About

Based on the Academy Award®-winning film of the same name, this breathtaking show follows playwright J.M. Barrie as he summons the courage to become the writer - and the man - he yearns to be. Barrie finds the inspiration he’s been missing when he meets the beautiful widow Sylvia and her four young sons: Jack, George, Michael and Peter. Delighted by the boys’ hilarious escapades, Barrie conjures the magical world of Neverland and writes a play unlike any the high-society London theatergoers have ever seen. It’s a tremendous risk, but as Barrie himself has discovered— when you believe, you can fly.

Tony winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Hair) directs this innovative new musical featuring an original score by noted composer Gary Barlow and Grammy® winner Eliot Kennedy, with a book by celebrated playwright James Graham and choreography by three-time Emmy winner Mia Michaels (“So You Think You Can Dance,” Cirque du Soleil’s Delirium). Packed with mesmerizing visuals, irresistible songs and plenty of laughs, FINDING NEVERLAND is a timeless story about the power of imagination… and spectacular proof that you never really have to grow up.

    Such a great show!

by MichelleKatNY on 4/21/15Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

This is my second time seeing the show; I loved it the first time and the second time confirmed that I was right! The music is great, the cast is wonderful and the choreography/staging is showstopping. My husband, who HATES musicals, loved this and couldn't stop talking about it for 3 days! My only complaint is that there isn't a soundtrack recorded yet to purchase... get on it!

    Great for kids

by NJJR on 4/21/15Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

I am a musical nut. This will not go down as one of the greats. I would give it a 7- my one kid gave it a 7.8 the other a 9. I would definitely recommend it as an entre for kids to Broadway. There are many touching and visually excellent moments. Some excellent performance moments as well. No one blew me away. So if you are expecting a musical number that will stick with you forever, probably not the right show. If you want to see your kids have a great experience, I would definitely recommend Neverland.

    Kelsey stole the show.

by Dovey94 on 4/20/15Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

Show was delightful. Matthew Morrison did a great job but Kelsey Grammer had the best part and did it with his usual professional aplomb. Loved his performance. Very enjoyable.

    A Star Is Born

by Allegany on 4/20/15Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

I purchased a discount ticket out of curiosity. I knew little about the show, but wanted to see what would be done with Peter becoming Pan. It was so much more than I expected. How refreshing the plot was, how amazing was the acting, how beautiful the music. I loved it and want to see it again.

    Kelsey Grammer, Matthew Morrison unforgettable!!

by Caro1ina212 on 4/20/15Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

I've seen many Broadway plays and musicals over the years and Finding Neverland is now at the top of my list! You'll laugh, you'll cry and you'll walk away a more cheerful and hopeful person than when you arrived. The dancing and choreography is up there with any Tony Award winning production. Do not miss Kelsey Grammer and Matthew Morrison!

    BEST MUSICAL EVER!!!!

by MusicalLoverNYC on 4/19/15Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

Finding Neverland is one of the best musicals I have ever seen on Broadway -- and I have seen hundreds! The music, choreography, voices, acting, and sets are all just phenomenal! I have seen it twice and cannot wait to return (and really cannot wait for the soundtrack to be released -- the songs are just all so amazimg and memorable!) I laughed and cried so many times throughout this fantastic show -- can't remember another show that ever elicited that kind of an emotional response from me! Truly a masterpiece -- do yourself a favor and just GO!!,

    Neverland will touch your heart

by JoshuaPaul on 4/18/15Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

The first act was a bit slow but set the foundation for one of the best second acts I've ever seen. Laura Michelle Kelly is astonishing in the role if Sylvia. I truly wish she had more to do!! The entire cast is fantastic though and after seeing every other show on Broadway this season, Neverland is the only one to deeply touch me... Due in no small part to Ms. Kelly's performance.

You will talk about this show for a while

by Chicagoscully on 4/18/15Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

I absolutely loved Finding Neverland. The story is engaging and absolutely heart warming. It did not only bring me to tears but also about 80% of the other people in the audience. The staging is simple with some very powerful visual effects at some points. The actors were outstanding and really convincing. I especially loved the music and I've been humming the songs ever since I left the show. If you want to laugh, cry, listen to good music, see some amazing choregraphy then don't miss this show.

by EvelynSanDiego on 4/17/15Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

This was the perfect Broadway show to bring our family to. The music and dancing is unbelievable. We can't stop singing the songs. Our seats though on the side were great. We can't wait to see it again next time we are in New York. What a beautiful and unforgettable evening of theatre.

    Really Good, not Great

by Quadfan on 4/17/15Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

They try really hard to put on a great show, but fall just shy. The singing is a little uneven. Some voices more operatic and others musical theatre. The sets are good and transitions nice. Some of the dancing and choreography seems forced and too staccato. They do a few dry and droll jokes which are good, but eh. It's funny, sad, and poignant at different times. Ends on a nice high note. It's a big Broadway musical. If you like that, you'll enjoy.

An Entertaining Evening For Theatre Lovers

by pecs on 4/17/15Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

Finding Neverland is Wonderful. Please do not listen to the critics. My wife & I loved the show. The whole cast is brilliant, especially Matthew Morrison, who never sounded so good and does a great accent, Kelsey Grammar who delivers the funniest lines better than anyone, the 4 wonderful child actors and the entire troupe who put on the show within the show. I Would be remiss if I didn't tell you that the show is also very moving. As a 67 year old man, I found tears streaming down my face several times . My wife & I are avid theatre lovers and often disagree with the critics. We loved Chaplin, Bridges of Madison County & Merrily We Roll Along all of which did not get the greatest reviews but were loved by regular folk. On the other hand, last evening we saw," On the 20th Century", which the critics loved and which we found boring. That's life. Finally, Mia Michaels- we love your talent and hope that you don't let the critics get you down.
