This shouldn't be billed as a family friendly events as parents were not allowed to bring in bags with supplies for kiddos. It's cold, we need extra blankets, extra mitts, hand warmers, etc. I didn't even see anyone selling handwarmers. Obviously the people planning this don't have kids.
This was our second year attending. This is a great event for when the weather is "mild". Athletes are incredible and the show itself is fantastic. I'd return to see the athletes. Bonus that families are considered in pricing. Scheduling this year was better for crowds and less down time. Concession choices this year were not as good as last year, however, there were less crowds to work around with smaller children in those areas. Aside from Canadian Brewhouse, concession food was horrible, especially for the prices. Super disappointed as most of our food was cold and had been sitting for too long. To not have parking at an event that includes families in a city that offers unsafe public transit is unacceptable. There is nowhere near the attendance of a concert or a football game for Shredmonton, so the lack of parking doesn't make sense. The facility and amenities were disappointing, but the event/athletes were awesome!
The athletes doing this have to get the biggest adrenaline kick ever. Very impressed with the show first class. Food and concessions a complete rip off. $8.50 for a hamburger. My ice cold coke was warmer, terrible. Souvenirs, great design, but $42.00 for a toque, $53.00 for a t-shirt Ughh!! Again, the set up and athletes were great. Amazing to see live.
Not much to say besides we are definitely going next year, too much fun to be had.
My daughter and I had such a great time at the FIS event. The setup and execution was outstanding, I hope Edmonton does this every year! Staff were outstanding...
Awesome time! Tad chilly that evening needed some heaters or a warm up shack on the field.
Exciting. Unique. Memorable. Grateful to have such an event in our city !

The set up was cool but finding the actual times for events was hard to do It was great for the kids my 6 year old had blast and would do it again
They did a great job showcasing all the riders that were here in Edmonton for the weekend. Put on a real good show with lights music and behind the scene stories. All together was an amazing experience!
