Fantastic Negrito is good artist--funny, adept, musical--with a fine band. However, much of that was simply lost at 6th and I because the sound was blasted. All nuance, all articulation, was simply lost to volume. A pity. His lead guitarist does a great channeling of Eric Clapton.
Fantastic Negrito's concert would have been awesome if I understood anything he said. The acoustics were HORRIBLE. People in the balcony all suffered through the concert because Fantastic's words were all muddled-- one song after another.

What a killer show! Don’t miss Fantastic Negrito. The band was tight and he was a showman through and through. F.N. Stayed after and signed memorabilia. He was very a gracious and dapper gent. He signed my lucky boots. Damn good night.
Great opener from the Guestlist, be sure to look them up. And Xavier(Fantastic Negrito) was so flamboyant and fun. I cant wait to see him perform again!

He was AMAZING! 2 hours of in-your-face blues. The intimate setting was a gift. I'll never forget this performance. It was definitely one of my top 10 concert experiences. The opening band blew me away too.

The show was amazing!!! Fantastic Negrito really does well in a smaller venue for a more personal performance. He absolutely played right to my soul! I would recommend House of Blues Dallas brings him back.
I have been to dozens of concerts in my life. This was the best show I have ever been to. I went with my wife and her friend. They also commented that it was the best show they had seen as well. The venue was very personal, not a bad seat in the house. In between songs the Fantastic Negrito told short stories but would start to sing the story as a segway into the next song. His vocals were beautiful and his band was amazing. The best live keyboards I've heard. He is a very charming and funny guy as well! Kept us laughing as much as they kept us alive with their songs. I cannot wait until he comes back to my area. We're definitely going to see them again. We traveled two hours to this venue and it was absolutely worth it. Don't miss the chance to see this act.
