Was initially promoted having Marvin Sapp

by Cj on 5/1/22VSU Multi-Purpose Center - Petersburg

Concert was really nice, was originally promoted with Marvin Sapp performing and wihout examination he was dropped. Fred Hammond seemed to feature the other artist and didn't sing very many of his songs. Still good experience

    Blessed

by QueenofKings on 5/1/22VSU Multi-Purpose Center - Petersburg

I absolutely loved this concert. They did a gray line up and transitioned so well into every song. They sung the old and the new hits. It was a really blessed atmosphere. They were punctual and respectful. I would definitely go again.

Concert was amazing Newark Symphony Hall should be condemned

by SE on 4/30/22Newark Symphony Hall - Newark

The artists were amazing and put on an incredibly uplifting show. The venue was horrible. There were bugs, holes in the ceiling, mold on the walls, and broken seats. Newark Symphony Hall looks and feels like a condemned venue. The advertisement for the show came from NJPAC so I assumed the show was there until the day of the show when I carefully looked at the ticket and regretfully saw the show was at Newark Symphony Hall. I even considered not going after paying for 2nd row orchestra seats. I am glad I went, the show was amazing and I was blessed. But I will never go to Newark Symphony Hall again until it is renovated.

The show was so good I enjoyed my time. I’m going to see Kirk Franklin on June 12th at the prudential center so I hope that is as good as this one

I did not like the venue at all!!!!

by Gee on 4/30/22Newark Symphony Hall - Newark

The performances were amazing!!!!!!! Hezekiah, Fred, and Israel gave us a show!!!!!!!!!! For that, I give a review of five stars. However, the once regal Symphony Hall, has a lot to be desired! Walls with chipped paint, entrances that could not be used, centipedes all over, old building smell, and not to forget the holes in the ceiling. Symphony Hall should be either closed or undergo a major overhaul.

    Awesome

by Pam on 4/30/22Newark Symphony Hall - Newark

I always can count on God to use Fred Hammond and those the Lord chose to allow the holy spirit to move mighty through his music. It was phenomenal powerful and mighty the spirit of the lord fill the place. That's why it called Festival of Praise in my experience I never leave the way I came in all glory and honor to God Israel Hezekiah Walker and Fred Hammond I was so happy because I grew up on their music with my mom so it was special even more that all three was there. Phenomenal Praise Amen

More church than concert, wear flats

by VL on 4/30/22Newark Symphony Hall - Newark

Newark Symphony Hall has 3 things going for it: right off the highway close to the airport, parking across the street and excellent acoustics. It’s all downhill from there. There are no decent restaurants in the area, you arrive early and stand (no benches in the lobby) until you’re let into the theater (an hour for us), no concession stand - although you could bring in water, and for this particular event you wasted $$ on an orchestra seat because the worshipers refused to stay seated. Instead of seeing the performance we viewed the attendee’s backsides. I’m all for passionate praise but after working all day I would rather not stand on tiptoes another 2 hours to see the performers. The Hall needs a facelift and the ushers were confused about where to seat people (lower vs upper orchestra). Now I see why some people travelled to Westbury LI from NJ for this gig. It was an uplifting event but I won’t attend here again and if I do attend FoP I’m getting front row seats in the orchestra, balcony or a box. Amen

    Off the hook

by Pocco on 4/30/22Newark Symphony Hall - Newark

I had a blast. My friend and I were there and it was so refreshing, uplifting and inspiring to be there. The tkts prices were reasonable. My void for a concert was filled and my soul is richly blessed. The devil lost again, my of my party changed her mind at six starting out my evening on a sour note. But was quickly revive after the first item. To God be the glory. Praise is what I do !

Unbelievable praise and worship event! Walker, Houghton, and Hammon were awesome on stage together performing as one. The band, the choir, and the lighting tremendously added to the entertainment. It was a very good concert!

    Horrible!!

by X. E. on 4/25/22Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

They should be ashamed of having a performance when every instrument every vocal, everything was muddled drowning out sound over sound...to help it make since...its clear to me no audio technician was hired to make for a great performance. I doubt I will attend this kind of show again Cobb Centre?! For a choir performance audio technicians should be mandatory no matter how many followers and fans they have! I left when 2nd half began...it was just the same as the first. I should get my money back!
