    They are still amazing!

    by Mistro2 on 7/20/11Snoqualmie Casino-Mountain View Plaza - Snoqualmie

Eric Burdon still sounds fantastic. His voice is strong and clear and his personality still rocks. His band, the keyboard/piano player, guitar players and drummers are also great. It was a very good show and I am very glad I went.

Eric Burden, too good -- too short

    by Gman41 on 7/20/11Snoqualmie Casino-Mountain View Plaza - Snoqualmie

The man still has the killer rock voice at 70. Set was under an hour. A little short. Venue was good in that it was small, and as intimate as an outdoor venue can be setting essentially on top of a casino parking lot. But not a lot of atmosphere.

    Great Band

by Yokon on 7/19/11Snoqualmie Casino-Mountain View Plaza - Snoqualmie

I am big fan of Eric Burdon and he did not disappoint me with his professional showmanship and the popular songs arrangement. I am amazed how one can continue to remain popular even with the age of 70 .

    Eric Burdon is Amazing talent

by Skatrdoll on 7/19/11Snoqualmie Casino-Mountain View Plaza - Snoqualmie

I feel so blessed to be able to see the man who is the roots of my music heros. I was just thinking of him one day and went on you-tube to view old videos of Eric and then wondered what he was up to these days and WOW! Discovered he was playing at Snoqualmie Casino. I drove a couple hours from Cashmere and it was a well worth trip. The venue was incredible.

    Not Worth the Money/Time

    by greyhound23 on 7/18/11Snoqualmie Casino - Snoqualmie

I was never a fan of this group, but my husband was/is so I agreed to go. I was bored to death and EB is just too old to be up on stage anymore. It was not a sold out concert by any stretch of the imaginatio, so I think other people felt the same way and passed on this one....good decision IMO. As we were walking out, I heard more than one person complaining that it was too short (just over an hour) and that they didn't play Sky Pilot and a few other old stand-bys. Other comments were that EB just doesn't have it any more in the voice department. Over all, I would have given it one star but gave it 2 since my husband enjoyed it.

Burdon rocked the house even at 70!!!!

by SDJnyc on 6/11/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

He just gets better with every concert. It's great to see him whenever he is at BB Kings. The room is perfect for his gritty performances. I have followed Eric Burdon since the release of House of the Rising Sun and I can't imagine the day when he will no longer perform since he is one of the few remaining links to the greatest era of rock. Eric Burdon is a true icon.

    Mr. Burden still has it.

by Foxyladyblues on 6/10/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

My boyfriend and I planned to see Eric Burden & The Animals a few months back once they were on sale through songkick. We live in Los Angeles and decided to take a trip out to New York to see him perform. It was incredible! We are huge fans of Eric Burden. Having to be the youngest couple there (22-23 years) was shocking to others. Everyone who attended were the most nicest people we have ever met. Especially meeting a couple who we seated with who will never forget. Eric Burden's performance was just like hearing him in the 1960's. He may be 70 now but he still has it in him. Seeing him and hearing his outstanding vocals really made the show. Great job Mr.Burden! B.B. King Blues Club and Grill was fantastic. It was just like how others said it would be. Very classy, comfortable, and made the show that much better. Thank you B.B. King and Eric Burden for an amazing performance! Will be visiting again.

    Ticket with no seat!

by Powerpop18 on 6/10/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

Buying a ticket months in advance means nothing when you want a seat to enjoy the show. Arriving 45 minutes before showtime was never a problem before at BB KIngs, but "Sorry, standing room only!". I avoided seeing Eric Bourdon at irving Plaza because it was a standing only event. Again I never encountered a sitting problem before at BB's. This put a damper on the evening for the four of us. The latest incarnation of The Animals was fair. They were more or less a backup band. Eric was good, but I didn't like the simplified jazz variations to his hits, which he sang nicely.

They still got it going on

by Anonymous on 6/10/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

He is if anything - better than ever. Tight, tight Blues pieces. He growled his way through and had the crowd on their feet begging for more. Best show I have seen in ten years. Master showman.

    Eric was Amazing

by kinggord on 3/16/11Casino Rama - Orillia

Have seen EB numerous times over the last 30 years. He has not lost it at all. This was probably one of the best, if not the best, that I have heard him sound. Hard to believe he is turning 70 & still has the voice that he has!
