About

Las Vegas post-hardcore marauders Escape the Fate have been stomping and screaming their impassioned brand of melodic brutalism since 2005. Through it all, the unwavering self-belief of the band -- especially frontman Craig Mabbit -- has earned them a tight connection with their fans. "Ungrateful," released in 2013, debuted confidently at No. 2 on the Billboard Hard Rock charts. Escape the Fate has brought their high-energy concert experience to a long list of rock festival ticket buyers across the Western hemisphere. Their juggernaut live performances pour energy into the crowd with wall-of-death mosh pits, and Craig Mabbit’s "stay true to yourself" therapy sessions. Switching between exhortations to go mad in the pits and denying any limitations on personal growth, Escape the Fate are an undeniable tour draw whether head-lining or supporting.

Escape the Fate formed in Pahrump, Nevada. A demo and a radio contest judged by My Chemical Romance led to a support slot with Alkaline Trio and a record deal with Epitaph. Their debut album "Dying is Your Latest Fashion" made its way into the top 20 of Billboard’s Heatseaker and Top Independent Albums charts. With the departure of lead singer Ronnie Radk, Craig Mabbit would preside over the many comings and goings of bassist Max Green and the struggles to find a record company that would appreciate their vision. Their 2010 self-titled album caught the band at their most stable and diverse, and 2014 will bring a tour with Ronnie Radke’s band, Falling in Reverse. "Ungrateful," tighter and less diverse than their self-titled major label debut, features a collaboration with Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy and a video that tackles the issue of bullying and violence. As hatchets are buried and things settling down, the future looks bright for Escape the Fate.

    Alesana ROCKED it

by PrincessSparkles on 2/6/11Firestone Live - Orlando

Escape the fates performance was ok, but the best performance of the night was most definitely Alesana. Their performance was so high energy and it kept me completely interested the entire set! Afterwards with the fans as well, ETF were not as warm to their fans and didn't really seem to make much of an effort to meet them or sign stuff for them which is unfortunate

An AWESOME performance by ALL five bands...

    by tinaat1013 on 2/4/11The Norva - Norfolk

Drive A began the show with an unforgettable ray of talent. Bruno got the crowd going with his amazing blast of positive energy. Get Scared followed and were simply amazing. Motionless in White was full of in energy as they rocked the crown in sync. Alesana was one our favorites who also rocked the crowd, however, there was something not so great about their show. I was disppointed that the lead singer didn't interact with the audience as much as he should have. The screamo dude acted as the lead singer and quite frankly he's not the one the female fans want reaching out to them! The sound system is also to blame for a not so great show. It was very muffled and difficult to disguish one song from the next. Escape the Fate were AMAZING. I've seen them before and they definitely surpassed living up to their fans' expectations. Once again, the sound system at The Norva caused their songs to sound muffled and just plain noisy and distorted. It's apparent that the volume was turned up as each band played closer to the no 1 spot. Perhaps The Norva's sound system can use some adjusting or upgrading so when the volume is turned up the music still sounds clear. Overall it was a fantastic show from all performers.

    I still can't hear :-D

    by Inkprincess146 on 2/4/11The Norva - Norfolk

Overall Just a wow kind of show. I got there after Drive A. Get Scared was pretty good. I had see Motionless in White before and they did not dissapoint. I was blown away by Alesana... Much better live. Of course it goes without saying that I was pleased by the set by Escape the Fate. They were all I needed them to be.

Firestone best venue so far. ETF was incredible

by Lumbazach on 2/1/11Firestone Live - Orlando

I've been to many small and large venues firestone is by far the best and that includes arenas. Bands Get Scared Drive A and Alesana were amazing and sounded just like there albums but with an extra kick. Escape the fate was phenomenal, YouTube doesn't do the band any justice. If you've ever been to a show where you thought the people playing were rockstars, you haven't seen anything until you see these guys

    by slate2006 on 2/1/11Firestone Live - Orlando

I've seen EtF before, but this concert was amazing. I was, by far, one of the best concerts I have been too. Alesana also put on a great show. Only problem I had: I was one of maybe 40 ppl over 21

    The Dead Masquerade : Amazing.

by CraigsGirl on 2/1/11Firestone Live - Orlando

So, i've been a fan of Escape the Fate for about two years now, and I couldn't of been more amazed at the four of them. They're absolutly AMAZING live. Their energy couldn't of been higher, their music was just as amazing as it was on the album, and all four connected with the crowd so much! The venue was amazing, too. I can't wait to see other concerts there :)

    THRASSSSHHHH!!!!!!

by ibleedgreen on 2/1/11Firestone Live - Orlando

I come from the PANT "era" and was sceptical of "screemo" so I took my 14 year old daughter to this concert. She is in looove of course as for me.........my only dissapointment was no bruises. What happend to mosh pitting, nobody wants to get hurt anymore. Isnt that what thrashin is all about, letting out your aggression while some bad asses are on the stage gettin crazy. Every band that played here in a field where moshing would be "allowed" that would have made it better. However they did kick some assss and I was impressed!!!!

    WICKED!!!!!!!!

    by Quesiah727 on 1/31/11Firestone Live - Orlando

I'm always extremely hesitant to go see bands which I truly enjoy their music. I really try to save myself from being disillusioned by seeing them "live" just in case they don't "live" up to their own CD's sound. But all my worries were put to rest as soon as Craigs' vocals (along with the help of his fellow band mates Max, Monte and Roberts' help) hit the crowd which immediately caused everyone including myself to go bonkers!!!!!...I must admit it's been one of the most engaging concerts I've been to in a while. EVERYONE was completely into the show (other than the tweens who kept passing out from heat exhaustion). Overall the sound was great the crowd was completely engaged during their set and the band was genuinely appreciative to all their fans and I must say the price was right for a full night of music. I regret taking three years to see them live. I'm DEFINITELY IN whenever they're in town again.

    Escape the Fate was AWESOME

by imaloserru on 1/31/11Firestone Live - Orlando

It had been my first time going to Firestone Live and to a hardcore rock concert. The environment was much better than I expected, because i thought of the social, but that place is definitely better than the social. In the future I hope to see another one of their concert, and hopefully I will know more of their songs that they play. I did find parking, but the only thing I didn't like, was that they didn't let me sit down during the break in a non-crowded area (it was against the wall where is was sparsely populated).

    The venue is horrible!

    by Brit1234 on 1/31/11Firestone Live - Orlando

Escape the Fate was really good. I highly recommend seeing them if you get a chance. With that said, the opening bands literally gave me a headache. Finally, the venue is hot cramped and provides for limited visibility. So, do your research regarding the venue.

    Escape the Fate was excellent!

by mamafairie on 1/31/11Firestone Live - Orlando

Escape the Fate was excellent and I would recommend this event to anyone who likes this type of music. I bought the tickets for my daughter's 17th b/day present as she is a huge fan. Out of the 5 bands performing....4 were worth the money. I did not give this review an amazing rating due to the band "Alesana" who were just not up to par and were a real disappointment. All the the other bands were good and Escape the Fate was amazing. I would definately attend another event at this venue.
