TIM RICE and ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER's Tony Award®-winning musical returns at last!
Eva Perón used her beauty and charisma to rise meteorically from the slums of Argentina to the presidential mansion as First Lady. Adored by her people as a champion for the poor, she became one of the most powerful women in the world — while her greed, outsized ambition and fragile health made her one of the most tragic. EVITA tells Eva's passionate and unforgettable true story, and features some of theater's most beautiful songs, including "Don't Cry for Me Argentina," "Another Suitcase in Another Hall" and "High Flying, Adored." Don't miss the stunning new production of EVITA, directed by MICHAEL GRANDAGE and choreographed by ROB ASHFORD, that Channel 4 New York calls “THE HOTTEST TICKET IN TOWN!”

The seats that I bought were great. The show was Amazing ! I enjoyed it, it was all great
Overall the singing and dancing were good. But you needed to be able to understand what they were singing and we couldn't. I needed to have listened to all the songs before hand to grasp the story specifically. The sound needed to be adjusted for each song as with one you couldn't even hear her at all. I would not see this again or recommend it.
Desi Oakley who played Eva had an amazing voice. My mother and I enjoyed the show from start to finish. Would recommend everyone who likes musicals to see it.
The touring cast was great . . . enjoyed it. The leads were very good and more human than on Broadway.
The show was very nice and the view from the Seats were awesome.
The Broadway touring production of Evita was a disappointment. Too much reverence for the subject matter robbed this production of the sex appeal and sense of fun that made the original production such a hit. My step daughter, who loves musicals, had a difficult time following the action and was quite bored.
I had never seen the show before. I thought the sets and performances were great. It was a bit much on the nonstop singing though and I tuned out at times but I enjoyed. Shorter show than I expected each act was about an hour.
We recently vacationed in Buenos Aires. We started at San Telmo and finished at the Recolleta cemetery. Evita! brought back those memories. We stood at the very balcony where she spoke. We visited her grave. The show was very well done and did her memory honor.
We really enjoyed the music, stage settings, and sound projection.
My husband and I enjoyed the top rated talent of all involved in this production. The dancers especially were so outstanding. We saw the show Saturday night and couldn't have asked for more! Bravo!!
Evita was really good! The actors, although they were understudies in main roles, were very good. Didn't want it to end.
Good voices and performances. I did not the script and the music was too tropical to represent Argentina. But overall, it was good.
I have seen this play on Broadway and in several other locations. Although I have always felt that Music Hall lacks better acoustics I felt this production was well done and delivered! My daughter and I enjoyed the break with a pre-ordered snack... All in all...a great evening!
Judy and I truly enjoyed Evita. It was probably the best we have seen in the DSM series. There were times when you could hear a pin drop the audience was so engrossed. We, fortunately, had recently visited Argentina and the Duarte mausoleum.
The entire evening was a wonderful experience...got tickets online along with valet parking and was most pleasant all the way around...no disappointments!
The show was phenomenal. The set unfolded beautifully and the cast was awesome. My only complaint was that the show did not run long enough. I would have gone again.
Yes I Did Recommend Evita to Others, They Went and They Loved It As Well!
At times national touring theatre productions are not strong. This show does NOT fall into that category. It was OUTSTANDING! I HIGHLY recommend it...
The Dallas production of "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" lacked sparkle maybe because of the poor sound system, the weak female lead, and Che who had no enthusiasm and delivery. Some of the productions numbers were colorful, but after the first dance routine, the rest were with the same movements ; only the costumes changed. Many of Evita's songs were overpowered by the orchestra. At times, it seemed as if Evita was screaming not singing. I did like the sets, but the lighting was not effective as many times the stage was so dark that it was hard to follow the action. When I left the theater, I was not crying for Argentina, I was weeping over the high price of the admission for such a lack luster performance of a wonderful play.
The performers were seasoned Broadway singers/actors. The music- Andrew Lloyd Webber with a Latin tango flair. The story was as good as the music, unlike many musicals which have weak plots behind them.
