I’ve seen Fan Halen before, and these guys play their hearts out! They are a good cover. I would give them a 5 if they used their real names instead of the lead singer referring to the band members by the original Van Halen band member’s names. Eddie Van Halen has passed . Micheal Anthony and Alex Van Halen were not on stage with them. Use your real names and own your own unique talents.
This is probably the 5th time we saw them. The lead singer looks identical to DLR. Amazing show, and they were spot on. The guitarist sounds exactly like EVH. Amazing show and extremely fun to get away and listen to some amazing music up close.
Really impressed with the musicians and showmanship of the band. They nailed it. Would definitely go again. Crowd really were into them too.
Fan Halen put on an amazing show! Very talented musicians, great crowd interaction and perfect set list! Fantastic tribute band, made you feel as if at an actual Van Halen concert! The venue was perfect as well. Intimate showroom , not a bad seat in the house with excellent sound. Loved it!
3rd time I've seen the band. 🤘🤘 Great show will see them next time they come thru Scottsdale
Great cover band. One of the best venues in the Phoenix area.
As someone who’s seen the original Van Halen—with David Lee Roth—multiple times, including their very last show, I can confidently say that Fan Halen nails it. This isn’t just a cover band—it’s a full-on Van Halen experience. From the wardrobe to the energy to the note-for-note authenticity, they’ve truly captured the spirit and spectacle of early Van Halen. The guitarist brings the sound of THE Guitar God roaring back to life—rich, raw, and unmistakably Eddie. You could close your eyes and swear you were listening to Fair Warning live from the Sunset Strip. The low end is tight and heavy and relentless, and the whole band plays with the swagger and spontaneity that made Van Halen legendary. But what really blew me away was their version of David Lee Roth. Somehow, this guy manages to be more Diamond Dave than Dave himself. Vocally sharp, charismatic, and fully committed—he sings the lines that Roth used to skip and brings the same cocky charm without falling into parody. If you’re a fan of Van Halen, especially the classic DLR era, Fan Halen is as close as you're going to get. A must-see for any true VH fan.
This is a fun band who did a great tribute to Van Halen. The lead singer does a fantasic impression of David Lee Roth in his vocal performance, his dance moves and jumps. I would love to see this band perform regularly in Las Vegas. Next best thing to seeing the original band. 😁
Band and vocals were excellent. Band easily connected with the audience. Would recommend to others and would pay to see this band again. Love the intimate setting and seating as well.
