Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana Tickets

Amazingly talented dancers and musicians! It was remarkable how much great music came out of the small group.. The percussionist was fantastic! However, the whole performace would be improved if they had some simple sets and better lighting on the dancers. On the negative side; there was a very bright blue light offstage in the south wings that was very distracting from our seats. The stage manager got it turned off at intermission and for the second half off the performance, the annoyance was gone. He said that nobody knew why that light was on. It wasn't used onstage.

Very enjoyable concert. Only complaints were that at times the music seemed to overpower the tapping sounds from the dancers. Also I did not like the lighting, especially in the opening numbers. The lighting was too subtle and dark, and most of the costumes and the background were dark. This made it impossible for me to see some of the subtle body movements of the dancers, so important to flamenco.

Beautiful dance form!. Captivating and entertaining! .

We were thrilled when we discovered that Carlota Santana and her dance team were visiting Hampton, VA. They performed on a cold dreary Sunday however the dancers and choreography made it feel like we were thousands of miles away in Spain. The colors of the costumes and the non-stop flamenco dancing was beyond what words can describe. I would recommend this show for any age. My 16 year old son sat in his seat the entire time and was in awe from start to finish. The energy and stamina of the dancers was truly inspiring. I do hope they come back to our theater again, but if not, I can assure you that we will be looking to attend another Carlota Santana performance within driving distance. They are AMAZING!!!!

Very nice espectaculo I am from Spain and they take me to my country for a couple hours.
