The singers were wonderful. I am a tour guide in Nashville and tell our visitors about the Fisk Jubilee Singers every day. It was great to be able to see and hear them in the Ryman, one of the nations best acoustic auditoriums!
I was uplifted by the Fisk Jubilee Singers. Their performances are still unparalled in this region. They continue to uphold the moniker given to Nashville as Music City.
I left with my heart feeling full. I thought that the group was very professional and Ledisi came out and stole the show!

I am not really an India Arie fan! My girlfriend is HUGE fan of hers so I bought this, along with the meet and greet, as an anniversary gift. What a great gift this was!! Not only did the meet and greet make her cry, due to her being so touched with the whole situation of meeting her musical idol, but the show was incredible. India Arie was fantastic to watch perform live, the Fisk Jubilee singers were so entertaining to watch and Kendall (don't know how to spell her name) blew me away with her talent! I would recommend this show to anyone!! Literally!! Anyone--the diversity of people at this show was quite impressive!! All races and ages regardless of the individual's net worth!! If you are considering attending this show--do it!!
My wife and I have attended many concerts and this was the best concert I’ve ever attended. Perfect and personal setting!
The entire process from the purchasing of the tickets to admission was a breeze. I enjoyed every minute of the show. Be careful when purchasing tickets and take heed when it says obstructed view. If attending a show on a Saturday it is highly advised that you leave early because of traffic.
This was the best!!!!! Singers we on point. Then India comes behind with her soulful sultry runs and light hearted attitude. I bought her album. The jubilee singers sounded great singing back up. Gotta go y'all

Great unbelievable show by the Fisk Jubilee Singers. India Irie didnher thang too put it was the Jubilee singers that killed the show. Only con about the show was the uncomfortable wooden pews.
The Fisk Jubilee Singers are truly gifted individuals. The musicality, poise and professionalism is on point. Well done Dr. Kame! Now, couple that with the music of Ms. India Arie ....AMAZING! I hope the Fisk Jubilee singers will be featured on the new music Ms. Arie is working on. Loved hearing the FJS and Ms. Arie combine their talents.Unfortunately, my video recording was awful so I won't upload it. Plan to attend future events. Did I mention it was a wonderful event.....

We wanted to take in a concert at the Ryman and the Fisk Jubilee Singers fit our schedule. Not really knowing what to expect, we were blown away by the music, the energy and the spirit. We learned about the long history of the music at Fisk University, the Jubilee Singers were outstanding, and The Ryman is truly a magical venue.
These students are gifted. Absolutely stunning arrangements, harmony and timing. Acapella singing at its best.
The evening at Ryman Auditorium proved to be beautiful and unforgettable. The ensemble and guests deserve a standing ovation for great performances throughout the entire concert. Spiritual arrangements did justice to original creations. What a wonderful way to honor the 125th Anniversary of the Ryman by featuring a national treasure such as the renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers
