such passion for the gorgeous music,!
