    "I LOVE THEM "

by PAULITE on 5/21/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

RAIN WAS THE BEST SHOW I HAVE BEEN TO THIS YEAR. THE MUSIC WAS SO GREAT----GENIUS REALLY. AND THE MUSICIANS WERE POSITIVELY FASCINATING. THEY LOOKED, ACTED, DANCED, AND TALKED JUST LIKE PAUL,JOHN,GEORGE AND RINGO!!! BEATLES WITH RAIN WISH I COULD SEE IT AT LEAST TEN TIMES MORE!! I LOVED THETWO SCREENS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE STAGE AND HOW IT SHOWED "OLD FOOTAGE" OF THE BEATLES PERFORMING, AND BEING INTERVIEWED. IT BROUGHT BACK GREAT MEMORIES TO ME. THE SHOW WAS THE VERYYYYY BESTTTTTTT!!!!! AND "THE BEATLES RAIN WAS THE BEST". THANK YOU FOR BRINGING IT TO HONOLULU. PLEASE BRING IT BACK ONE MORE TIMEEEEEEE!!!!!

    Beatles Reincarnated

by PaulIsntDead on 5/21/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

This is one of the best concerts I've ever seen. It was like watching the real Beatles in a two and-a-half hour celebration of their history and legacy. The players and the music was spot on accurate with a fifth keyboard player filling in the strings and various sounds and effects. Audio engineering and multi-media was excellent. Each era of the Beatles was visually represented with scenes and costume changes. They had the entire house standing, dancing, clapping, cheering and singing along. If you haven't seen it...do so....and take your friends and family. Amazing!

    Experience the Beatles with Rain

by Rainie2 on 5/21/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

The show was phenomenal! I'm only sorry there were so few shows otherwise I would see it again. Have been a Beatles fan since the beginning and these 4 performers were so accurate down to mannerisms and voices. It also was bittersweet watching "John" and "George" singing knowing both of these men are no longer with us.

    Rain...wonderful, but no memorabilia.

by Bleusha on 5/21/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

Lacking no souvenirs to satisfy me want to remind me of this great event, nothing was available as everything was sold out-poor planning marketing folks-Rain was like being on Broadway. A must see when they go back on your. Outstanding arrangements with a sense of humor. George's character can play that guitar. Just fantastic! We'll see again!

    worth the money, family friendly

by krustyluv on 5/21/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

I was hoping for more of the early music. I felt they spent too much time on the Sgt. Pepper era. The bass was muddy and too loud at times, but that could just be the hall acoustics. The band is very tight, the harmony singing is great, we had a good time. Just don't order the so-called Long Island Ice Tea from the vendor out front. It tasted like radiator coolant mixed with Red Bull. Go to this show.

    UnBeatleble

by TropTim on 5/21/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

I was one of those kids that watched the Beatles when they first appeared on Ed Sullivan show. It's hard to believe it was almost 50 years ago. I've seen a few Beatles tribute band's but Rain was by far the best. The use of the screens on the side of the stage and behind Ringo was very ingenious. I love the way that the stage was set up for each of the different periods in Beatle history. The Shea Stadium concert set up was great. I felt like I was actually at the concert - minus a couple thousand hysterically screaming young girls of course. They even had a couple of sawhorses with the words "police line" stenciled on them. I appreciate the attention to detail that they put into the show. I hope you enjoyed Hawaii as much as we enjoyed you. It was a wonderful show and you did a great job. Aloha.

    From Me to You

by ThisBoy on 5/21/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

Very good, especially the difficult songs like "Black Bird" and "Here Comes the Sun." But wish there were more (or different) selections of the older ones: "If I Fell", "And I Love Her", "Here, There, Everywhere", "Nowhere Man", so on. I realize they only have a certain amount of time, so do they change the songs from concert to concert? Harmony too strong on "Day Tripper"; melody got drowned out. Otherwise, all excellent, especially the middle (instrumental) part of "In My Life".

    Rain Was Unbelievable

by Smiley19 on 5/21/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

It was the concert the Beatles never gave in Honolulu. Steve Landes was great as John and his voice was spot on. Joey was pretty good as Paul but then again that's probably the hardest role for anyone to play. I wish Joe displayed more of George's mastery of the guitar. Ralph's drumming did Ringo proud. I wished they played 2 additional songs, And I Love Her and If I Fell but I was transported back for over 2 hours. Mahalo!

Rain's tribute to the Beatles was Fab!

by Beers4theBay on 5/20/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

The body of music created by the the group was impressive... Rain really did them justice... Even my wife, who does not enjoy 'old time rock and roll' the way I do was impressed with the show and how well they sounded. Rain's ability to get the crowd involved and on their feet exposed the Beatles to a new generation of fans... only wish they had time to play even more songs like Long and Winding Road, Across the Universe, Back in the USSR, and Ballad of John and Yoko, but considering the amount of music written by the boys from Liverpool, it would have added another hour to the show... hmmm... that would have been fun...

    Beatlelicious

by Smokey70 on 5/20/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

RAIN was amazing. from start to finish and the show was thoroughly entertaining. The music brought back memories, plus the costume changes really added to the show, thinking that we were actually at a Beatles Concert. This is the kind of show that you wouldn't mind seeing more than once.

    The Beatles are back!!!

by FiddlingHawaiian on 5/20/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

While I never got to see the Beatles live, the musicians were so good and the attention to details made me feel that I was seeing the Beatles. The multimedia was GREAT and seeing several clips of audience reactions plus old commercials brought back a lot of memories as well. My only negative comment was that the audience didn't get as engaged with the performance as I imagine a true Beatles crowd would have. Still, the showmanship of the principals was awesome and by the end, they did have the entire audience singing and clapping. I would definitely go again if I had the chance and recommend this show highly!

Rain was so awesome it was beyond words!!!

by kdagz on 5/20/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

I bought the tickets for my mom for mothers day, and she asked me to come along. This production was more than I could have hoped for. The performances were tight, the performers were engaging, and the manner in which everything was done was really just fabulous. We were disappointed the performance was *only* 2 hours! We had great seats in the balcony and they were worth every penny. I would definitely go again - and so would my mom!!! Bring Rain back to Hawaii!!!

    RAIN, RAIN... PLEASE STAY!!!!

by devotedLex808 on 5/20/13Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

RAIN: A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES WAS AN INCREDIBLE SHOW. IT WAS REMINISCENT FOR THOSE BORN IN THAT ERA AND IT SHOWED THOSE OF US BORN AFTER HOW COOL IT WAS BACK THEN. COSTUMES WERE ON POINT. MUSIC WAS TOTALLY LIVE. THIS IS THE NEXT BEST THING TO ACTUALLY SEEING THE ORIGINAL BEATLES LIVE. THANK YOU RAIN FOR PUTTING ON SUCH AN ELABORATE PERFORMANCE. IF YOU WERE TO COME BACK TO HAWAII, I WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK TO SEE YOU!!!
