I have loved the musical ministry of Fred Hammond for over 2 decades. And he never disappoints. I had an amazing time. Thanks for mentoring the next generation. Keep spreading the good news Fred. I love you!
Parker Play House was a great venue. Show was awesome
Each artist gave it their all on stage. Hearts were touched and praise to God was given.

Great experience !! Seating was great but tight !! Parking was awful everyone took up 2 parking for people like me and my with handicap !! Great night and the event was amazing !!
I really enjoyed the show. I loved how each act came out one by one, but actually stayed out and performed their individual songs in conjunction with the other artists. I thought they were going to do individual sets, so I was surprised when Fred Hammond did only a few songs, but then stayed on stage when Israel Haughton came out. They did a good job spotlighting each one while mixing it up and going back and forth. I really enjoyed all three of them. Israel Haughton did a great job on the guitar and Fred Hammond and Hezekiah were wonderful performers. They made sure they mixed it up with a variety of their hits...even though they could have gone on for hours and hours. God was truly in the mix and the VSU Gospel Choir did a fantastic job backing up each of the artists.
This was awesome! Everyone was up on their feet clapping and singing along. Definitely a must see!
I brought my mother here for a pre Mother’s Day gift! She was so happy to see her favorites perform! I enjoyed it myself too when they asked for the youth to come down near the stage and sing along.
I had a wonderful time at Festival of Praise. Only thing is I wish I could have gotten on stage and sing with them. ;-) #TopSoprano
This was a great show. So good to see the folks live that I listen to all the time. I really appreciated hearing Mr. Hammond’s words of encouragement! I recommend anyone taking this show in it was very uplifting! Looking forward to more shows like this in the future!
Beginning to end, the atmosphere was electric! I felt like I was at a choir anniversary concert verses a “regular” gospel concert.
Because of the difference in styles, I would have preferred Isreal to have performed alone.
The atmosphere was filled with joy, praises and blessings. F. Hammond and others made the concerts fun and feel so real. Interacting with the youth, using social media and just lay back on the stage made it more intimate. Looking forward attend more concerts like that style.
Only suggestion is to turn down the background music because it drowned out the singers at times.
My mom and I had a great time!!! The blessing and the presence of the lord was defiantly in the place.
I am very disappointed. In January when I purchased the tickets. Bishop Marvin Sapp was on the line up card. 2 days prior to the event, I looked at my tickets, well he had been replaced. There should have been a email sent to the people that had purchased tickets to be notified of the change and see if they wanted a refund or still go to the show. Just down right disappointed.
However, the venue needs to hire more staff and organize seating better than they did. We stood in line for the first 2 opening choirs which is unacceptable.
What an amazing experience!! So much fun , disappointed that it was promoted with Marvin Sapp and he didn't come . Other than that , it was a great concert .
They sanged everything they could and VSU backed them like professionals I PRAY THEY ALL WAS HIRED🙌🙏😇 WELL DONE WELL DONE🙌😇🙏♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
All the Artists did Amazing ,loved everyone of them and the choir was awesome ❤️🙌🏾
