Festival Metro Metro Tickets

To start off the festival, I as well as a couple hundred maybe thousand others got there early around 1:30 when the gates were supposed to open at 2. We ended up standing in a clump of people, not even a line, for 3.5 hours. People started to get impatient after the second hour and they stormed the barricade to move to the next section so we were more packed together. We ended up missing 3 artist because of this. And the headliner lil Wayne showed up 45 minutes late and performed for 15 minutes until he was literally cut off by the festival because of curfew. People probably paid just to see him and then you only get that out of him. The second day was better they definitely learnt from their mistake last day. The festival the second day was pretty good nothing crazy. The last day was really good, no problems getting in and the artist were good. Leaving the concert each day especially if you stayed till the very end was very difficult. There was only one small exit for everybody to leave the standing section and then one way to get out. The metro station was jam packed which made it difficult to get on the train and when you were on you couldn’t move much. Overall I think it was a decent festival but unless they have someone crazy performing next year I will not be attending.

The venue is absolute chaos - only 1 stage for thousands of people. They weren't letting people with tickets in at some points, they'd block off all access to the stage side and make people line up just to get to the main attraction of the festival. BIA canceled, Fivio Foreign couldn't come into Canada, and Lil Wayne was 45 mins late.. Essentially taking out 3 major acts with no real apology or compensation except for an IG story. Metro Metro, do better. 🤡

I just for the life of me do not understand why they did not let people leave when it got too crowded. The part where the stage was had NO bathrooms, and NO food. My friends wanted to leave they said not yet. They said can you just kick me out than and security said not yet… Bartenders forced you to tip and acted like it was part of the price, and we didn’t notice this until going to another bartender and he told us that she always does that. Lil Wayne also barely showed up and only performed for 13 minutes.

Very disappointed. The first day the doors opened at 5pm when they were supposed to open at 2pm? Had to wait in line for 2hours because of this!! The instructions for the clear bags were unclear. It was only announced officially on tiktok two days prior to the event leaving little time for people to get some. The site was very small. They separated the crowd into two sections. One in the back were the restaurants were and the in front of the stage but when the artist were done with their performance and people wanted to go eat or to the bathroom, they closed the sections! We were stuck and it created lots of traffic for no reason. Everyone was pushing everyone because people were scared they wouldn’t get out. Also, why is there a 45min wait between artist? The headline is already so small and there is only one scene. We had to wait in between each artists and they stoped the music in between. Plus, when the artists were performing the sound wasn’t loud at all. We were in the front of the crowd and could talk to each other normally. Overall, very poor organization. For 300$ not worth it at all. Way better festivals out there for less.

Perfect venue, Great music food and crowd, best time ever! Metro boomin Nav and lil baby stole the show.

Because of the 2h30 delay on friday, the crowd was already dead before it even started. The mic was really low so we couldn’t hear half the artists I waited 20 minutes during the lil baby show to go out when i had enough, i still don’t understand why the gates were closed 14$ beer

Crowd was just awful, aggressive and rude. Staff was nice. Layout of the event was OK but only one stage so not much to do when the performers aren’t good, which was most of them. Jack Harlow was the only person who really put on a show. Would never go to this festival again, really just awful compared to others I’ve attended.

Removing one star because the stage is not viewer friendly. Theres like 15m between the front stage and the stage, which is fine but even then you dont feel like you can get close. Even with 3 people in front of me i could barely see anything... Make a slope or something so we get a chance to view the artist past the persons head in front of us. Another star removed for unclear rules. One security allowed black small backpacks others wanted to make sure they were all plastic see through. Im sorry, no ones gonna buy a plastic see through backpack for one night, its stupid. Not enough water was accessible. Finally the security is dumb. Saturday night was set to rain and for some reason the security decided to pretend to be fire fighters to 'cool' the people. It just gave us hypothermia. Ok being dramatic.. but it made us cold and wet when it was cloudy. And then it rained all night.. like it wasnt enough that we were going to get wet and were still coming to the show, but to make us wet and cold before the actual rain was just not the vibe. Anyway, the only reason I was there was for Jack Harlow and Jack Harlow delivered. Hes pulling the rating to the 3 stars. Dont go to Metro Metro unless absolutely necessary. K byee

I'll be honest, I went on Friday which didn't have the best lineup. Cordae was great, YEAT was doing things YEAT usually does and The Kid Laroi was really really good actually. Even with all this, I came to see Lil Wayne and I didn't really get to see Lil Wayne. Guy showed up 45 minutes late, played about 4 or 5 unknown songs with no hype and left after. Absolutely disappointing, but I'm aware it's not necessarily Metro-Metro's fault considering Lil Wayne's reputation. Never-the-less, because the people before Lil Wayne were pretty nice, I give it a 3-stars, but I won't be going again.

Wait time between artists is long and music isn’t loud enough

White men shoving woman around for 10 hours straight. For the festival itself it opened late everyday. There were also no activities as there usually are at festivals just a few food trucks. Overall white men were being so aggressive especially when there's woman in crowd getting crushed.

We wait like 2 hours at the gate because you didn’t open at the time and the biggest artist came only 13 minutes.

Late opening, missing acts, headliner only played for 15 minutes. Dangerously mishandled scene security, no bag checks, extended wait times between artists, complete waste of money overall.

I recently attended the Festival Metro Metro and I must say it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The festival organizers opened the gates a whopping 3 hours late, without any warning or explanation. This resulted in tens of thousands of people being stuck in a cramped area between fences, under the scorching sun, for hours on end. It felt like being herded like sheep, with no escape and no access to basic necessities like water or restrooms. As more people arrived, the situation only got worse. The overcrowding caused panic attacks, vomiting, and even people passing out. It was truly distressing to witness. I found myself assisting three individuals who had fainted, as there were no medics present to provide immediate help. The lack of preparedness and concern for the attendees' well-being was appalling. At a certain point, the frustration and desperation led people to start "bum rushing" the gate in an attempt to break free. The sheer force and number of people running together resulted in chaos and trampling. Meanwhile, the security guards, who were supposed to ensure safety, seemed disinterested and spent their time casually browsing their phones and laughing. This negligence only added to the sense of betrayal and helplessness. During the festival, I personally experienced an injury to my back due to being pushed around in the crowd. It was a struggle to even stand for the remainder of the event, and my enjoyment was completely ruined. To make matters worse, all the performances I had been looking forward to were either canceled or cut short because of the festival's delayed start. The lack of communication from the organizers regarding the delays and changes further intensified the disappointment. The pinnacle of this disastrous experience was the performance by the main act, Lil Wayne. He came on stage 45 minutes late and only performed for a measly 15 minutes. It was a blatant disregard for the fans who had eagerly waited to see him and added insult to injury. Overall, I can confidently say that the Festival Metro Metro was the worst experience of my life. The organizers demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and competence. Their inability to open the gates on time, ensure basic amenities, and provide adequate security was unacceptable. I will be pursuing reimbursement for the ordeal I went through. This festival was clearly run by amateurs, and I strongly advise others to reconsider attending any future events organized by them.

Everything was awesome other the lil Wayne late show up but other then that it was fun.

Not worth it. The festival is not very organized. Came to see Lil Wayne and he played for 15 mins. A joke

3h wait because they couldn’t open the festival on time, not aloud to sit on the ground but only a few picnic tables and all occupied, all of that for lil wayne to only play 15 mins… not worth the price paid
