flipturn makes indie music for endless summers, sun-streaked days, and introspective nights. It's a cinematic sound rooted not only in the Florida towns where the musicians first banded together as teenagers, but also in the anthemic live show that's taken flipturn from coast to coast. In the time since their formation, flipturn has mushroomed to reaches far beyond the walls of the Fernandina Beach garage they first practiced in. Built up by Dillon Basse (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Tristan Duncan (lead guitar), Madeline Jarman (bass), Mitch Fountain (synth), and Devon VonBalson (drums), the band has long prepared for the release of their debut album Shadowglow; a snapshot of a band caught halfway between youthful optimism and adult precision, with songs that target the head as well as the heart.
With over 85 million streams on Spotify alone, countless sold-out headline shows across the US, and tours with Mt. Joy, Rainbow Kitten Surprise and Wilderado, the band has more than proven their place in the indie scene. 2022 saw flipturn join the prestigious lineups of Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, Hangout, SunFest, and Levitate. flipturn recently signed with Dualtone Records to further amplify the release of their debut album, joining their legendary roster of the likes of The Lumineers, Chuck Berry and Shakey Graves.

My husband and I enjoy going to see live bands who write their own songs. Flipturn did not disappoint. They are an incredibly talented group of musicians and the lead singers voice is so unique. Opening for them was another band called Juice. They are also incredibly gifted musicians. The lead singer has an amazing range and their harmonies are unbelievable. I highly recommend seeing both bands!!
These guys were AMAZING!!! Absolutely phenomenal to see in concert! Their energy was great and they gave spot light to all the members! If you have the chance, see them!!! Absolutely worth the drive and money! Great crowd interaction as well :D
High Noon Saloon great venue with good seating up top and a not-too-large general admission floor so everyone has a great time. The band Flipturn is so good. Love their music & performance!! We have seen them twice & would love to see them again!

This was the 2nd time I’ve seen flipturn, first time as a headliner. They are incredible. Great instrumentals and ohh so sweet vocals! 10/10

Great show at the Jefferson theater. Not only were the performers great but so were the staff. The sound systems were great (not too loud) and the band was clearly having so much fun. I highly recommend Flipturn as well as the Jefferson Theater!
Seeing these guys 5 times in 3 months and awesome every time. Excellent drummer and band. Good price for tickets. Lots of fun energy and they’re better live than in studio (tho its still fantastic). However, show is short. Went on stage at 9:15 and encore was over by 10:30. These days headliners typically play for 2 hours. Would love for them to play longer, as they have plenty more favorites that aren’t in rotation (vanilla, churches etc). Still, everyone should buy a ticket to see these guys
I’ve seen Flipturn 3 times now and they’re an absolute joy! Their band has so much chemistry and they put on the type of show that takes you away from all your troubles and I’m so thankful for them and their music :)

The venue was the perfect size, comfortable, and well managed (easily accessible bathrooms and bar space). I showed up after the opener was concluding their show, but Flipturn was fantastic. They sounded great live, the lights and smoke were not over or under-used, and overall my friends and I really enjoyed the show.

My best friend and I have been listing to Flipturn for over and year and we were super excited for this concert. We even made our own shirts for the concert that said “I ❤️ Flipturn” As soon as we left the venue and got to the car we got tickets to see them in Connecticut. They were so interactive with fans and had so much energy. Both my friend and I cried during August because it was the first song we listened to by them and we were so excited to be there. I cant wait to see you guys again in February!!
Honestly one of the best concerts I’ve been too. Unlike other indie bands that haven’t quite figured out their stage presence Flipturn is very comfortable and owns the stage. Dillon has such a distinct voice that you can’t help but sing along with and the way they all interact on stage you can really tell they love what they do.
Flipturn blew the roof off of the Bowery Ballroom. One of the most exciting shows I've been to. Dillon Basse's composition are complex and multi-faceted while accessible and hard driving. The band was as tight as rusted lug nut on a 55 Chevrolet. Amazing. Can't wait to catch them again.
My bandmates from Sue's Garage and I saw Flipturn in Boston earlier this year, and absolutely loved them! So when we heard that they were coming around again to promote their new album, Shadowglow, we were ecstatic. They played all our favorites and put on such an amazing performance. We will gladly see them any time they're performing nearby
