  • She ROCKED!!!

by yarska on 5/3/12Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I was so excited sitting in the ryman waiting for her to come out on stage, and boy did she deliver! wearing a sumptuous two-piece dress and no shoes, she was a beast as she mashed on her guitar, and roused us with her sultry vocals. it was a stirring, sensational, emotional performance. she does not need a host of backup dancers or digital distortion; it was a bare-bones, REAL performance. her back-up singers, mountain men, were AMAZING! they sang two solo songs, both a capella. my cousin who has been to manyyyy a concert, said that was probably the best concert she's ever gone to. i'd buy tickets again in a heartbeat. two days after, i'm already missing it :(

  • Lame

She lacked passion. Airy,non-descript vocals. Loose band with muddy sound. Gave it 5 songs then left.

  • Feist was great, crowd was so-so.

    by Davinci0001 on 4/27/12Orpheum Theatre - PhoenixRating: 3 out of 5

I and my date were excited to see this talented artist at such an amazing venue, The Orpheum, very Art Deco with plush seating. The opening act, Tiger Tigre, was very somber,(imagine a redneck Leonard Cohen). Minimalist guitars, violinist and a bass drum. The next night in Tucson was graced with Bon Iver, probably much better. Feist went on and took the liberty of saying to the audience that, "anyone who's in the back and wants to come up to the front and fill the 20 or so seats that were empty". From that point on, we had to stand to see the show, as there were a rush of people that crowded the front of the stage area, encouraging others to make their way to the front...I felt bad for telling my date to wear heels since we had actual seats., hell, we might as well have been at The Marquee Theater in Tempe (a venue that has no seating).

Feist was wonderful. Her voice was right on. We had no Idea who played before her . It wasnt on the tickets, and we couldnt understand who he said he was. I wish we knew that she wasnt going on for so late. The Orphium was really interesting and enjoyable. With the exceptiom of the long wait we had a great time,

  • Feist was brilliant!!

by Emmyaward on 4/24/12Orpheum Theatre - PhoenixRating: 4 out of 5

Feist did not disappoint. Leslie's voice was perfect, and so were the voices of her back up vocalists. I loved that she performed songs from the entire Metals album, and that they still had enough time in their set to perform songs from previous records.

Concert was awesome! Acoustic sound needing some tweaking, especially from balcony.

  • Feist was amazing

    by Brettski0555 on 4/24/12Orpheum Theatre - PhoenixRating: 5 out of 5

The entire experience of watching Feist live in the beautiful Orpheum Theatre was beyond anything I expected. My wife and I enjoyed every minute and wished Feist could have play 10 more songs. However, we were very pleased to have the opportunity to see such talent in such a beautiful venue. Thanks.

  • So powerful!

by Tristanluck on 4/24/12Orpheum Theatre - PhoenixRating: 5 out of 5

Start to finish intensity and so soulful. Myself, and many others around me were struggling to hold back tears at points. Leslie Fiest is so adorable and energetic. You can't help but feel motivated when you leave this show. I couldn't get to sleep for hours I was so pumped. Her back up singers and band were so great as well. Best show I have seen in years. She sounds better live than on her records even, so unproduced. Pure talent. Two words to describe this show.... Big Hug!

  • Feist

by Khakii on 4/24/12Orpheum Theatre - PhoenixRating: 2 out of 5

Feist, although a really good musician, was way too self indulgent! She didn't play most of her hits which is really what people want to hear. She asked everyone to come to the front of the stage in the beginning of the show which led you to believe that it would be a very upbeat concert. Instead, she played all her mellow music, which after almost two hours, became tiring. She needs to rethink her concert style!

  • Feist uplifted my heart

by Ricopags on 4/24/12Orpheum Theatre - PhoenixRating: 5 out of 5

Incredibly soulful, beautiful singing and instrumentation, playful and fun interaction with the crowd. Her exuberance is still adding a spring to my step two days after the concert. I wish that I could follow her on tour and see her every performance. This week I saw Florence and the Machine, Tune Yards, St. Vincent and Feist. I loved all the performances, but far and away Feist was the most... joy inducing. I felt my being soar and delight in her incredible artistry. p.s. I'm a hardcore computer nerd and typically averse to 'feelings' and 'poetry-like things' so to feel this kind of soul elevation is a rare and magical thing indeed. Thank you so much, Leslie Feist. <3

  • Just down right wonderful!

The vibe and feel of the entire night was just something all together wonderful!

I love this venue. First time seeing Feist and I'm so glad I did because she put on an awesome concert.

  • A musician not a rockstar

    by MichelleMyBelle100 on 11/26/11The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Concert was full of new music and new takes on her classic songs.

  • Feist is even better live!!!!!!!

by linabean987 on 11/23/11Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

I never wanted the show to end.. Somehow her voice is 100 times better live than recorded!! Amazing; I will see Feist every time she comes near Portland!!

  • Feist at The Warfield

by KatyinCA on 11/22/11Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 3 out of 5

I love Feist, her beautiful voice sort of bluesy and quirkey at times but her show in San Francisco left me with a different impression. The piano and other instruments totally drowned out that wonderful voice she is blessed with. The music seemed twice a loud as her own voice, I was especially excited to see her as she is an all time favorite of mine. She sang mostly her new stuff which was a little dissappointing, I really really wanted to hear her sing The Water, which she did not. I loved the few songs she sang without all the piano racket in the background, those were worth the price of the ticket. I think Feist needs to re-think her bands music, it wasn't flattering for her.

  • Real good

by Rymerica on 11/22/11Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

The Chili guy who opened was incredible. Feist was perfect. Every song was even better live. The a number of hipsters there was unnerving.

  • Feist = Enchanting

by Jdub77 on 11/21/11The Centre In Vancouver for Performing Arts - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

This was hands down, the best live show I have seen in years. The quality of musicianship and the amazing rearrangement of songs from album to live performance enhanced the show considerably. The supporting singers Mountain Men were just incredible and glorious to listen to. Worth every penny! Thank you Feist.

  • Feist Nails it!

by HOOTER on 11/21/11The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

outstanding performance. I knew it was going to be a great experience when I saw 3 violinist, and a celloist tuning up. She also had a percussionist and backup singers along with the pianist and drummer. Warfield is a great venue. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. My only mistake was to buy Floor tickets for a classy, spiritualist performer like Fiest. I end up being crowded with some drunk 20year olds who were not shy with the drunk talking good times. If you're taking a date or good friend- buy the SEATED tickets

  • Can't beat Talent

by emmdix on 11/21/11The Centre In Vancouver for Performing Arts - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Though obviously shy and docile, there is no denying her talent. Her voice was in fine form, and I was surprised at how talented she was on guitar. A stripped down event which very few artists can pull off these days, but she and her backing band did it with ease

  • I Now Love Feist!

by musicman65 on 11/21/11Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

Thought it would be good. Wrong! It was Great!!! Feist is so talented! And the band is tight! Feist and the back-up singers provided some of the best vocals I've ever heard. Feist displayed amazing originality with her songs. The way she interacted with the audience made everyone fall in love with her. Adorable! The visuals were cool too!
