The show had two sets with the Jubilee Singers with A Portrait Come To Life that tells the story of Fisk and the second set with the Jubilee Singers and special guest. We enjoy both sets but really enjoy the second set with the variety of guest singers
The Fisk Jubilee Singers performed exceptionally as the main act for the first half of the show. The second half featured various guest artists, some of whom rose to the fine level of the Fiskers.

The Fisk Jubilee Singers are so incredibly talented, and clearly enjoy every second of being on stage and entertaining audiences. Their sheer joy is evident in their individual performances and in making music together. The guest performers were excellent additions to the program, and each on sang a poignant gospel song or a relevant song as it related to the 125th year of the Roman Auditorium
Music is truly good when it brings out emotions. This music was TRULY good.

The 2017 Annual Spring Sing was a creative historical telling of the story of the Fisk a Jubilee Singers, along with an inspirational collaboration with some incredibly talented artists. We expected to be entertained, but got so much more.
This has been a bucket list item of mine for many years. They were awesome. They would have been even more awesome if they had performed more on their own without any other performers coming on stage. I wanted just them for the whole evening although I will say that The Fairfield Four and MarQo Patton were fabulous.
As Fisk University celebrates its 150th year, the Jubilee Singers are a reminder of what a great influence the Negro Spiritual has had on every genre of contemporary American music. Coupled with the fine legacy Fisk distinquishes itself for having produced some of the most accomplished leaders of our modern time, the April 9 concert served as a tribute to scholastic and artistic excellence at its very best. Kudos to Director Dr. Paul Kwami and the gifted voices of each member of the Jubilee Singers. Fisk Forever!
