FINNEAS on Tour

Music lovers likely first met Finneas via the songs he cowrote and coproduced for his little sister, Billie Eilish. But the man made it into plenty of homes before her rise with his roles in film and TV — particularly as Glee's Alistair — and that charm and professionalism shows during his concerts. He's been known to sport a three-piece suit on stage, and his onstage setup has often also been limited to three pieces: a mic, a guitar and a keyboard rig (which includes backing tracks for his darkly sparkling brand of electronic pop). Even so, Finneas (often stylized as FINNEAS) has no problem inspiring wild screams from his audiences, who come for some combination of his clean-cut handsomeness, velvety voice and diary-like lyrics about love and lust. After the Los Angeles native became a staple of Eilish's shows, he broke out solo to sold-out gigs on the coasts, festival spots galore and a headlining tour named after his debut EP, Blood Harmony.

FINNEAS in Concert

Finneas Baird O'Connell started writing and producing music at the age of 12, and acting shortly thereafter, appearing in movies like the Cameron Diaz flick Bad Teacher and acclaimed indie film Life Inside Out (which starred his actress mother, Maggie Baird). By 2015, as he turned 18, O'Connell's career seemed to be tipping toward the screen: on the one hand he fronted a pop-punk outfit called The Slightlys who'd won several local band battles; on the other, he had a regular role in the final season of Glee. But then he wrote "Ocean Eyes" for his band and, at the last minute, decided it'd sound best sung by his 13-year-old sister. Billie Eilish became a viral sensation as a result, and Finneas' path was cemented. Over the next few years, he'd cowrite and coproduce the dark and inventive music that would make Billie a star while laying the groundwork for his solo sound — a brighter, soulful take on that minimal, electronic-assisted pop. While his many early singles were overshadowed by his work on her essential debut LP, 2019's When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, Finneas climbed the charts along with Billie, sitting atop Billboard's Hot 100 Songwriters and Producers lists for nine weeks. That more than paved the way for the fall 2019 arrival of Finneas' proper debut, the Blood Harmony EP, named after the sound that siblings can achieve while singing together.

    Even better in person

by monique on 10/28/21The Observatory North Park - San Diego

The entry was much smoother than expected. The line went very quickly, and the staff was very kind. The concert was incredible, with both the opener and Finneas himself being better in person than streaming the songs. They both were also great at connecting with the fans, and Finneas had great command of the stage, his stage presence was incredible.

    Outstanding!

by Kyle on 10/28/21The Observatory North Park - San Diego

Finneas is such a gifted artist and seeing him perform his music live gave me a whole new appreciation for his talent. I'm even more psyched now to see him and his equally gifted sister live in April!

He fell off his piano and almost died

by Jc on 10/28/21The Observatory North Park - San Diego

He jumped off the piano and almost cracked his head . He also told us we were like the mansons and that he could get us to kill some people . Just really weird crude comments he made .

    Finneas at The Wiltern

    by KJ VO on 10/28/21

Saw Finneas at The Wiltern and it was my first concert ever. It was amazing and Marinelli was amazing. Ashe surprised us by singing Til Forever Falls Apart with Finneas. My girlfriend also proposed to me during the concert so the experience was extra special.

    Finneas San Diego

    by T. M. on 10/26/21

Took my daughter to her first concert and that bar will be forever set high! The opening act Marinelli was great even though it was his first Show ever. Really enjoyed his music and I think he will be blowing up soon. Then Finneas came on and put on a phenomenal show! I am a 47 year old guy but it was awesome! He is like Coldplay/Maroon 5/Justin Beiber/Billie Eilish/John Legend and a bunch of others. Great lyrics and great attitude. Lots of energy and with the smaller venue was very intimate experience. One of the best shows I have seen. Had style and everyone in the crowd had a great time! He seemed like a nice guy to hang out with and you wished the evening could have went longer. I wish I could thank him for giving my daughter an evening she will always remember! Could not recommend more!

    Great performance!

by Ami on 10/27/19Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens Bank - Boston

Finneas is even better live than on his recordings! Hes an as- mazing musician and singer. Very charismatic and engaging - the audience was electrified. His opening act, Lauren Sanderson was also excellent, energetic and connected with the audience, as they sang along with her. She deserves more recognition.
