    Just Keep Swimming

by percusshan on 6/13/10Irvine Meadows / Verizon Wireless Amphitheater - Irvine

i arrived late and saw Run, Kid, Run play- they were good! then we wandered around to see what they had; i got two free concert flyers and cd with people from korn and flyleaf which was pretty cool. we noticed the food was very expensive like theme parks' food and that the lines were really long for most of them. we got funnel cakes that were very tasty because they were fresh. we hiked up to the lawn area to see Barlowgirl and really enjoyed their performance (especially when the girl drummer sang and headbanged!), though we wished we were closer and the lady in front of us didn't stand up. that was the first time i saw/heard the drummer be the lead vocalist! they gave an awesome intro message to Beautiful Ending.we tried to get down quickly to see Thousand Foot Krutch at the rock stage and made it. we managed to work our way closer to the stage as their performance progressed. i like that i didn't have to be in the back like i did at the main stage. i couldn't believe there was a mosh pit! i was tempted to jump in and represent the girls, but i was a bit too scared. i love that band! those were the two bands i came to see, and i was very impressed and blessed to see them. i also turned around once to see Thousand Foot Krutch wallk past me! we followed them and saw that they were signing stuff. i wanted to buy a t-shirt for them to sign, but we didn't want to miss them, so we just got in line. they signed extra fishfest flyers for those who didn't have anything to sign, which i was very thankful for. i got to compliment the guitarist's dreads! =D i got two Not of This World shirts since they were on sale. we walked over to see who was playing on the family stage once and saw a band of high-school kids! they were pretty talented! overall, i had a great time at fishfest, though i wish i had closer seats at the main stage and wish there weren't so many people!

    Amazing

by Zebralegs on 6/13/10Irvine Meadows / Verizon Wireless Amphitheater - Irvine

First time there, wish we had a van, would of brought ten unbelievers. First time whole family at a Christian Concert. Been going to different ones with church and friends. Love the the beads from Uganda are mentioned, has a speciel place in our family. Our daughter went three years ago with Calvary Chapel, brought home beads and got to pay the actual women who made them. Will be coming back and bringing those who need Jesus.

    loud

by thumped on 6/13/10Irvine Meadows / Verizon Wireless Amphitheater - Irvine

Unforgettable! Greg Laurie is tops! Jeremey Camps is awesome. Toby Mac supremely LOUD. Seated in the terrace, I could feel my pant legs moving with the sub-woofers! I think my heart got restarted with the sub-woofer compressions! Way too loud. Speaking of sub-woofers. They seemed to be always present at the main stage area while the acts on the other stages were performing. Kind of distracting.

    A Night of Praise

by DoulosDenny on 6/13/10Irvine Meadows / Verizon Wireless Amphitheater - Irvine

I have attended Fishfest four times. This year was not a music concert but a praise and worship service. It was a great day and night of giving glory to God. I am always amazed at seeing around 14000 Christians rise up in thanksgiving and shout the name of Jesus. Though the performances seem short for the first three artists (about 5 songs each) they chose their material well and pleased the crowd. I'll probably be there next year unless I hear a trumpet in the sky. God Bless Transparent Productions and the Fish. Many Thanks!!!

loved greg laurie as usual....T.H.I.N.K. before you gossssip... is it Truthful? Is is Helpful? Is it Inspiring? Is it Necessary? and is it Kind?:) and just because you go to church doesnt make you a christian just like going to in and out doesnt make you a double double.

    What a blessing

    by Caro562 on 6/13/10Verizon Ampitheater - Irvine

By far this was such an awesome Fishfest! Barlow Girl rocked, encouraged and exhorted the audience. Jeremy Camp came out praising God. Supertones, WOO HOO, rocked and had some worship. I don't remember Fishfest being so spiritual. The weather was awesome too, thank you Jesus!
