    Last year was better

by C on 5/25/23Esplanade du Parc olympique - Montreal

Don’t like the new location. Last years location and vendors were much better. Also the performers were a lot better

    Pretty good

by Raina on 5/25/23Esplanade du Parc olympique - Montreal

Absolutely loved the festival, will definitely go next year, upset about delays of opening on the first day and missing sets because of it and very upset about the two cancelled performers

    Consistent cancellations

by Dannie on 5/25/23Esplanade du Parc olympique - Montreal

The fact that MM consistently books artists that are inadmissible to canada is extremely disappointing. I buy tickets based on the line up so tell me who is ACTUALLY going to be there then I will decide if I want to spend 280$. Security improved this year but the bathrooms had no toilet paper after night one.

    Not well organized

by Mathilde on 5/24/23Esplanade du Parc olympique - Montreal

    - The sound wasn’t loud enough. - Security was causing more danger by closing the gates then letting them open. - less days, more good artist would be better. - Not opening the gates 2h30 min late on the first day.

    Very Mid

by James on 5/24/23Esplanade du Parc olympique - Montreal

Besides NAV and Yeat everyone was mid. The organizers don’t know what they’re doing. Lack of preparation. Security was better I guess except that some forgot the boundaries of what they can do.

    8/10

Waiting in the line up for 3 hours with no reason why was trash. Overall not a bad layout and decent artists

    Big lack of organization

by Will on 5/24/23Esplanade du Parc olympique - Montreal

First day, 2.5h of wait. Second day was fine and last day they opened an hour late. If not from that it was pretty good. I just wished the bracelets were there

    Not the best

by C on 5/24/23Esplanade du Parc olympique - Montreal

I have been to multiple festivals and this one was by far the worst. The set up was not appealing to the eye whatsoever. Other festivals that take place at Parc Jean Drapeau are beautiful compared to this setting. This festival did not have enough food stands as well as enough vendors for alcohol. The setting was absolutely horrid with nothing nice to look at. It did not even feel like a festival (no decoration). The VIP sections ironically had less of a view than the General Admission section. As a long time festival goer, this festival felt like it was done half-assed. I hope they can do much better as I like Mr. Primeau and I appreciate what he has done for the community.

Good music - poor venue design

by Anon on 5/24/23Esplanade du Parc olympique - Montreal

The music was fine for the most part. A couple of the artists had issues with getting into Canada/arriving on time which was a little annoying but overall it was a good experience. The design of the venue with regards to allowing festival goers access to bathrooms/food directly from the concert area was one of the most poorly architected, and dangerous environments I've ever witnessed. For whatever reason, they lock festival goers into the concert area near the stage and do not allow them to get out at randomly designated times. Furthermore when they do eventually let you out, often times a massive crowd has formed and is forced to file through a ~8 foot gateway. Somebody is eventually going to be seriously hurt by this.
