    Monster Trucks were entertaining

by bastion15 on 12/6/11The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

Took our three Grandkids ages 8,4,& 2. They really enjoyed it.Very entertaining. The Clown was also and added pleasure. Show started right on time and lasted over two hours. We thought it was worth it. The Grandkids were impressed.

Weak Event - My 6 Year Old Enjoyed It Though

by PastaBoyMI on 12/5/11The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

Plodding event with too many technical issues. If it was not for the clown guy, I would have taken a nap. Weak location for this type of event. Needs more space.

    poor show

by monster69 on 12/5/11The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

The worst monster truck show i've ever been too. Everything was broke, the most pathetic track i've ever seen, there was three cars on either side and that was it. how do you do freestyle with nothing to run over? the only thing good was brute force tearing his rear axle off at the end.

was this a kids show or monster truck!

by moonandruss on 12/5/11The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

I was very dissapointed in this show. There was so much wasted streched out time with the guy focusing on the kids only and prob only an hours worth of actaul monster truck event going on. They should always put a description of what to expect at these events when we pay tickets for these. If I knew the show was only one hours worth of truck show and 3 hours wasted on kids stuff I would never have gone and I LOVE monster truck! Plus the show said it started at 7PM again the monster truck portion didnt even start till8pm. 7 to 8 again was wasted on things for little kids. Adults enjoy this show as well how about focus on them!

    Too drawn out and boring

by Pumpkin69 on 12/5/11The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

Yes, I know...How can a Monster Truck event be boring. Well, here's how: You take ONLY 6 trucks in a small venue, add only 2 jumps and a clown named Porkchop in his golf cart turned miniature Monster Truck and you have a 3 hour event that could have easily been a 90 minute event. The trucks hardly had any room to do anything but donuts (which were cool). The jumps were lame, due to no space, the only excitement was when a few of the trucks rolled over! It definitely was not worth the price of admission. The drivers even seemed bored. The clown REALLY got on everyone's nerves after a while. He took up way too much time doing his stupid skits, including a Michael Jackson dance routine. If this was a children's event or a circus then I would expect a clown to preform but this is the first time I've seen one at a Monster Truck event. If you just want to take your kids to see some cool trucks and some watered down truck stunts then maybe you would have enjoyed this but if you are a person who really enjoys Monster Trucks getting down and dirty then wait for the event that comes to Ford Field. They have much more room to do what they are built to do!

Unorganized, chaotic and just plain bad

by Anonymous on 2/8/11Hara Arena - Dayton

For starters half the monster trucks were broken down so the show ended up being shorter then it should have been. Also in the ad it said that you would see "The first ever indoor monster truck backflip" and they never even attempted or even acknowledged this. The ad also said there would be a quad backflip but there were not even any quads present. Your supposed to be able to pick the winner by cheering (which kids loved) but when it came to picking the overall winner they said it was a close so we had to cheer again and he said "nope its a tie" and that was it the show was over. Would not recommend.

    Horrible show

by printquick on 2/7/11Hara Arena - Dayton

No dirt - seriously - trucks on concrete was not real exciting 2 of the 5 trucks broke down in the first of 3 events the lady driver was new and couldn't get her truck to do a donut as she was timid 1 of the 2 broken trucks managed to make it for the 2nd event watching the timid lady drive in circles was embarrasing, I was like "seriously" the last event was okay, just no dirt, and little space for them to do anything seats at hara are skinny and hard, if you have a fat guy next to you good luck Hara is a very dated facility - I mean very dated, restrooms were packed Ladies restroom sign was missing, and you know how busy a womens room is Charged $8 to park, huge ripoff, Local facilities for similar events do not charge Will not go back to this event again, spend a few dollars more and go to Nutter Center I took my camera and didn't take 1 picture the crazies in the parking lot snow after the event were more fun to watch

    Extreme waste of time !!!

by 4X4Lover on 12/6/10The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

Where to start.....1/4 of consession stands open, Restaurants not open. Only 6 trucks, 1 was first time. Too small area, very hard for trucks to do much. Poor ventilation, lots of smoke. Will never go again, only place worthwhile is football sized stadium.

    Made my sons so happy!

by hockey16mom on 12/6/10The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

We had a great time, all of the people around us were fabulous. Complete and total strangers, and we were all laughing and joking, friends by the end of the night. My son got these tickets as a present for his 10th birthday, and we upgraded to VIP seats so he could meet his hero, Jeff Hardy. Jeff was very kind to my son after he found out what a huge fan he was. It was a fabulous night for the family!

The arena was not big enough for the large trucks and they did not include the favorite names in trucks such as bigfoot, etc. , the new gal "ice" needs more experience and hot tamale was the top number one in my book, he really could handle that truck. But I did like the winner as well

    Extreme Monster Trucks...NOT

by TruckinJo on 12/6/10The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

I have been to over 20 Monster Truck Events and this one by far was the worst. The event was very badly organized resulting in the crowd waiting for the action while stage hands ironed out technical issues several trucks not working correctly from the start and so on. This venue is clearly not big enough for any kind of Monster Truck show, and I certainly feel ripped-off.

    Unorganized

by Anonymous on 12/6/10The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

The way this was advertised, thought it would be 100% different than it was. I frequently attend monster truck events with my two children, and have even done so before children. I purchased the VIP to meet, get autographs. VIP started at 5:30, we as well as many many others stood single file in a very overheated access room for half hour. Doors didnt' open until about 6:00. Upon entering, in which we didn't know there were two lines. One to ride in a monster truck, where there was an additonal fee. Other line for autographs, pics. As entered there were no programs to purchase for autographs. Six trucks were there, and it was just unorganized general admission to walk around the trucks. After about 10 minutes we did see some of the drivers. The show, started late. Couldn't figure out how to play National Anthem - we all stood for about 10 minutes waiting. Arena got so full of exhaust, our eyes burned, and had to take a pause to refigure out line up so door could be opened for fresh air. I would not purchase tickets again, or recommend it. Will continue to feel negative experience with show.

    Monster Trucks were beyond Amazing!!!!!!!!!

by Everidge2005 on 12/6/10The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

This was such a PERFECT birthday gift for my sons. We got our seats moved down to the floor level, in row 7, and afterwards, the drivers signed autographs. Unforgettable event! Would definately go back again, without a doubt in my mind! Workers were very friendly and helpful!

    EXTREME MONSTER TRUCKS

by ANDYKJ on 12/6/10The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

NOT HAVING ANY DIRT SO THE TRUCKS CAN DO THERE THING WAS NOT GOOD. THE QAUD JUMPING WAS GOOD, NEED MORE OF THAT WITH REESTYLE MOTOCROSS. ALSO WOULD RECOMMEND MORE ACTION WITH THE MONSTER TRUCKS.

Extreme Monster Trucks...not extreme at all!

by ExtremeFan123 on 12/6/10The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

Was this event put on by professionals? It sure didn't seem like it. There was a lot of down time between each performance. The announcer didn't do enough to fill in these times. We left early. The kids weren't even impressed.

    Don't waste your money

by 5498 on 12/6/10The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

Don't waste your money. It was like a circus side show. Six trucks of a second rate nature. Announcer was like a high school basketball announcer.
