It was a great afternoon / evening at the Stadium. The atmosphere and the game was fun
Venue was awesome and great seats for not a lot of money
The games were fun to watch. The stadium is showing its age but seats were more comfortable and roomy than these modern stadiums. Concessions should have been better and more choices. Felt I was at any US stadium with Hot Dogs and Bud. The Poutine was the only thing that was remotely Canadian.
Games were great. Venue was awful: out of date, dark, bad food, not enough restrooms
Both of these games were fantastic! I came for USA, but was glad to see Sweden play Nigeria. The only complaint that I have is that there were not enough merchandise booths - there was a HUGE line about halfway around the stadium, so I didn't buy anything. Would definitely go to another FIFA match though, so much fun!
Great game! good energy from the crowd especially from the Korean and Brazilian fans
Great games of soccer with a buddy of mine! Loved it!
I have to say these were two AMAZING matches to watch! Seats were great and so was the crowd.
Double header was really excellent value and both games were great to watch. Stadium is set up well to watch soccer and transportation via metro was very convenient (long lines purchasing metro tickets leaving stadium though). Food at stadium was not all that great. Considering no re-entry between games, more healthy and better quality options could have been made available, possibly outdoor tented eating area. Entertainment before and between games was good and extremely family friendly. Overall very pleased.
Had an awesome time in Montreal with a 6 kids and 4 adults! Great sporting event and city to tour around!
This venue is beutiful. A little old so it has character but it is clean. The ambiance was electric and the soccer was world class. I love getting seats that are diagonal to the pitch so I can see a dimension you do not get on TV. Highly recommended.
Anyone who's gone to Stade Olympic knows what I'm talking about. One swarming crowd entrance (not multiples, like a normal stadium). No working scoreboard. $10.50 for a can of Budweiser. Sat in section 259. So far from the field. They didn't open the upper deck (which is better view).
The Olympic Stadium was a great venue. Traveling was easy. I expected a lot of traffic and hours of waiting to get in and out, but everything went very well. The Korean Fans were fun to watch and brought a lot of positive energy to the event. A few problems with the concession stands (very long line & wait), broken machine and not having change (I gave the place 1.50 because I wanted to get back to the event and not wait for them to return with the change).
Somehow the Fifa Canada committee after.4.years of.planning thought it.was.a.good.idea to.force 28000 fans.thru 1 gate and an unaircondioned rotunda. 40% of fans.missed at.least 20 minutes of.the game. Brutal...
This was well worth the drive. The weather was phenomenal. The stadium was well cared for and even though our seats were up high, we had a terrific view of the field. We were shaded the entire game which my family appreciated and the atmosphere was fun throughout the whole day. I loved that the stadium had water bottle refilling stations which were very popular. They could have had 10 more of them though as the lines were long. Food was good for stadium food and the bathrooms were well cared for. I would just suggest more fan zone POS and water filling stations. Otherwise, it was perfect!
The stadium attendance was below 80% of capacity, but the lines for food and souvenirs were constantly log. Getting to the stadium took advanced planning, as there were very few signs. Also had to scout to exit at the right exit. I'm glad it was daylight even after the event to help from getting lost.
With any event, it is always amazing to be with fans who are routing with you. The American spirit was great to see. The venue (field) was amazing, and the game was great, even though we tied. We sat at the top, but still had an amazing view. On a sour note. There was only one fan shop, so if you don't want to stand in a three hour line, then buy your gear elsewhere. We went during half-time and all US merchandise was sold out. I didn't even get a t-shirt from the event. Hoping I can still get online. Pre-order that one if you can. Parking was terrible. Not a lot of signs to direct you. First time through we ended up being directed in a circle. We ended up parking off-site and walking.
The game was truly amazing!!! The seats were great and we have a fantastic time.
Typical U.S. performance: strong, wearing teams down type of game, but, in the end, they failed to get a goal they deserved. Swedish keeper was great, but the U.S. must find the net if they are to win this tournament. Seems like Morgan and Wambach should be getting more minutes as LeRoux is incapable of keeping shots on frame. Press was a non-factor, too. Winnipeg stadium very nice, perfect for a game such as this and pretty well protected from the Sun. Side trip to the Canadian Mint was well worth it, too.
It was very nice to see the city of Vancouver come together and enjoy a great day of soccer. BC Place is clean and organized with a really nice sound system. FiIFA is world class organization and brings only the best of the best to play. The stadium is easily accessible via sky train as well. My greatest memory of the experience was to enjoy my own privacy and choose to cheer as a fan also when needed. So many healthy people Yes,the world is a beautiful place, thanks for sharing the abundance FIFA
