About

Erth’s DINOSAUR ZOO Live takes you on a tour through pre-historic Australia, bringing an eye-popping array of ancient creatures to life on stage.  You will observe and interact with extraordinarily life-like creatures, just like those that inhabited the Southern Hemisphere millions of years ago.   Meet a menagerie of insects, mammals and dinosaurs in their ancient environment, in this highly imaginative, entertaining and educational live show.   From the sweetly curious baby Dryosaur, to the peaceful hulk Titanosaur, and even the teeth-gnashing T-rex -- Erth’s DINOSAUR ZOO Live is a unique interactive theater performance that stimulates the imagination in a way that connects children to their world.  Erth’s large-scale puppets were developed in consultation with paleontologists, based on current science and interpretations of fossil evidence.   Employing sophisticated design and electronics, these giants are brought to life by skilled performers and puppeteers, made all the more real through the magic of theatre.

Fun Experience for Dino lovers, amazing staff!

    by Erica C. on 4/19/24

Such a fun experience for my Dino lover!! They made it fun and engaging, while still educational! There were a lot of kids, and we were last in line, but all the staff was super patient. They gave my son plenty of time to still enjoy his experience with the Dinos, and did not rush him! It was a wonderful experience, and my son enjoyed it! If they come back to our town, we’d go again!

Paid too much for VIP seating

by Leslie on 2/24/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

The show was good, however paid almost double for VIP seating and there really was no interaction, which is how you described the seating. If I would have known that I never would have purchased them. When it came to interaction with the children the narrator went to the back, where the seats were a lot less.

    Great show very interactive

by Betty M on 2/22/24Lynn Auditorium - Lynn

The show was fantastic! Kids had a blast. The only thing was the meet and greet was before the show and the website says it is after the show, we almost missed it even though we got to the show really early.

This was less interactive more a skit!

by Dolores on 2/20/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

Not very elaborate more narrative, with unimpressive jokes. Grandson cried that’s all when it was over lasted 45-50 minutes. Not worth the price whatsoever.

    Great experience

by Tara on 2/20/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

My grandson son is 3 and loves dinosaurs knows every kind. We did the VIP and I loved how they explained everything. They all were so kind with all the kids. I absolutely love how everything is made of recycled material. I hope they’ll be another so my grandson and I can go again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

    Good Show

by Lori on 2/20/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

Good show but not too much talking for a 2 year old. Although when dinosaurs were on stage he loved it. To much talking though to hold his attention. Great for 5 and up

    Disappointing

by Beachlove on 2/20/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

The one hour show was too short and very disappointing. Not enough dinosaurs in show a total of 4. They were on stage for a very short time. Very hard for children to see them. Too much talking with facts and information not easily heard by audience. Dinosaurs didn’t come out to stage at the end. No music or dancing so show did not live up to the description advertised. Would not recommend

by Mom on 2/20/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

Too much talking. Not enough action. This was very disappointing to our 4 yr old son and his parents. Waste of money! Watch a tv show!!!

    Great experience

by Condappa on 2/7/24Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

From the puppets to the people and the lighting. All were fantastic. I wished they showcased more dinosaurs but I did learn a lot myself. My 3 year old son just wanted to see more.
