FALSETTOS (Chicago) on Tour
William Finn and James Lapine's groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical FALSETTOS returned to Broadway in an all new production from Lincoln Center Theater, and was nominated for Five 2017 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical. Lapine returned to direct an extraordinary cast in a production that was seen on PBS stations nationwide.
FALSETTOS revolves around the life of a charming, intelligent, neurotic gay man named Marvin, his wife, lover, about-to-be-Bar-Mitzvahed son, their psychiatrist, and the lesbians next door. It's a hilarious and achingly poignant look at the infinite possibilities that make up a modern family... and a beautiful reminder that love can tell a million stories.
Due to adult themes, the show is most appropriate for those over the age of 12. Children under the age of 5 will not be permitted in the theatre.

Went to two seperate performances a couple days apart. The show is thought provoking and highly enjoyable.
This was an incredible experience! I’ve loved this show for a while and it was surreal to see it live. 10/10, 100% recommend anyone seeing it!
I have seen it before and I have to say this cast was the best. Every single one of them was fan-tas-tic!! So glad I got to see them do this!
I thought the performance was great! The actors were very talented and likable, allowing the audience to experience a range of emotions throughout the story. The theater had an excellent sound system and comfortable seating. I would recommend seeing this show!
I loved everything about this show! The cast was fantastic and the show made me laugh and cry. I am still thinking about Falsettos days later! I took my son to the stage door after the show and couldn't believe how friendly the entire cast was. My son is a huge fan and they really made his day!!
Did not care for the story. Acting was fairly good tho
What a wonderful afternoon I spent on Wednesday, June 5th. The performances were outstanding. Max von Essen, Eden Espinoza and Nick Adams knocked it out of the park for me. I traveled to Chicago from Cleveland specifically to see this show and another at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
The actors and their voices were good. I didn't realize subject matter of play was such a downer. All four of us agreed we wouldn't recommend the play.
Feeling funny but heartwarming. Not the style of marriage, love is essential for humankind,
